Earlier this year, at his Mara Largo dinner for the mega rich and mega polluters, Trump asked for a combined billion dollar contribution, and promised big gas and oil more G/A exporting, less (EPA) regulation, slash EV tax credits, and cut alternative energy funding. The CEO's were skeptical, figuring out that most of that billion would be pocketed by Trump and his legal team for his legal expenses.

In June, Trump met with over 80 CEO's of major multi-national corporations in an effort to lock-in support and donations in exchange for more tax-cuts for the rich, deregulation, and his crazy, all-tariff policy that would make goods outlandishly expensive, because Americans pay the tariff on imported goods. Many attendees reported his meandering, word salad speech.

But what about manufacturing? We would like to see high-paying, less hazardous manufacturing jobs back too. But our manufacturing infrastructure needs to be repaired, rebuilt and ramped-up before major trade decisions are made. Is he an imbecile, or what?

Believe it or not fellow Americans, what he said may NOT fall within our legal definitions of bribery. Hopefully, he jotted down a quid pro quo agreement on a role of toilet paper and slipped it under the bathroom stall, but don't hold your breath.
