SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
In this episode,
we're talking about what if the
real battle isn't between leftand right?
But it's actually between lightand dark, between consciousness
and manipulation.
What if we've all been so busydefending sides that we've
forgotten what the game isactually about?
(00:20):
If you've ever felt exhausted bythe endless arguments left
versus right, us versus them, this episode is for you.
So let's get to it.
Welcome to Rooted in Rising.
I'm your host, Tara Michelle, intuitive guide, storyteller,
and fellow traveler on this wildpath of becoming.
This is a space for the soulled, for the ones unraveling old
(00:42):
stories tending to their healingand rising, not perfectly, but
powerfully into who they arehere to be.
Here we explore what it means tolive with intention, to love
with depth, and to trust thateven the hard things are shaping
us.
I'll share pieces of my ownjourney, the cracks, the beauty,
the breakthroughs, and invitevoices who are walking this path
(01:05):
too.
Because I believe life isn'thappening to us, it's happening
for us.
So come as you are, root in andrise up.
And thank you.
Truly thank you for being here.
Hey, beautiful souls.
Welcome back to Rooted inRising.
So excited to be with you today.
I wanted to talk about thistopic.
It might be triggering for some, but I think it's important.
(01:29):
And I really, really wanted tobring it forward today.
I want to explore somethingthat's been stirring in me for a
really long time.
And it's the realization thatthis world we live in isn't just
political.
It's energetic.
It's emotional.
It's spiritual.
This episode was actuallyinspired by a comment thread of
(01:51):
a friend of mine on Facebook whohad mentioned that she's walking
away from the Democratic Party.
And as you can imagine, youknow, there was somebody else on
there that posted and had somecomments that were negative
towards the right.
And so I'm not one to jump intothese types of conversations.
(02:14):
I typically like to stay awayfrom them because of this very
thing that I'm going to talkabout today.
But when I saw it, I just feltcompelled to respond.
And my response wasn't politicalat all.
It was actually more a point ofview that I was hoping would,
you know, shift the perspective, shift a narrative, maybe awaken
(02:41):
some of those who are stillreally caught in what I'm about
to talk about.
So I used to proudly call myselffiscally conservative, socially
liberal.
I think I can still say that Iam.
I believed in balance,responsibility, compassion.
I believed in both those things.
(03:04):
But somewhere along the way, labels have stopped fitting.
Like, you know, I if if if onetalked to me in this day and
age, you could probably say I'mconservative.
But even that doesn't fitbecause liberal today doesn't
mean what it used to mean, andconservative doesn't mean what
it used to mean either.
(03:24):
And what used to be dialogue hasturned into absolute division.
And what used to be perspectivehas turned into absolute
polarity.
And as I watch people tear eachother apart online, and I've
watched this for many, manyyears, this isn't about sides
(03:45):
anymore.
It's about something deeper.
And I began to see the patterns, you know, how media would feed
outrage and how algorithms aredesigned to keep us angry, to
keep us divided, to keep usdistracted.
And as I began to see that, Istarted asking myself, like,
really, who's benefiting here?
(04:05):
We're all at war with eachother.
And who actually benefits fromthat when we are all at war with
each other?
We certainly don't.
And that's when I began to takea step back from the noise, and
I began to reconnect tosomething higher, my higher
power, God, however you want tocall it, my moral compass.
(04:27):
And I started having this innerwhisper of what would love do?
How would love respond?
What would love do right now?
That's what I began hearing inmy mind.
And I started using this as myinternal GPS, like my internal
compass.
And when a post triggered me,God knows I'd want to respond,
(04:50):
but I'd pause.
And when someone said somethingI disagreed with, again, I'd
want to get in there and jump inand make a comment.
I'd pause and I'd breathe.
And I'd ask, what would love sayhere?
Because love doesn't alwaysagree.
(05:10):
Love doesn't actually roll over.
But love sees the human behindthe headline.
And when we operate from love,we no longer need to be right.
We just need to be true.
And truth doesn't scream, itvibrates through integrity.
And so many of us say we wantpeace, yet we post things that
(05:33):
divide.
We share memes that mock and wedefend our rightness instead of
expanding our hearts.
Love is radical neutrality, itis not apathy, but it's clarity.
And it says, you do you and I'lldo me.
And it says that from the spacethat I can see you clearly
(05:59):
without judgment.
So let's be honest.
This whole system we live in, inmy opinion, is a massive psyop.
It is designed to keep uslooping in fear, outrage, and
the left is told to fear theright, the right is told to fear
the left.
And the truth is, fear feedsthat machine.
(06:23):
And when we unplug from that, when we stop reacting to every
emotional trigger the mediathrows at us, that's when we
take our power back.
That's the awakening.
Seeing beyond the script, recognizing the manipulation and
choosing peace over panic, westart to discern, not from ego,
(06:45):
but from energy, from love.
We can feel what's true andwhat's distortion.
And that's when we begin to seethat this is no longer a war
between parties.
It's literally a war betweenlight and dark.
So when I say light and dark, light doesn't mean perfection,
(07:06):
okay?
It means awareness.
Darkness isn't a political side,it's unconsciousness.
Discernment is knowing thedifference between those two.
It's the quiet confidence thatsays, this resonates with love
and this doesn't.
And when we live fromdiscernment, we stop needing to
(07:28):
attack, argue, or convince.
We simply live from truth, andtruth speaks for itself.
That's how we become light in adark world, by embodying it, by
choosing love when it'sinconvenient, by seeing through
manipulation without becomingcynical, and it's not easy.
(07:50):
But it's how we heal oneconscious moment at a time.
Our world is built fromlanguage.
Every word we speak holdsfrequency.
And when we keep rehashing thepast, when we constantly relive
trauma, division, oldnarratives, all we are doing is
(08:11):
recreating the same old worldover and over again.
And that's why conversationsabout love, hope, and creation
matter.
Because we are quantum creators.
Our thoughts literally shape whoand what we experience.
So if you keep speakingdivision, you'll keep living in
(08:34):
division.
If you keep speaking fear, you'll keep living in fear.
But if you start speaking peace, gratitude, and compassion,
you'll begin to experience moreof that.
It's simple.
And I didn't say it's easy.
It is simple, not easy, becauseit takes awareness and it takes
(08:56):
ownership and it takesaccountability.
The future is being writtenright now through what we say,
what we believe, and how welove.
We can't control the world, butwe can absolutely control our
(09:18):
vibration within it.
And from that place, weinfluence everything.
This is where the new earthbegins, not through governments
or parties, but throughconsciousness, through self-love
that radiates outward into theworld.
So ask yourself, where am Istill fighting instead of
(09:39):
loving?
And what would a world built onlove actually look like?
And what small choice could Imake today to create that world?
Because that's how awakeningspreads.
One heart, one moment, one actof grace at a time.
(10:03):

a breath.
