In this episode, Chelsea Willson, my inquisitive & free thinking bestie, & mom of two, shares her genuine heart & her journey into entrepreneurship, which led to her being her most authentic self. Coming from victimhood mentality from childhood traumas that left her lost & not knowing who she was, to paving a new path forward that includes building a successful business as a side hustle, she talks about the biggest catalysts in her life that pointed her toward healing, doing the inner work, & creating a life that she never knew was possible. She feels empowered with new perspective & tools to nurture herself in the down times of life, like meditation & self-reflection/journaling, & she is realizing the importance of cultivating a deep trust in her intuition.
Take Aways:
1. Just because you are doing one thing now, like being in a corporate job, doesn’t mean you have to stay there
2. We didn’t come to this earthly existence for a pile of things that money can buy. We came for love, connection, creativity, to help & serve others, & to follow the things that light us up
3. Find your passion, your purpose, & let it evolve
4. Being creative is exciting. Start doing small things to cultivate your creativity
5. Sometimes it takes a few evolutions of something before you get to what really resonates with you
6. Investing in a coach changes your life, your perspective, & helps you find the answers you are searching for. They are a good reflection, can see things you can’t, & offer helpful techniques that make a difference. They are the bridge you need. Invest in you!
7. If you are an entrepreneur selling products or services, pick a customer & expand what you are selling from there, rather than picking a niche or best-selling product. It’s about the who, not the what
8. The key to your authenticity is following your heart’s desires. When you follow your authentic path, everything opens up
9. Pay attention to and let yourself be led by the intuitive signs, signals, whispers, & your heart’s desires!
10. Choosing to take time & space for yourself each morning changes your life
11. Trust that your path will show up if you take the first step
