That is a terrifying expectation to live up to, with financial burdens that can haunt you for years after you get your coveted degree. And here's the thing—not everyone can afford to go to college. And college isn't for everyone, so why aren't there more stories in the news about people who are successful without a stuffy degree to validate them?
