So it was tough, but I'm back atit.
I'm excited.

That movie, that movie had abudget of almost$200 million.
$200 million.

It's actually a little bitsurprising that it had such a
high budget.
Well, what may be even moresurprising is how much money it
made.
On a$200 million budget.
Ant-Man and the wasp made 622.
Million dollars.

Back to Ant-Man and the waspthough.
This movie was on real.
It came out 2018, which is aboutthe same year.
Um, infinity war came out notabout it's literally the same
year.

I couldn't remember.
Y it, cause when I was goingthrough the MCU movies in order,
I couldn't remember why thismovie came out.
Before infinity war.
I was like, I honestlycompletely forgot.
It's been a while since I saw.
Oh, sorry.
Came up.
Before end games want.
I mean, it's been a while sinceI saw ant man and the wasp.
And so I didn't really remember,but now I do at the end of the

movie, he gets stuck in thequantum realm and that's what
they use to.
Save everybody in end game.
This was a great film for whatant man is supposed to be.
I know they took a step backwith Quanta mania, but in this
one, I think it's the best antman movie.
And it shows.
The entire cast crew directors,writing everyone is at their
best out of the three movies.

Another unimportant characterthat was introduced in this film
was ghost who's played byHannah, John common hope.
Ava stars, her characters name.
I hope I got that.
Right.
I apologize if I didn't.
She's going to be in thethunderbolts, which looked so
good.

On real loved it.

And in this film, she was such agood villain.
There wasn't really.
Like a main antagonist is likebad guy that they fight and
defeat at the end, which I kindof like, there's like, um,
different assortment of peopleat different times in the movie
where the bad guy.
So she stood out for me.
I want to talk about the sidecharacters a bit that stood out
for me.

Uh, Luis is always amazing.
Another person who I absolutelyloved is most people know him as
Asian gym, but he's going to beknown to the MCU as Jimmy.
Woo.
Played by Randall park.
He was so funny at the end.
There's this little bit theyhave with Scott Lang or he has

with Scott Lang in.
I mean where he just kinda talksabout I'll see you again.
It's got it's like, what do youmean.
He's like, no, I just, this isawkward exchange.
He was like, I don't know.
I thought maybe you were askingme for dinner and then Jimmy was
like, wait, do you want to gofor dinner?
It's kind of like, it's like,no, I was like, yeah, I didn't
think so.

What a great.
Funny cast.
At Manhattan and all the three.
You know what, even in quantummania, The secondary cast is
always so good.
And what I mean by secondary isyou have, you know, you're
Louise you're bill foster.
You're Jimmy.
Woo.
These kind of second.

They're like a little bit belowthe main guys in T in terms of
screen time and importance tothe film, then you have your
main cast, which is Scott Langhope van Dyne, Janet van Dyne
and Hank pimp.
Jonathan diamonds played byMichelle Pfeiffer.
Who's.
I guess most known for Catwoman.

I don't know.
I don't really follow hercareer, but I think of her as

cat woman.
If she's not Catwoman.

Michael Douglas is Hank.
Pym always really, really good.
Hope van Dyne was such a goodlove interest to Scott Lang and
all the movies, which makes meso sad that Evangeline Lilly is
retired from acting becauseshe's one of my.
Favorite actors on the planet.

At the very top leading the filmand just.
I know I keep using the sameword, but it's just accurate.
It's an accurate word to use.
Crushing it.
He absolutely crushed it.
And that's Paul Rudd as ScottLang the Titular character.

I actually just saw a movie.
Uh, with Paul Rudd in it calledfriendship.
Wasn't a huge fan, but he's sogood in this one.
He's funny, he's charismatic.
He's sympathetic.
No missteps by Scott Lang.
This movie didn't have like.
This like.
Uh, what, what we're doing.
I want to use.
Elevated acting, you know what Imean?

What I mean by that is like, no,one's going to win an Oscar in
this movie.
And that's okay.
It was so much fun.
That's what these movies are.
That's what ant man is supposedto be.
He's the funny one out of thegroup, his moves are always
been, I've always been thefunniest.
It did really well.
And rotten tomatoes to thismovie got 87% on rotten
tomatoes.

Cause it was funny.

I thought it was going to be endgame.

I'm very interested in captainMarvel because.

I always thought it was one ofthe weaker MCU movies.
And I'm curious to see if thatstill holds up or if maybe.
It's just not, maybe I justcaught, got caught up in the
negative hype around it.

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm.
