We're rebranding from Intuitive Mentor Mom to Rooted in Rising, reflecting a deeper expression of my truth and what I'm here to share. This podcast explores what it means to live with intention, love with depth, and trust that even the hard things in life are shaping us for the better.

• The name Rooted in Rising reflects my belief that when we root deeply into our truth, we rise into our fullest expression
• This podcast will feature both personal stories and conversations with inspiring guests
• We'll explore topics including relationships, sex, parenting, health, spirituality, and politics
• I'm introducing "Root and Rise Check-ins" - two reflective questions to track your growth
• The first question asks "Where did I stay true to myself?" (your root question)
• The second asks "When did I step into a bigger, bolder version of me?" (your rise question)
• Our next episode will focus on the power of conscious choice versus reaction

Make sure you subscribe to Rooted and Rising wherever you listen to podcasts so you never miss an episode, and please share a "rooted moment" in the comments so I can celebrate with you. If you know someone who's ready to step into their truth, send them this episode and let's keep rooting and rising together.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
In this episode.
Stay tuned because we're goingto talk about the rebranding of
this show.
We're no longer IntuitiveMentor Mom, we are now Rooted in
Rising.
And here we go.
Welcome to Rooted in Rising.
I'm your host, tara Michelle, intuitive guide, storyteller and
fellow traveler on this wildpath of becoming.
This is a space for thesoul-led, for the ones

(00:20):
unraveling old stories, tendingto their healing and rising, not
perfectly but powerfully, intowho they are here to be.
Here we explore what it meansto live with intention, to love
with depth and to trust thateven the hard things are shaping
us.
I'll share pieces of my ownjourney the cracks, the beauty,

(00:40):
the breakthroughs and invitevoices who are walking this path
too the breakthroughs andinvite voices who are walking
this path too, because I believelife isn't happening to us,
it's happening for us.
So come as you are, root in andrise up and thank you truly.
Thank you for being here.
Welcome to Rooted in Rising, formerly known as the Intuitive

(01:00):
Mentor Mom Podcast.
I'm really excited because weare giving ourselves an upgrade,
a shift in name, a shift inenergy and a shift into a deeper
expression of who I truly amand what I'm here to share.
So I'm super excited to be withall of you today.
This is a quick, short episodejust really introducing where

(01:20):
we're headed and what we'redoing.
And to those of you who havebeen with me from the beginning,
I first want to say thank you.
I started this show a littleover a year ago and your support
, your messages, your comments, calls that I've had with people
I just want to say thank you, thank you for your presence.
It has meant more to me thanyou can ever imagine and more

(01:44):
than I can ever put into words.
So thank you, and for those ofyou who are brand new to the
show, welcome.
I'm so glad you have found thespace, I'm glad to have you with
us and I'm really glad thatyou're going to join us as we
grow this community of Rootedand Rising.
So my name is Tara Michelle.
I am the host of this show.
First and foremost, I am awoman all woman, that's right

(02:07):
and a mom.
I'm an entrepreneur, a friend,a daughter.
I'm a corporate professional,but I'm also an energy
practitioner and, moreimportantly, more than all of
that, I'm a work in progress, just like the rest of us on this
planet.
So Rooted and Rising was reallyborn out of my own evolution,

(02:29):
the roots I've grown throughlife's challenges and the rise
that comes from owning your owntruth, like really rooting deep
into your own truth.
I've walked through manymoments that have shook the
ground beneath me many butmoments where I've also had to
look and really choose will Ilet this break me or will I let

(02:53):
it grow me?
And every single time when I'vechosen to root deeper into who
I am and into my truth, something beautiful has unfolded
.
So this podcast really is areflection of that journey.
Some weeks you're going to hearfrom me.
I'll share personal stories, raw, unfiltered, the real truth,

(03:15):
the real me.
And other weeks I'm going tosit down with guests.
Some will be my friends, someare entrepreneurs or creatives,
like people that I feel areinspiring and really up to some
really cool things in this world, and I'll be sharing them too.
So we talk about everything fromlove, sex relationships,
parenting, health, spiritualityand, yes, politics.

(03:39):
Maybe we'll also be talkingpolitics, because life isn't one
dimensional and every piece ofit offers us a chance to root
deeper and rise higher, andthat's really what I'm committed
to.
So I believe with all my heartthat life isn't happening to us.

(03:59):
It's not.
I absolutely believe that ishappening for us, and every
single moment we get to choose.
We get to choose who we will bein that very right now moment,
how we will show up forourselves, how we will show up
for others.
That's really how I see thislife is, and so my hope is that

(04:20):
this podcast becomes a placewhere you're reminded of your
own truth, where you feelinspired, where you feel
motivated and activated to liveyour fullest self-expression.
So I do want to start off withsomething simple, something that
you can take away this week, because what we're going to
start doing is we're going tostart doing some root and rise

(04:43):
check-ins.
Okay, no-transcript.
Where did I stay true to myself?
That's your number one question.
That's your root question.
Where did I stay true to myself?
Write that down and write youranswer down.

(05:05):
Open up a journal and do it.
Okay.
Next question, which is yourrise question when did I step
into a bigger, bolder version ofme?
Where did I step into that?
Where?
And write that down and whenyou write these down, I think

(05:25):
you're really going to be amazedat how quickly you start to see
and notice your own growth, because so often we focus on
what we don't have, what wehaven't done, where we're not at
, and we forget to stop andreflect on what are the things I
really did change or transformtoday?
Where did I step into myfullness?
Where did I truly grow?

(05:46):
And as you begin to focus andturn that needle, that direction
, I think you're going to seesome huge shifts.
So, in the next two weeks, thisepisode, or the new episode,
will come out, because, as thoseof you who have been with me
you know, we post every otherweek.
Those of you who are new, wepost every other week.

(06:07):
Every other Sunday at 7am,you'll get a new episode.
The next episode, we will befocusing on the power of choice
and why that's so important, howto notice when we're reacting
versus consciously choosing, andthat's really important because

(06:27):
you really want to understand, you know, am I just reacting to
my situation?
Am I reacting to mycircumstance, or am I
consciously looking at this andutilizing this opportunity as
life is happening for me, andthen powerfully choosing?
So we're going to look at thatand we're going to explore all
of that, and I'm also going toleave you with some practical

(06:48):
tips then too.
So join us in two weeks.
I'm going to be looking forwardto being with all of you again,
and if today's message spoke toyou, I'd love for you to join
me on this journey.
