Imagine the end of your life, looking back and reminiscing about all that has occurred, all that you’ve learned, what meaning it all had. Have you fulfilled all your dreams? Do you have regrets? What could you have done differently? What things were most important? What legacy do you hope you’ve left behind? Two things we as humans have in common are that we are born into this world, and we will pass on from this world. So often though, we get caught in the hustle and bustle of life and just survive every day. Did we take the time to really get to know and cherish our newborn child? Did we stop to play with or listen to our toddlers when they needed our attention? Did we show up at all their crossroads through their growing up years? How about the love and devotion for the grandkids? Did we give our spouse all the love and devotion they deserved as well as the support they needed through the hard times? Were we there as a listening ear for our friends? Did we take time to continually be in our parents’ lives and give them the care and support they needed as they aged and became less and less able to care for themselves? How did we handle the grief of the losses we’ve faced along the way? What is our view on life and death? Are we scared to die? Did we truly live? In this podcast we will have in depth conversations with the goal of guiding listeners through an embodied life evolution, by transforming grief into hope and peace, and preparing for the end of life with tranquility and acceptance. Through insightful discussions, my hope is that listeners will be empowered to embrace life’s journey with mindfulness and strength, illuminating the path of personal growth, spiritual reflection, and legacy creation, enabling each person to live fully, love deeply, and transition peacefully, leaving a legacy of grace and inspiration. As an aside: I want to make note that though this podcast was originally started in June 2024, it has led in a few different directions. First, it aired as The Embodied Grace podcast which was all interviews on grace and identity as a child of God. I then realized that it might be difficult to create a coaching program around this and as I began paying for my own coaching program on optimizing this podcast for business, I renamed it From Ashes to Grace with the subject matter being trauma. However, The drive for that died out quickly. I missed interviewing people and between losses I’ve had in my own life, losses my husband has had in his recent life, and with my getting back into hospice nursing, I have really found a passion for helping others through grief, through supporting and educating on end of life, and with those things making mortality feel very real, I also look forward to helping others build a life they love, that they can avoid the common regrets at the end of life. Since Christmas 2024, I’ve been speaking on grief and my initial coaching offering will be around grief with goals to expand to the other areas in the near future. This episode is airing on March 20, 2025 and the official rebranding will likely be in the next week or two This is the next chapter for this podcast, from here on known as Sacred Sunsets. I can’t wait for this new journey we’re embarking on together!
With Mother's Day approaching, many are struggling with not having their mom here on Earth anymore. It's a bittersweet reminder of the mom that once was, and for some more bitter than sweet, a reminder of the mom they wish they had, but they didn't. My wish for this episode is to bring hope, encouragement, and some actionable steps that you can take to get through this hard time.
If you're prone to tears, you mi...
I'm super excited for this episode I got to interview my friend, Ms. Magda, who I met at a podcasting summit with Cathy Heller in Hollywood last May.
Magda came from Poland for this event. It was her first trip to the United States. I'm sure it was exciting and scary and fun all at the same time.
We didn't get a great chance to know each other at the event because of the event schedule and varying interaction...
Welcome back to Sacred Sunsets. I'm getting really excited for this podcast and for my upcoming grief coaching program. The more I get into this topic, the more I learn and understand, the more I look forward to sharing it with people I serve. With the mortality rate in life being a hundred percent, it's guaranteed that each of us will die and we each will have to face death of loved ones in our lives. Right? We will als...

Hello and welcome back to Sacred Sunsets. I hope you're doing well, and hope you enjoyed last week's episode. Today we're going to explore both the stigmas and myths of grief and what we can do to break out of that mold. That society's placed on us. And remember, I'm always looking for guests on the podcast, so if you're experienced in grief in some way or you help others through that process, I'...

