Welcome back to Saucy but Sweet with Ali McPherson. We are back with an episode about a topic we have not really focused on in quite a while, mental health.
All of our day 1s remember our episode seasons ago on Transparent Black Girl , a collective that focuses on healing trauma founded by the amazing wellness advocate and journalist Yasmine Jameelah who experienced trauma, and has struggled with her own mental health for years. We’ve taken a long hiatus from talking about mental health, which trust us, has not been our intention.
This podcast is where we talk about society and culture, and that definitely includes mental health which has become a lot more acceptable to discuss in our society and culture today.
This week we will be discussing the anxiety of it all with the fabulous podcaster, journalist and coach Leah Smart. We recorded this episode in December 2024.
