Have you ever sat down with your Bible and thought, “I don’t get it”? You’re not alone. The Bible is a spiritual book, which means we can’t just read it in our own strength—we need the Holy Spirit.
In this episode, I walk you through how I personally approach Scripture: starting with prayer (2 Timothy 2:7), depending on the Spirit for understanding, and keeping Jesus at the center of it all (Colossians 1:16–17).
We’ll also talk about why reading spiritually matters (1 Corinthians 2:14) and I’ll share some of my favorite tools and resources that make studying easier.
As you listen, I want you to ask yourself:
Where do I see Jesus in this passage?
What does this show me about God’s character and desire?
Is there something He’s calling me to obey?
This isn’t about checking off a box—it’s about truly meeting God in His Word.
