Happy Satiated Saturday!

Making friends as an adult can be hard! Not only can it be difficult to find people you truly connect with, but it can also be hard to put yourself out there when you've experienced trauma in relationships with others.

There can be fear that you will be hurt again, as you were in the past. Yet, while trauma can occur in relationships, healing relational wounds can occur in relationships with others as well.

In this week's Satiated Podcast episode, I chat with Kymber Maulden, Nutrition Consultant and Neurosomatic Trauma Coach, about:

  • The exclusion of women-centered research on health
  • The role of safety and connection in food and trauma recovery
  • The impact of loneliness on health
  • Rebuilding connections after experiencing trauma
  • Setting boundaries and growing in personal agency

I hope you enjoy this week's episode and email me anytime if there is a topic you'd like me to cover on the podcast.
