We are entering August, and August means all those runners who are running a marathon this year will slowly be entering heavy mileage. One common challenge that a lot of my runners face is how to manage their strength training while still running sometimes up to 4-5 days per week. Many runners also have a a belief that strength training will inhibit their running gains due to muscle fatigue.