Today will be an overview of my musings. You get to see into my thought process why my focus on this podcast and my business is what it is. And through the process, hopefully you can relate and maybe even feel some inspiration within my vision so that you too can have a desire to make something more of what time you have and gain some tools along the way to help you through challenging times.
I hope I don't bore you,...
Today's episode is going to serve as dual purposes. It will both be released as this week's episode, but it will also serve as the trailer for the transition of the podcast that I've been talking about for the past several weeks. Again, I want to thank you all for your patience and grace as I come into my own as an entrepreneur.
Entrepreneur and finding what's truly in alignment with my life. My desire...
We’re going to discuss the final stage of grief which is acceptance. We will also cover anticipatory grief, disenfranchised grief, and complicated grief which can occur as well. If you haven’t already listened to the previous episodes, covering the other stages of grief, I encourage you to do so. Remember that those stages are: Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, and Acceptance. As covered previously, these stages are not linear...
Welcome back to this week’s episode of From Ashes to Grace. Life is busy so I’m STILLLLLL working on optimizing my podcast. As mentioned last week, it and my business will most likely be named Sacred Sunsets. I’m really excited for the direction this is going. I really want to thank those of you who have participated in my market research for this. I’ve had 14 responses so far which is amazing! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Sorry it's late. I had some technical difficulty.
I'm so grateful to have you here to listen to this episode. It means the world to me. I'm still in the middle of reworking the podcast, but it's getting there. I'm currently leaning towards renaming both the podcast and the business to Sacred Sunsets. I like this because the sunset can represent nearing the end of life and everything surrounding that.

Welcome back to today’s episode of From Ashes to Grace. I’m still working on switching the podcast around. I’m going to begin doing market research so that I can better meet all of your needs as well as make sure that the podcast is easier to find for others. I’ve posted a link below for a google form for that. I would REALLY appreciate it if you would do that for me!
Last week we started a 5-week series on the stages of grief. La...
Welcome back to this week's episode of From Ashes to Grace. Again, I want to thank you all for your patience as I reworked the podcast. In the next few weeks, it'll be rebranded again to be consistent with its purpose. I have an idea of a name, but it's not final yet, so I'll share it later. For the next five weeks, though, I want to do a series on the five stages of grief, each week covering a different stage....
Welcome back to From Ashes to Grace. I want to thank you again for your patience as I rework the podcast. I'm in the workings of deciding whether to keep the podcast title, cover art, and need to work on making all things related to it congruent across all social media and with my website.
Ultimately, my dream for my podcast and business is To help those who are end of life to have the most fulfilling and peaceful ...
Welcome to this week’s episode of From Ashes to Grace. I hope this week has treated you well. As mentioned previously, I’m going to be working on shifting the podcast more toward grieving, including end-of-life, loss, and living your best life now since we all have to work toward our own transition into the next world. With this, I’m also going to work back towards an interview-based platform. I enjoyed this so much more and can no...
Welcome back to From Ashes to Grace. Today, I really want to delve into living our best lives. We can do this no matter what place we're in in our lives, whether with a prior history of trauma while navigating the depths of grief or in realizing our own mortality and wanting to prevent the regrets that those at end of life often have.

Today, we're going to cover what I think is the most important and foundational aspect of truly being able to heal from your trauma and overcome the grief you feel from life experiences and losses--the power of hope and faith to find joy in your...
Late Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I want to apologize for the sabbatical from the podcast I’ve had the past couple of weeks. The holidays, a new job, and life in general swept me off my feet briefly but I’m back! Today, we’re going to talk about New Year's resolutions, The 1 Percent Rule, and how these can relate to your journey down the path of healing from trauma and grief. I can’t wait for this episode!

I hope you all are having a great holiday season. I do know, however that for people with history of trauma or who have lost a loved one, either to estrangement, or to death, the holidays can be very trying. For this episode, I share a favorite holiday story of mine (Teach the Children), followed by ways that you can brighten the holidays or at least cope with the difficulties of your grief. At the end, I share a song that I heard ...
