motivational speaker.
Hello and welcome to day zeroof my Zen Cleanse detox journey.
(02:21):
So I have heard about ZenCleanse for a couple of years
now.
A few of my close friends havedone it before and I was always
like, oh, it sounds amazing, butit's quite an investment.
And, yeah, maybe it would bebetter for me to actually work
with a naturopath and havesomething really tailored for
myself, but I've never gottenaround to actually doing that.
(02:43):
And also now feels like areally good time for me to take
the plunge into doing Zencleanse, which I'll explain a
little bit more about in amoment.
But I've gone through a hugetransition since moving back to
my hometown in 2022.
And I've also really regained alot of my strength.
(03:08):
So the last two months I'vebeen doing a challenge with BFT,
body fit training gym, so itwas a.
I chose to do it at BFT becauseI was at a Pilates studio for a
couple of years and just notfinding that I was getting
results in a way that body fatwasn't shifting, my heart rate
(03:31):
wasn't going up, I wasn'tgaining or creating more lean
muscle mass, and so I waslearning more and more about how
important weightlifting is forwomen, especially over 40.
So building muscle to supportour joints as we get older and
our bone density and also ourheart health.
(03:52):
So through cardio, getting ourheart rate up, which is actually
burning fat, which gets harderto burn as you get older as well
.
And I was like, right, thisPilates thing is just not
working and I'm ready to take aleap into doing something and I
always find a challenge gives methat extra push.
So having the community, theaccountability to do it.
(04:16):
The other thing I loved aboutdoing the BFT challenge so they
have alternative days betweencardio, which is high, high reps
, getting the heart rate up,high intensity interval training
, and then on the other daysthey would do weight lift,
weight training or weightlifting.
So finding the heaviest weightthat you can do for like six to
(04:40):
eight reps, and I just lovedthat mix of it and really
feeling in my body.
So it was eight weeks.
Tomorrow's actually my lastclass.
But the first week was I gotreally excited and really into
it and went way too hard.
And something cool they also dois you wear a heart rate
(05:02):
monitor so and it's up on thescreen with everyone else's and
then different exercises saywhich heart rate range to be in.
So either 70 to 80%, 80 to 90%and ideally not much over 90%,
because that's when you'rereally out of breath.
So the thing I liked about thatwas I tend to go way too hard
(05:24):
sometimes and think that I'm notgoing hard enough.
So then being able to actuallysee my heart rate and go okay
Prue, you can actually just takea step back now, bring your
heart rate back down and thencontinue and do the next
exercise.
But the first week I didn't haveit and went way too hard and
(05:45):
burnt myself out and then Iactually I get this thing where
I get a bit sick.
So firstly I get reallyirritable after training and
then if I don't eat enough foodwhich I didn't realize how much
I should actually be eating whenI'm training I've now learnt my
lesson around that, but I needto be eating a lot more and more
(06:06):
regularly and a lot moreprotein as well.
So the second week I was prettysick and then the third week I
was running the Elevate personalbranding retreat.
I did go on the first day ofthe retreat and then after the
retreat I couldn't go.
I just needed to ground myselfagain after the high vibration
(06:27):
and transformational energy thathappened there, which I'm going
to record a podcast oneventually as well.
I did record it the other day20 minutes of it to realize that
my microphone was on mute, sothat was very annoying, and then
have gone back into a goodroutine of training the last few
weeks.
So this week I've been fourtimes already and tomorrow is
(06:52):
actually the last class.
The other great thing I lovedabout the challenge is it has
its own app so you can actuallytrack your workouts, how many
calories you've burnt, what yourheart rate went up to, and then
you can actually get a gold, silver or bronze award and
you're actually competingagainst everyone in the
(07:13):
community.
So I think there's a prize ifyou, you know if you hit all
your goals as well, which Ithink is really good.
Like I'm quite a competitiveperson, so that really gives me
that extra push that I need, andthere's meal plans in there, so
I love a good meal plan, thinking of something to cook
(07:33):
seven nights a week or fivenights a week, it's just
draining.
So we actually have a prettygood setup, which I should
probably do a podcast episode onand how a meal plan.
But anyway, the meals that wereincluded in the challenge, I
would kind of look at them asbeing a little bit unhealthy.
(07:54):
So there was things like cheeseand bread and that kind of
stuff in there and I was likeyou know what?
I'm just going to follow it andgo with it and it sounds really
yummy and the great thing is my14 year old daughter loved it
and my partner loved it too andthey actually liked making the
recipes.
So I saved them in my recipemeal planning app, which is
called plan to eat.
I've been using it for over 10years now and I'll pop a
(08:18):
referral link in the in the shownotes for that.
The thing, thing I love aboutthat I'm getting a bit
sidetracked here, but I getexcited about this stuff.
The thing I love about plan toeat I used to use it when it was
just a desktop um program andthen iPhones came out and they
had an app but you can save allyour recipes in there and you
(08:42):
used to have to type them in,but then they created a thing
where you could just paste alink to a recipe website and it
would put it all in there andthen you just drag and drop it
into the week meal planner.
So sundays I usually spend anhour with the family and go okay
, everyone pick two meals each,we'll drag and drop it in there.
(09:03):
I put in a few of my lunchrecipes and basic things.
