In this episode Connie talks about the undeniable encounter she had with God as a teenager, and how she discovered that the only One who would give her life purpose was Jesus Christ. She has since dedicated her life to helping others discover their purpose and the love of God through Scripture. She serves at St. Paul's United Church Brampton and also helps train and consult other congregations on church growth and development.

Connie denBok is minister of St. Paul’s United Church in Brampton, living an abiding passion for the health and faith of local congregations. She has taught as an adjunct professor at Tyndale University and Theological Seminary, Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, and Atlantic School of Theology. 


Her explorations of faith and vitality have included leading three church planting teams, sharing insights as a plenary speaker and leading workshops for United Church, Anglican, Evangelical, and ecumenical conferences, and being a columnist/writer for Faith Today, the United Church Observer, and other publications. 


Having discovered the joy of pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago many years ago, she includes at least one long trek a year to recover the blessed rhythm of breathing in step with God. She is involved in home renovations, and rehabilitation for dogs in her spare time!
