Hello, my name is Diana Dirkby and I live with paranoid
schizophrenia.
Today, I'm very happy because Ihave a big announcement to make
.
Namely, my book, the Overlife,a Tale of Schizophrenia, has won
an award.

On December 16, 2024, Ireceived an email informing me
that I had won a 2024International Impact Book Award
for my book, "The Overlife, aTale of Schizophrenia, by Diana
Dirkby.
You'll remember that the novelis a fiction novel about a
mother and daughter both livingwith paranoid schizophrenia, and
that it is based strongly on myown life.

I immediately emailed theorganisers of the award to thank
them and received a quickresponse welcoming me to the
International Impact Book Awardfamily.
This news significantly boostedmy new year, sending me into
2025 feeling supported and partof a large group of authors with
