The power to transform your life, build a thriving business, and reach millions might be hiding right in your pocket. Your smartphone isn't just a device for mindless scrolling—it's potentially the most powerful tool for growth and connection you've ever owned.

Most people make the critical mistake of waiting for perfect conditions before sharing their journey online. They believe they need the perfect studio, the ideal body, or complete mastery before offering value. I know better. Seven years ago, fresh out of prison with nothing but an iPhone and determination, I began documenting my redemption journey. That decision changed everything—creating opportunities to speak on stages alongside icons like Tim Grover and Marcus Luttrell, building a successful coaching business, and most importantly, serving my purpose by helping others overcome their own challenges.

Social media's true power lies in three key benefits: exponentially expanding your reach beyond geographical limitations, building genuine relationships that create win-win opportunities, and providing value that impacts others' lives in ways you might never anticipate. Whether you're a construction business owner, aspiring coach, or stay-at-home parent with amazing recipes, consistently sharing your unique knowledge creates ripple effects that extend far beyond what you can immediately measure. The most unexpected benefit? When you commit to showing up daily for your audience, you naturally push yourself to grow and take action—transforming social media from a simple platform into a powerful catalyst for becoming your best self.

Stop letting fear of judgment hold you back. We're all going to die someday—most likely everyone alive right now will be gone in a hundred years. So why waste precious time worried about what others might think? Start where you are, document your evolution, and watch as both your life and your impact expand beyond anything you could imagine. Your willingness to be seen might just be the inspiration someone else desperately needs today.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Imagine if, each and every day, you knew you want to
post valuable content for peopleand that motivated and inspired
you to do the work on yourselfso you can share it with other
people.
That's when it really becomes acatalyst in your life, and I've
used social media to become abetter speaker, to build
relationships, to get on stagesand create opportunities to help
really change lives and alsomake a shitload of money and

(00:20):
provide a beautiful life for myfamily.
All of those things becamepossible because every day, the
first thought in my head when myalarm goes off at four and I'm
tired and I don't want to getout of bed is damn.
Other men right now who arestruggling need to hear
something positive.
They need to see an actiontaker, they need to be reminded
of their potential.
Because when individuals see meout running at five in the

(00:41):
morning, spit motivation into myphone or in the gym working out
, and they're not all in ontheir lives, it's going to
trigger them, it's going to pissthem off or it's going to get
them thinking about why they'renot doing more in their lives.
I'm not doing it to say, hey, look at me, I'm better than you.
I'm doing it to say hey, look, how much more fucking capable
you are, let's get to work.

(01:05):
Welcome back to another episodeof the Unstoppable Mindset
Podcast.
I'm your host, sean Crane.
Thank you guys for tuning in.
I'm in my home office today inbeautiful Santa Barbara,
california.
Real quick, before I kick thismessage off a lot of people want
to wait forever until they takeaction towards their goals.
You think you need a perfectpodcast studio to start a
podcast, right?

(01:25):
You need to, like, be thefittest you've ever been in your
life before you can start totalk about working out and
nutrition.
Like you think, you have tohave the absolute best results
before you could start eithershowing your life on social
media or talking about whatyou've learned.
That couldn't be further fromthe truth.
Like, I'm here at my house inmy office and I film my podcast

(01:46):
here Now.
I've had a podcast studio andI've, you know, had nice
equipment and I've also hadnothing but an iPhone.
But through it all, I wasalways consistent in sharing my
message online, and that's whatI want to talk about today.
I want to talk about why youshould be sharing content online
, specifically, three reasonsthat you need to be posting
content on social mediaplatforms and what it can do for

(02:08):
you in your professional lifeand even your personal life.
Now we live in a time wherethere's so much opportunity.
You could literally reachanybody in the world.
You could reach people infreaking China.
You could reach people in theMiddle East.
You could reach people inAustralia.
You could reach people allthroughout the United States by
sharing your truth and yourvalues and what you do in your

(02:29):
life online.
Now, when it comes to business, there's never been a tool or an
opportunity as great as socialmedia.
It's free advertising.
Back in the day, you used tohave to pay a lot of money to
get in front of the amount ofpeople that we can get in front
of now, but I could post a reelonline that gets seen by a
million people.
You know, I could grow a socialmedia account to have millions
of followers and if you have abusiness or a message or a

(02:53):
product or service, now you havemillions of people whose
eyeballs are on you.
It's so important that if youwant to grow your business or
create more opportunity, thatyou're leveraging the online
space.
Now, before I tell you thethree reasons why, I just want
to start off by telling you guysthat I got out of prison seven
years ago and starteddocumenting my life and my

(03:15):
journey of redemption andrebuilding my life online, and I
shared a lot of the things thathelped me to change in prison
with my audience and itresonated with them and it
helped me to build realconnections and relationships
with people to the point where, when I started my online
coaching business, it took offbecause I had all these people
who had been watching me, whohad been following me, who were
intrigued by my story and theway I lived, and they saw me

