En el Libro del Apocalipsis, Jesús dicta a San Juan cartas a 7 iglesias en Asia. En cinco de ellas, regañó a las iglesias.
Éfeso es la primera iglesia en ser regañada. ¿Por qué Éfeso? Era la iglesia principal de la zona (lo que hoy es Turquía) y San Juan era el obispo o supervisor de las siete iglesias….
