In the wake of immigration enforcement raids by ICE, social and political unrest is gripping Los Angeles and threatening to explode in other major cities across the United States. This enforcement marks a major policy shift from the previous one exercised by the Biden administration. But this shift goes beyond ice, increasing the number of deportations. The Trump administration is also trying to overturn over 150 years of legal precedent by changing the rules regarding birthright citizenship.
