๐ŸŽง ๐ŸŽ™ ๐Ÿ‘ We are thrilled to bring you this next episode of SEE Change with special guest, Nora LaTorre. Nora is the CEO of Eat Real Certified, a non-profit dedicated to fixing the food system for children and the planet. Click here to download:

Nora is on a mission to make food, delicious, nutritious, and good for the planet through the US public school system. Many people don't realize that public schools are the largest restaurant chain in America serving over seven billion meals a year. Unfortunately, 67% of kidsโ€™ calories are ultra-processed calories which are having a negative effect on their physical and mental health.ย

The good news is that schools can move the food system away from being ultra-processed and sugary to being delicious, healthier, and more sustainable for the planet. She believes upgrading our food system for the benefit of our children is the cause of our lifetimes and something that she and the team at Eat Real are dedicated to help change. Nora shares examples of how real food can boost childrenโ€™s mental health, support studentsโ€™ athletic dreams as well as academic performance, and truly nourish the future.ย

This is an issue that affects us all in one way or another. The good news is that Eat Real has created solutions that are gaining traction and being implemented across the country. And by tackling this upstream at the root cause, their model is creating a ripple effect of good for children, schools, communities, and the planet. ๐ŸŒ ๐Ÿง’ ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿซ

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

Itโ€™s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off Americaโ€™s third largest cash heist. But itโ€™s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular โ€˜ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
