It's an unfortunate fact that in a heterosexual relationship, it tends to be the man who takes care of the finances. He is the one who makes the big decisions when it comes to investing, mortgages, insurance and so on. But it's a big problem, especially for women, when a relationship breaks down. Alison Kosik, best known internationally as the face of Wall Street for CNN has recently written a book entitled "What's Up with Women and Money? which details her personal experience with finances after going through a divorce, and how women can do ALL the financial stuff they have been avoiding.
