Speaker 1 (00:00):
I never make
decisions based on fear and
doubt, and this might be thevery most important concept I
wanna share with you right now.
I'm so optimistic that ifpeople were able to read my mind
and entertain my thoughts on adaily basis, they would want to
check me into a psych ward.
Dude, I dream so big.
I'm a dreamer, but I'm anaction taker.
I love this life.
I created this life, I went allin for this life, I prayed for
(00:22):
this life.
I prayed for this life and Iworked my ass off to create this
life.
I love this life because of theblood, sweat and tears I put
into it, because of the fears Ifaced, the adversity I overcame,
like getting up every day andgoing after it.
I can't let myself live asecond as an inferior version of
the man that I know I can be.
If you can apply one of thosetraits that I just shared with
you, one of thosecharacteristics, you'll have an
(00:47):
edge on the world.
If you can apply all six, you'll be unstoppable, and
that's what I want for you.
All right, you guys, I want toshare a powerful message with
you today, something that I wasthinking about this morning in
my reflection.
Every morning, I get up and Ido the same thing.
I pray and thank god foranother day of life, for a beat
(01:08):
in my heart, for legs that work, for the ability to go out, for
my dreams, for my beautifulfamily, and then I pray for
guidance and direction, for thywill to be done, not mine.
This is something I've done forthe last 13 years and I've been
continuously on that path topursue my dreams, to become my
best self, to inspire others andliterally to carry out the
(01:30):
feeling inside of me, themessage from above, and I want
to share with you six reasonsthat I have an edge on everybody
else in society Everybody elsethat is checked out, that are
jaded, that are living likezombies, that are just in
autopilot.
I got an advantage on them, youknow, because I figured
something out man that works inlife and I want to share it with
(01:50):
you guys.
I'm not saying I'm better thanyou.
I'm not saying that I havestuff that you don't have.
I just figured out a way tothink and operate that has
massively transformed my life.
So there's six key distinctions, principles that I want to
share with you in this clip thatgive me an edge or an advantage
on the average person, including my past self, who was
(02:11):
stuck, who was lost, who washopeless.
And these are six things thatyou can apply to your life right
now, like you could literallyapply these concepts immediately
and consistently, and over time, I promise you, it will lead to
a better life.
So the first one is that Inever make decisions based on
fear and doubt, and this mightbe the very most important
(02:34):
concept I want to share with youright now I never make
decisions based on fear anddoubt.
I've trained myself over yearsand years and years to only make
decisions based on who I wantto become, the life I want to
become, the life I want tocreate.
You know, hard decisions, toughdecisions, scary decisions,
decisions that get youuncomfortable that's what leads
to growth, and I recognized along time ago that I had two
(02:55):
voices inside my head.
And no, I'm not crazy, and youcould probably relate to me here
.
There's two versions of youright now.
There's two versions of me.
There's two versions ofeverybody, the person inside of
you, that voice, that genuine, authentic truth that's calling
you to become the best person,to make the hard decisions,
commitments, changes, sacrifice, whatever it takes, to live the
(03:16):
ultimate life.
And then there's that othervoice.
It's doubt, it's fear, it's aninsidious, negative, fearful
voice inside of you that's goingto keep you stuck if you listen
to it.
Here's the thing as children, you are living purely and
authentically based on that goodvoice, that conscience, that
connection to God, source, purpose, whatever you want to
(03:36):
call it.
The universe is speaking to you, right?
I'm sure right now you canthink of a couple things in your
life that you've been wantingto change, a couple things that
you've been procrastinating on,whether these are big goals and
dreams and visions, or maybeit's something like a breakup or
a new job or moving, or there'sgoing to the gym, eating
healthier, quitting alcohol, whatever it is, there's always
two versions of us battlinginside each other at any given
(03:57):
time, and it's always the personyou want to be and it's like
that genuine feeling and thought.
But then it's always met with afearful thought or a doubtful
thought, or a thought that'sgoing to talk you out of taking
action Right.
Or it's that voice inside ofyou that's telling you hey,
sleep in, you know, just partyone more time, it's going to be
fine, like you don't got to getsober now, you're young.
(04:18):
Or it's always enabling youRight.
I remember when I was in jail Igot very, very familiar with
these two voices.
And it was the first time in mylife because I was sober,
because I was isolated that Igot keenly connected and aware
of that good voice that wasinside of me that had been
silenced for so long.