(03:37):
progressively improving my lifeafter prison, and so they were
bought into my process because Idocumented it and I showed them
what I was doing.
So this concept applies to bluecollar business owners.
If you're a roofer, if you owna construction company, this
applies to coaches, aspiringspeakers.
If you're a stay at home mom andyou like to cook these yummy,

(03:58):
tasty recipes and you're likedang, people would probably love
these recipes.
If you document that every dayand show people how you prep the
food where you grocery shop, how you make it, having your
kids eat it and taste test it.
Let's say it's healthy recipesof tasty snacks and treats for
kids.
Dude, that would blow up.
You put it on YouTube or TikTokor whatever.
And all of a sudden you havetons of stay-at-home moms who

(04:21):
want to watch you becausethey're getting value from your
content.
And who knows what that canlead to.
That can lead to sponsorships,endorsements.
It can lead to you having afreaking Netflix series.
There's no limitations here andthe possibilities are endless.
And social media and the onlinespace literally it's perfectly
symbolic of the fact thatthere's no limitations in life.
I've posted content onlinewhere it's created so many

(04:45):
opportunities for meOpportunities to speak on stages
with guys like Tim Grover, marcus Luttrell from Lone
Survivor, actors, celebritiesLike.
I've been able to buildrelationships with so many
influential people and reallygrow a business.
That's not just sustaining mylifestyle, but it's allowing me
to thrive and take care of myfamily and reach people and help
them to overcome their demonsand their traumas and to reach a

(05:06):
point in life where they'retruly in love with what they're
doing.
Like.
It allows me to serve mypurpose, and I don't think
there's any greater gift in lifethan to get clear on what your
purpose is and being able tofulfill it.
If you want a good book thatreally depicts that journey.
The alchemist is a great bookthat I even had my my child.
It talks about uncovering yourpurpose and what it takes to

(05:32):
live out your purpose.
It's a really cool story.
So, the Alchemist?
Go ahead and read it.
But now we're going to get intoit.
We're going to talk about threereasons why you need to be
posting content on social media.
Number one it's simple.
You can reach way more people.
Think about 200 years ago, likeyou didn't know anyone beyond
your county right, maybe beyondyour farm, depending on where

(05:56):
you grew up, or your smalllittle town.
So now you literally can reachmillions of people online, on
TikTok, on YouTube, on Instagram.
You can not only see and meetand reach other people, you can
learn from them or you can teachthem.
So, number one you just havethe ability to reach a massive
amount of people, an abundanceof people.
What that leads to is, secondly, relationships.
Now, if you want to besuccessful, it's all about your

(06:20):
relationships.
The first thing is developingyourself, having the right
mindset, having the right habits, having skills that bring value
into those relationships.
But once you get to that point,it's all about how many people
can I meet where we have thingsin common where you know our
relationship creates a win-win.
Or maybe you have a product orservice and it's like how many
people can I reach who need thisproduct or service?
Let's say you sold somethingfor a thousand bucks.

(06:42):
I don't know what it is.
It's a fitness program and itreally helped people lose weight
, build confidence, buildself-love intrinsically and,
just like, really change theirlives.
Now, if you met a hundredpeople that'd be a hundred
thousand dollars who wanted tobuy your program.
Let's say you met a millionpeople who wanted to buy your
program.
Like, there's no limits here.
Okay, if you're online andyou're creating content, you're

(07:03):
creating opportunities.
So the first thing you need todo is post content consistently.
Okay, and we're going to getinto all that in a second.
But I want to just reallysummarize this.
You reach more people.
You can build relationshipswith people In.
Those relationships is wheretrust is built, where rapport is
built.
Dude, you can meet your futurewife on social media.
I know a lot of people whobuild relationships that turn

(07:23):
into personal relationships.
Online, you can reach tons ofcustomers.
You can reach people thatbecome part of your inner circle
, people that you become friendswith.
People that you can networkwith people that refer you by
just posting contentconsistently and reaching more
people so-and-so, might be atthe dinner with their in-laws
and their in-laws roof has aleak in it and he's like oh yeah

(07:44):
, I saw this content creator, Isaw this roofing company.
I keep seeing their contentblue steel roofs, right.
Here's their social media page.
All of a sudden, there's a newclient or customer just because
you've been consistently postingright.
And so the third thing that'sreally cool about posting
content consistently is you canhelp other people.

(08:06):
You can provide insight andinspiration to other people.
You might not think you're aninspiring individual.
You're exceptional, and thatcouldn't be further from the
truth.
There's nuances and unique waysthat you live your life that
other people would findintriguing.
It might be the book you'rereading.
It might be the freaking teayou drink.
It might be the food that youcook for your children.
It might be the vacations youtake.
It might be the way that youwork out.

