If you do not prioritize slowness for you and your family in the Christmas season, no one will. With so many wonderful opportunities to good things at this time of year, it is so easy to slip into the busy "hustle and bustle" and miss the opportunity for the hearts in our homes to "prepare Him room".
My good friend Michelle Akrami is back with me for this conversation. Michelle lives a very full life in southern CA with her husband and their 5 children. Yet with all of the blessings that come with living in such a busy place with so many people in her home, she continues to grow in the discipline of choosing slowness as she sets priorities for their family.