You see, I'd been makingdecisions based on fear and
doubt, pleasure seeking wildlifestyles like what I wanted
(04:39):
right for so long, and I knewall the while I wanted to be a
better version of myself, Iwanted to be different.
There was changes I wanted tomake, but I wouldn't make them
because I was listening to thatother voice that was always
telling me oh, I'll do it later,oh, you don't got to change now
.
And because of that, my lifewas getting progressively worse
and worse and worse, and I hadless control over a lot of
things.
And it was the pivotal moment, when I decided to go all in to
(05:00):
listen to that good voice anddedicate my life to that path,
that everything changed for me.
I've never made decisions basedon fear and doubt ever since and
I've seen everythingprogressively improve sobriety,
health, mentality, confidence,gratitude, family, finances,
career, like everything andanything you can imagine and
name right now, has steadilyimproved as I've been on this
(05:21):
path.
And it's as simple as that foryou.
Get clear on who you want to be.
Listen to that conscience, thatgood voice that's calling you
to make the changes.
Get uncomfortable, go afteryour dreams and you will never
fail.
It might be hard, it might bechallenging, you might have to
pivot, you might change course acouple of times, but I promise
you become so successful if youjust apply that one concept.
(05:41):
Now.
The second thing I want to sharewith you is that a long time
ago, I stopped giving a fuckabout what people think or say.
You know, I always tell people.
When I was younger, I had thefucking attitude for all the
wrong reasons.
Once I decided to change mylife and go down this righteous
path that I've been on, that Godhas bestowed me upon, I stopped
worrying about judgment ofother people.
I stopped worrying about whatthey thought and I just
(06:03):
recognized that, no matter whatyou do, people are going to
judge you.
They're gonna judge you forbeing super shredded and ripped
and they're gonna say you're onsteroids and that you don't
enjoy life because you don't eatjunk food, or if you're fat and
out of shape, they're gonnajudge you for being lazy.
If you're super rich, you'regoing to be condemned because
you're an evil billionaire.
If you're poor, you're going tobe ridiculed for having no
(06:24):
clothes or having no house ornot being able to take care of
your family.
So whatever you do in life, right, you're going to be judged
by it.
Make sure the judgments countfor something, and what I mean
by that is make sure you havewhat you want the life that you
want to create, because theperson that you're proud to see
when you look in the mirror, theperson that you love to be.
And then those judgments theydon't matter because they're
going to be there, no matterwhat.
But a long time ago I stoppedworrying about what other people
(06:47):
are thinking or saying and Iwent after my goals and my
dreams, because, at the end ofthe day, when you're sitting on
your deathbed or you'rereflecting on your life, none of
those judgments are going tosave you.
They're not going to changeanything for you, right?
What will haunt you is thethings you didn't do, the goals
you didn't achieve, the personyou didn't become, the life that
you didn't create.
That will torment you and youwon't be able to escape that.
And you know there's aninteresting statistic that says
(07:09):
most people at the end of theirlives, the number one thing they
regret is not living the lifethat they actually wanted to,
but they lived a life based onother people's expectations,
based on what other peoplewanted for them, and because of
that they had immense regret andthey wished they could go back
and live their lives over.
But they didn't get that secondchance.
They didn't get that.
Do over.
So for you, right now, I wantyou to recognize the people
closest to you, even like aspouse, family member, close
(07:31):
friends, siblings.
They might not understand whatyou're doing when you're making
changes, but if you're goingafter something that's truly
meaningful to you and you stayconsistent, over time, the
people that truly love you, they're going to support you
right, you're going to win themover.
You're going to prove to themby staying consistent and
focused and not going back tothat old version of yourself.
You're going to introduce tothem the new version of you and
(07:52):
they're going to accept thatperson over time.
Do it for you, man, you get onelife and I'm telling you you
don't want to get to the end andhave regrets based on the way
you live because you were soworried about being judged by
other people.
That's ridiculous.
The third thing I want to sharewith you guys is that I am
delusionally optimistic.
I'm so optimistic that ifpeople were able to read my mind
and entertain my thoughts on adaily basis, they would want to
(08:14):
check me into a psych ward, likedude.
I dream so big.
I'm a dreamer, but I'm anaction taker.