(08:28):
It might be the job that youhave, the career that you have.
If you just post contentconsistently, you get in front
of more people, you build realrelationships, and you never
know how you're going to impactindividuals, and a lot of times
I'll take my life experience orknowledge for granted.
And let's take nutrition, forinstance.
I don't like to post contentabout nutrition.
I just eat the food that I eatevery day to achieve my goals,

(08:50):
and for me it's a lifestyle.
But if I posted every meal thatI ate every day and how I
prepped that and how I weighedit out and how it helped me to
get eight pack abs or to getjacked or whatever it is, that
would be super valuable forpeople, cause one of the biggest
questions I often get is likeabout nutrition, about macros,
about the best quality foods toeat.
So many people lack educationaround proper nutrition because

(09:13):
we've been brainwashed overyears, right, so that's a
perfect example of likesomething that I might take for
granted and not realize isvaluable for people is super
valuable.
And for you right now.
There's things that you aredoing in your life every day
that will provide insight andinspiration to other people, but
you're not posting contentconsistently because you don't
feel like you're good enough.

(09:33):
I talk to so many of you allthe time and you just second
guess and question yourself.
Number one, if you think thatway you're never going to get
what you want, okay.
Number two if you feel that way, it means that you want to be
doing more in your life, butyou're holding back.
And here's a good example Ifyou saw a friend that you went
to high school with, let's say, today at the corner market,

(09:58):
let's say, you had a childhoodfriend from high school, you
guys were like 15 together andnow you're whatever 30, 40 years
old, I'm 36.
I'll be 37 this week.
When I see people, I'm sofucking excited about what I'm
doing.
I can't contain it.
I can't hold it back becauseI'm all in on my dream and my
vision and my purpose.
And I've been all in for thelast 13 years and this momentum

(10:18):
is just swelling.
It's just swelling, it's justgrowing right.
So when I get around people Ihaven't seen they feel that
energy.
It's infectious.
My excitement, my gratitude, itstands out my positivity.
I'm not just faking that, it'snot just that.
I was born that way and that'show I always am.
I'm doing things every day tocontinue to stoke that energy
and bring it alive inside of me.
And if you don't feel that way,it's because you're not doing

(10:48):
things that serve you, you'renot all in on your goals, you're
procrastinating, you're makingexcuses.
So why would you want to sharecontent online?
To tell people how you're notdoing what you want to do in
life?
Now imagine this.
Imagine if you use social medianot only as a way to inspire
people, but as an accountabilitytool.
Imagine if, each and every day,you knew you want to post
valuable content for people andthat motivated and inspired you
to do the work on yourself soyou could share it with other
people.
That's when it really becomes acatalyst in your life, and I've
used social media to become abetter speaker, to build

(11:10):
relationships, to get on stagesand create opportunities to help
really change lives and alsomake a shitload of money and
provide a beautiful life for myfamily.
All of those things becamepossible because every day, the
first thought in my head when myalarm goes off at four and I'm
tired and I don't want to getout of bed is damn.
Other men right now who arestruggling need to hear
something positive.
They need to see an actiontaker.

(11:32):
They need to be reminded oftheir potential, because when
individuals see me out runningat five in the morning spitting
motivation into my phone, or inthe gym working out and they're
not all in on their lives, it'sgoing to trigger them, it's
going to piss them off, or it'sgoing to get them thinking about
why they're not doing more intheir lives.
I'm not doing it to say, hey, look at me, I'm better than you.
I'm doing it to say, hey, look, how much more fucking capable

(11:52):
you are.
Let's get to work.
And I've done that every daysince I got lot of people and
help them.
But it's always because, deepdown inside, I care about people
.
I know where I'm going as faras my goals and my vision, and I
know each and every day, bysharing content, it's creating
opportunities that even rightnow are invisible to me.
Somebody right now is hearingthis message that I've never met

(12:15):
, that I've never spoken to, andthat we will connect.
One day you might go to anevent I speak at.
You might go to an event Ispeak at.
You might come out to SantaBarbara to my mastermind.
Maybe you get on the fitnessand nutrition program and get
shredded and build confidenceand become a better dad, a
better human being.
I don't know.
Maybe we just become friendsand share content and message
back and forth and say, hey, hope you had a great day.
That's all positive stuff.
Those are all positive outcomesthat are created because of

(12:38):
this moment where I'm sharingcontent that never would have
been possible had I not beenwilling to take action.
You guys need to live with morewillingness, open-mindedness.
We're all going to freaking diein a hundred years.
Most likely, no one's going tobe on this planet that's alive
right now.
Maybe there's a couple ofpeople that will live beyond a
hundred years.
The point is stop being fearful, stop worrying about failure
and judgment.

(12:58):
Get your ass on camera, createopportunities and grow as you
document your journey.
So people see that evolutionand they want to get to know you
and follow you even more.
