Speaker 1 (00:01):
Today I'm going to
update you on where Dan and
Patty are, what is going on withDan's health and what's
happening with the RV LifePodcast.
My name is Patty Hunt, with myincredible husband, dan Hunt,
and you are listening to the RVLife Podcast Now.
(00:22):
I've gotten a lot of messagesand information and people
wanted updates, so I thoughttoday was a great day to do that
.
Dan and I are currently inPennsylvania.
We are where we used to livewith family and Dan's health is
still not where it needs to be,so he is having a lot of health
(00:44):
issues.
Actually, I am not going togive details.
I want to protect his privacy, whatever you want to say it, but
I don't want to give anyspecific details, except to say
that he is having some majormedical issues.
And for those listeners who arenew to the rv life podcast, the
(01:06):
last couple of weeks I've donethe podcast without dan, and
today again he is not able to beon the podcast and to let our
listeners know that I'm not surewhen or if he'll get back to
the podcast.
Just to be, you know, transparent there Now.
Dan and I have loved doing theRV Life podcast.
(01:29):
We love the people that we havemet and interviewed the people
that we've been able you, ourlisteners to be able to educate,
inspire and hopefully entertaina little bit.
So we really love what we aredoing here and I'm not letting
the RV Life podcast go anywhere.
(01:50):
It may change a little bit andwe'll see what happens as we
move through the process of whatis going on here.
But, like I said, we're inPennsylvania.
I do want to talk a little bitabout the support we've received
.
So the RV Life podcast wouldnot exist without you, our
(02:11):
listeners, and we are internallygrateful for all of you, as
well as our sponsors Don't justsupport us by having
advertisement on the podcast, but truly supportive, amazing
people, and I want to take a fewminutes to talk about the
people who have been such agreat support, because it also
(02:35):
the purpose of the podcast is togive our listeners information
to help them make decisions.
So I'm going to start withNational Indoor RV Center.
As most people know, they havesix locations.
Brett Davis, the owner, is anamazing person and he is a
(02:55):
sponsor, but he is a good friendand a huge support to Dan and I
personally, as well as thepodcast.
These are the people that wechoose to align ourselves with.
I have to give a shout out forFreightliner, for Jeff Sather,
who is also a friend and anincredible human being and has
been so incredibly supportivethrough everything that Dan and
(03:19):
I have been trying to do, againfor our listeners as well as the
RV industry.
Casey Tubman from Newmar isalso that kind of person.
He looks to make the RVs thatthey put out better, as well as
the industry, a better place forall of us and we have to thank
(03:42):
him for his support.
Place for all of us and we haveto thank him for his support.
We talk a lot on the show, butClear 2.0, clean, fresh water is
so important and Clear 2.0,keith and Harrah is a dog
(04:05):
background barking.
Keith and Barb, who are theowners of the company, are again
amazing people that havesupported Dan and I and the
podcast.
Gina from Open Roads.
They have the Diesel Fuel Cardand Innovative Towing Pass and
again, I'm saying these thingsbecause people can go in the
show notes to see theseincredible people, products,
services that are truly helpfulfor people in the RV lifestyle.
(04:26):
Open road resorts with fouramazing campgrounds Doesn't look
like we're going to get to someof those this year, but
hopefully next year Again.
Chase Becker has just been asupport.
He is an amazing person withinthe RV community and I just have
(04:48):
to give a shout out to him aswell.
Now, as a lot of RVers know, andif you're just starting your RV
journey, some people feel liketraveling from place to place in
an RV can get lonely, and whatdo you do when you're on the
road and something happens?
And that's what's happened withDan and I.
We were in Florida, in Orlando,we were planning on moving to
(05:11):
Pennsylvania and things just gota little more difficult with
Dan's health.
And I have got to say I don'thave the words to show my
appreciation for the people thatreached out by phone, that
actually came to the RV to helpus.
I wish I could sit and list alltheir names.
(05:34):
There was a family of five, aaron and John I hope I'm giving
the right names and there arethree kids that literally moved
our stuff into the trailer Karenand Bruce, that just came and
was there and sat with me anddrove me to get the trailer.
Again, people have reached outand asked what they could do and
(05:55):
shared that they were prayingfor us, and the RV community is
an incredible group of peopleand without the support of the
community, I don't know whatwould have happened or what
would happen.
The support of my family andfriends, obviously.
(06:16):
I guess we expect that right.
We always expect that they'regoing to be supportive.
But when things becomedifficult, you realize just how
much people come together.
As difficult as the situationis, I don't know what's going to
happen as far as RV travelmoving forward.
As difficult as this situationis, there's always something
(06:39):
positive you could see in thosechallenges and just looking at
our sponsors, our supporters, friends, these people have
become friends of ours and theRV community.
It's just been so incredible.
I am so incredibly grateful foreveryone Moving forward with
(07:04):
the RV Life podcast.
I plan to continue recording ourepisodes regularly, to continue
to have guests on that ourlisteners are wanting and
looking for, to help the RVcommunity in any way I can.
The RV industry is such a closelike when I say the industry,
(07:28):
the dealers, everybody involvedin the RV industry.
They're a close group of people, an amazing group of people,
and I'm so happy to be part ofthat and will continue to be
part of that.
So, as we move through thisdifficult time, my plan is to
(07:48):
have an episode up again nextWednesday, as we always do.
Wednesday at 5 am Eastern Timeis when it goes live.
I plan to have a great guest onfor next week and as we move
through this I will continue togive updates.
Anybody that wants to reach outto me you could do that on
(08:11):
Facebook or Instagram.
At RV Life Podcast.
You could private message me,put a message into the group.
I will give updates as thingscome in and I'm able to share
updates.
I will be putting that onsocial media.
That way I can give informationto a lot of people quickly.
(08:31):
So again, if you want to reachout, feel free to do that.
I so greatly appreciate all thekind words, the help and
support, the prayers, the lovethat I have received.
So a nice, short, sweet podcasthere to let everybody know what
(08:51):
is going on.
But I want to end it with don'tforget to have a great rest of
today and an even better daytomorrow.