Everything I've dreamt about tothis point and envisioned but
I'm an action taker.
Everything I've dreamt about tothis point and envisioned, I've
materialized into a reality.
I've manifested the ultimatelife and I'm still, honestly,
just getting started.
But when I was in jail, I wouldenvision being on stage,
speaking in front of thousandsof people.
I would go through thisin-depth meditation and
(08:35):
visualization, right when Iwould just be captivating the
audience.
I would just be channeling thatenergy and that passion to them
in real time and I could seetheir faces in those moments.
Mind you, I'm doing this in ajail cell, I'm in prison at the
time, you know and that became areality for me.
I've done that dozens anddozens of times over, changed
people's lives from stage, builtmy coaching business based on
(08:56):
my message and being able topour my heart and soul into
people right Through messageslike this, through messages on
stage, through my privatecoaching sessions and other
things, envisioning having afamily and a beautiful wife who
I could cherish and take care ofand children that I could raise
the right way.
Like everything that Ienvisioned coming home and
building a successful businessas a felon, as a guy who's
(09:16):
facing life in prison, you know,um, my, my business is a
multiple seven figure coachingbusiness that I started on my
own using my iPhone during COVIDand now I have 16 team members
and we have a doctor and adietician and we're
international.
Okay, and we're literally justgetting started.
We'll have a nine-figurebusiness in the next five years
the number one health andfitness coaching program for
(09:39):
high-level business ownersthat's performance-based, in the
country, guaranteed.
One thing I've always done is Idream big and I've had the
audacity and courage andconviction to call my shot.
And I get on social media.
I'd get on that jailhouse phonewhere I'd write those letters
home or I'd tell my wife, aswe're lying in bed before we go
to sleep, what God put on myheart and what I was going to do
to bring it to reality.
And I'm not scared to talkabout it Again.
(10:01):
I don't care what people think,I'm not worried about being
judged, and I never makedecisions based on fear and
doubt.
I make decisions based on thepurpose that God has put on my
heart, and I have conviction andI believe in myself because I
put in the work every day right.
And so, you guys, what I wantyou to know is that the bigger
you dream, the farther you go,and the only limitations on your
life is the one you place onyourself.
(10:21):
So many people, so many peopledon't get what they want simply
because they don't believe it'spossible.
But if you have the ability todream big and entertain those
visions and back them up withaction and live in alignment,
and then just delaygratification for a long period
of time, like fuck it, I don'tcare if it happens in 70 years,
I just want to get to that point, right?
You forget about the end result, dude.
(10:42):
That's when the magic starts tohappen, and you know.
This brings me to the fourthreasons.
Why I have an edge on the worldis that that is because I love
the work, right?
So what I just shared with youis so important.
You have to be delusivelyoptimistic.
You have to dream big, you haveto do all those things.
But, dude, I truly love thework.
I love getting up early, I lovereading books, I love personal
development.
I love working out and puttingmy mind and my body through
(11:04):
torture.
Like I love the way I feelafter, because I'm not living as
like, as a weak individual.
I'm strengthening myself everyday.
I love the sauna and the coldplunge because it's extreme and
it's hard.
Like 37 degree water, 200degree sauna Like that's hard,
it's difficult.
When I'm in those moments I feelalive because I'm not
comfortable and I'm notcomplacent and it's a catalyst
(11:25):
for growth.
I think differently, I getcreative.
I just have more energy.
I'm like, dude, I'm freakingalive right now.
Like you're talking, you'relistening to a guy who used to
have to do drugs to feel alive.
Like what a pathetic life.
Like you have to escape rightand alter your state that way
with these Artificial substancesto feel alive.
Dude, now I'm living so purelyand so authentically and in such
alignment that I feel alivemore than I can describe, more
(11:48):
so than any drug could ever dofor me.
For me to do drugs like cocaine, ecstasy, even acid, would be a
downgrade For most people to doreally extreme drugs would be
like a super upgrade.
You get all these endorphins, you just wouldn't care about
anything, you'd just have anawesome day that you get all
these endorphins, you justwouldn't care about anything,
you'd just have an awesome day.
That's why people drink right, because it lowers your
inhibitions and you can actuallyjust kind of for a second feel
like you have some confidence.
(12:09):
But it's false bravado, it'snot genuine.
That's the difference.
