Baseball fans throughout the country – but especially in the Mid-Atlantic area – were largely caught by surprise this week when the New York Mets signed player-phenom, JUAN SOTO, to the largest professional sports contract in all history (to date) $765 million over 15 years. The official press conference was held on Thursday, December 12 and we offer an excerpt here. Timing fell apart at the last minute and is re-scheduled for this Sunday, December 15th.