So for me, to do drugs would bea downgrade, because I'm at
such a high frequency byapplying these principles and
going after my dreams for thelast 13 years that every second
I get I cherish dude.
I love this life, I created thislife, I went all in for this
life and so, like you guys, likefor those of you who are
parents and you see your childborn for the first time, then
(12:30):
you get to raise them.
Then you get to impart yourvalues upon them.
You get to have thoseexperiences with them.
You fall in love with them overand over, each and every day.
You watch their little nuances, their unique personalities
develop, like you love them somuch.
They're yours, right, youcreated them, you've raised them
, they're an extension of you.
That's kind of like a good wayto describe how I feel about the
(12:52):
life I've been able to createin its entirety, like I
envisioned this life.
I prayed for this life and Iworked my ass off to create this
life.
I love this life because of theblood, sweat and tears I put
into it, because of the fears Ifaced, the adversity I overcame,
like getting up every day andgoing after it.
When you live that way, youcan't help but love and cherish
what you've created, and not ina way that's like egotistical
(13:13):
and like, hey, look at me, howcool I am.
In a genuine way where you'relike just so grateful to get to
live another day, where you'reso grateful in the morning when
you wake up, because you get todo what you love every day and
create a lifestyle around thosevalues, those beliefs, those
passions.
That's what I want for all ofyou guys is a life by design.
But you got to love the work inorder to get there.
(13:35):
You got to love doing the work, okay, Because if you don't,
you're going to make excuses.
When you're tired, when you'resick, when you're sore, when you
don't feel like it, you're notgoing to do it.
Dude, I love doing the work, because the work is when I start
to feel proud of myself.
Every day, when I go to the gymor get up early, I feel proud
of myself for that.
Every new book I finish like.
Every day, when I do all theright stuff that I know I need
(13:57):
to do to keep progressing, Istill get that feeling of like
damn, sean, you're doing it.
And that feeling of feelingproud of yourself, loving
yourself.
It's a catalyst for success.
In everything you do, you'll bea more devoted husband or wife,
you'll be a better parent, you'll be better in your career,
you'll be better around youremployees or team members.
You'll just be a better versionof yourself and it's infectious
(14:17):
for those that get to getaround you.
The fifth reason why I have anedge on the world because I had
extremely high standards.
You guys, it doesn't matter ifI'm doing these videos.
It doesn't matter if any of youever saw what I did.
Ever again I'd be lean, I'd beshredded, I'd be disciplined.
I have such high standards formyself that I can't do that to
me, like I can't fucking cheat.
You know what I mean.
I can't just let myself coast.
(14:38):
I can't let myself live asecond, as an inferior version
of the man that I know I can be.
You know why?
Because I did that for 23 yearsand it led to so much pain and
so much regret, remorse, and Ihad to sit in that pain for
eight months in the county jailawaiting my fate before I ended
up going to prison.
And I remember every day justsitting there going why didn't
you try harder?
Why didn't you give more effort?
(14:59):
Why didn't you go after yourgoals?
Why did you make excuses?
Why do you hang out with thosekids?
Why did you stay drunk for 20years?
Why did you become like yourdad?
Like those thoughts and thattruth freaking tortured me to
death.
And it also became the mostpowerful catalyst and fire
that's just burning inside myheart and soul to this day to
change right, like I took thatpain and I've utilized it every
(15:23):
day to move forward towards ameaningful life.
And I still got a chip on myshoulder, and it's a good chip.
It's never going away becauseit reminds me of how precious
this life is and how importantevery little decision we make
truly is.
And that's what leads to mysixth reason for having an edge
on most people in this worldright, not everybody.
I'm not like dude, I'm notfreaking better than anybody, I
(15:45):
just care more and I try harder.
And my sixth reason why I havean edge is because I'm truly
grateful.
And everything I just expressedto you derives from my
experience going to prison andthinking that my life was over.
I was just close to losing mylife and God gave me a second
chance and I was spared man.
After doing over 2,000 days inprison, I got to come home and
seek redemption and live theultimate life.
(16:06):
And that's why I'm sober andthat's why I'm passionate and
that's why I love my family andtake care of them, and that's
why I'm all in on my goals andmy dreams.
That's why I said my kids arethe best school in town, the
best private school.
I don't care how much money itcosts.
It's their lives, right?
Their education, the communitythat they're brought up in.
That's why I go all into mydreams and get my business to a
level where I can not only maketons of money but change
(16:27):
billions of people's lives.
That's the goal, right?
Loft, right, Lofty goals.
But guess what?
I'm a dreamer and in order toget to that level, you have to
be delusionally optimistic, right, you have to not care what
anyone thinks or says about you.
You can never operate from fearand doubt and you better love
the work, because the work iswhat builds the empire.
Right?
But if you're getting up eachand every day and you forget why
you started, or you don't havethat heart full of gratitude
(16:49):
just for what you have right now, it's going to hinder you.
Here's the thing.
Ed Milet first said this and Ilove it Be delusionally I'm
sorry, that was what I saidblissfully dissatisfied.
What that means is you're notcontent, like you're not going
to stop growing, progressing, doing the work, evolving, but
you're so freaking grateful forwhere you're at.
And a good way to alwaysmaintain that level of gratitude
(17:11):
in your heart is measurebackwards.
And a good way to alwaysmaintain that level of gratitude
in your heart is measurebackwards.
There's a great book called theGap in the Gain, and I believe
it's by Dr Benjamin Hardy.
The Gap in the Gain refers tolike how most people always
think about where they want togo in life and what they want,
and they're not there yet.
So it steals their joy.
It makes them feel less thanand that's such a horrible way
to measure your growth or yourprogress.
Measure backwards, rememberwhere you were when you started
(17:34):
and you made the decision tolose the weight, to change your
career, to get on a better path.
Whatever that decision was, look how far you've come, see.
I constantly do this and that'swhy I talk about prison a lot,
because it puts things inperspective as to where I'm at
today.
Four kids later, beautiful wifelater, dream home later, like
(17:54):
the career that I get to changepeople's lives and live out my
passion every day.
That's my career.
Like dude, I am so blessed LikeI hit the freaking lottery man.
If you look at my life now, like I told you, though, I
remember where I come from andI'm just getting started.
Imagine and I'm just tellingyou this, imagine we'll be in
five years if I never quit.
Imagine we'll be in 10 years ifI never quit.
Like God, put it on my heart tochange the world.
I don't just say those wordslightly, that is what's on my
(18:16):
heart.
That's why I'm building acoaching program that can change
men's lives, get them sober, get them fit, help them to build
the right habits, help them tobe a better husband, a better
father, like I love seeing myguys change their lives and take
control, because there's aripple effect that spreads into
everything that they do.
Now we're not just changing onelife or changing 10 by
impacting one individual right.
(18:36):
And so I feel so blessed, youguys, I feel so blessed.
The key is to be blissfullydissatisfied, like I said,
meaning you're so grateful forwhere you're at and how far
you've come, but it doesn't meanyou're not going to get up
early tomorrow and do the workbecause you love the work.
Right, that's successful people, entrepreneurs, business owners
, the people that you see thatreach the top.
They love the work.
(18:57):
Like, for me, I don't work outbecause I want to just be fit.
I love working out, I lovepushing weight, I love getting
my heart rate up, I love justpushing through some difficult
every day to start the day.
Like, I truly love that.
And and like I said earlier, Iwould be doing this every day
even if there was like sixpeople on the planet.
No one ever saw me.
In fact, I did this for fiveand a half years in prison when
(19:17):
I didn't have a phone, when Ididn't have social media, when I
didn't have a business before Ihad my family, no coach around
to tell me what to do.
No oversight.
It was me versus me every dayin that cell.
Are you going to get up, sean, and do the work?
Are you going to do yourpushups, your burpees?
Are you going to read your book?
Are you going to study?
Are you going to take yourcollege courses?
Like it was up to me, and thatwas so good for me to be in that
(19:37):
situation, because I developeda level of commitment and
discipline and, like I told you, those standards about who I
want to be that have beeningrained into my consciousness,
man, my psyche, it's, it's acore belief that I live by.
So, you guys, I want you tolive the ultimate life, man, and
if you can apply one of thoseTraits that I just shared with
you, one of thosecharacteristics, you'll have an
(20:00):
edge on the world.
If you can apply all six, you'll be unstoppable, and
that's what I want for you.
So do me a favor.
Comment below.
Let me know how this videoimpacted you.
What are you working on in yourlife?
What are your goals?
I want to hear from you, guys.
I hope you have a blessed restof your day, all right.