All the ingredients from allthe recipes go into the shopping
list.
I can go to the cupboard and goright, got that, got that.
Tick it all off and then I putmy Woolworths order in online so
I can get delivered the nextday, because I really don't like
(09:23):
going to supermarkets.
I'm not promoting Woolworthseither, but it is an easy way
right now.
And then I do all my fruit andveg shopping and meat locally as
well to support local farmersand also just eat fruit and veg
that's growing on the land withthe energy that I'm living on as
well as well as supportinglocal businesses.
(09:44):
So it's usually only packagedfoods and bulk things that I'm
living on as well as well assupporting local businesses.
So it's usually only packagedfoods and bulk things that I get
online from Woolworths Now backto.
So the challenge has been great.
I feel so much stronger, clearer, I feel fit, but the one
thing that I am not feeling islike my insides don't feel clean
(10:08):
and cleansed.
So I've done the two monthchallenge and now I'm like all
right, I'm ready to just do areally good cleanse and detox of
my internal body system.
On top of that, for seven yearsI have known there's something
else that I've wanted to do inthe world.
The last four years nearly fiveyears now I have been coaching
(10:33):
photographers, creatives,consultants, thought leaders on
their business, on personaldevelopment and around their
personal brand, and I haven'tfully stepped in that.
I've been playing small andstaying safe, offering my
photography because I know I'mreally good at that.
It's easy for me to sellbecause it's like here's what I
(10:53):
can create for you, and a lot ofit is word of mouth.
So people are seeing theirfriends have great photos and
their businesses growing fromthem and that.
But I have found coaching alittle bit harder to promote and
talk about.
So that has been a challenge.
And after running the ElevatePersonal Branding Retreat and
(11:14):
taking 12 women through my fourstage process, which is
enhancing your connection toyour higher self on day one,
evolving your mindset into yourfuture self and who you want to
be and what you're creating foryour life, your business, your
family, to embodying that at acellular level, like physically
(11:35):
having that deep self-belief andembodying it and then emerging
confidently to be seen and heard.
So that was with your newmarketing messaging and new
photos as well.
So I've been taking peoplethrough that process through
either my three month coachingprogram and actually doing it at
(11:56):
the retreat and seeing theresults.
When it's in a container andwith people being able to be raw
, vulnerable, but also beingmirrored back.
Their wisdom, their power andbeing in a really supportive
space was profound.
Like the shifts were huge, there were tears, there was.
(12:19):
We all left on an absolute highand, since the retreat, catching
up with people and hearing whatthose energy shifts have opened
up to them in the space inregards to, like opportunities,
abundance.
So new clients, new business, new ideas, bigger visions,
bigger missions is profound.
(12:42):
So one of them is you know, hernew mission is to end
homelessness for women by 2030.
Someone else, in the firstseven days of leaving the
retreat got six new inquiries, two clients booked in and a
partnership offer that shewanted for the last four years
and she previously would getabout three inquiries a month.
(13:04):
So huge shifts there and that'sjust really made space for me
to go right.
I'm ready to do this on a wholenew level.
So I will be running theretreat again but also really
pushing more to do off of mycoaching because I can see the
results that are happening, andalso launching my group coaching
(13:29):
program slash membership, because when I've done programs
before I found when we get tothe end of the 12 weeks with a
group of people, half the peopledon't want to leave and don't
want it to end.
So it will probably be arolling membership called Evolve
, so watch out for that Anyway.
(13:49):
So after all these shifts sodoing the fitness challenge now
stepping into really owning thecoaching and mentoring and the
transformations that I takepeople through, the coaching and
mentoring and thetransformations that I take
people through I'm ready to justlet go of a lot of shit in my
(14:12):
body.
So my whole life I have carriedweight around my abdomen and it
doesn't matter how fit andstrong and flexible or how much
exercise I do, it doesn't budgeand energetically.
I feel like it is my shield,it's my protection mechanism.
But I'm safe now.
I don't need this anymore.
(14:32):
It's time to let it go.
It comes from, probably when Iwas two, my mom leaving me and
moving to the UK for a couple ofyears.
Then she came back andkidnapped me and my life was
very, very turbulent and Ididn't feel safe.
I didn't feel seen and heard, which is why this podcast is
also called Seen and Heard.
(14:53):
But on top of that, my dad alsoused to call me tubby and that
was throughout my childhood, sohe would like poke and prod my
stomach.
My grandma used to say, oh,prue's like a human garbage
disposal unit.
Um, it was a guy disposal unit.
(15:13):
Like she loved it that I ateeverything.
But it was a really big thingat family gatherings that it's
okay, prue will eat everything.
So you so you know that stuffgets ingrained and creates this
insecurity as well.
My dad actually called me tubbyup until the age of 25 when I
(15:33):
met my daughter's dad and tookhim around for to meet my dad.
And yeah, he called me tubby infront of my new boyfriend.
So I forgive him, he only knewwhat he knew and tried to do his
best that he could with what heknew how to Um, and he passed
away a year later when I waseight months pregnant.
(15:56):
So anyway, there's a lot inthere, but I feel like it's time
to really let go of thatprotection that's happening on
my stomach, because I am safe.
I've got this, I've got abeautiful partner, I've got my
(16:18):
own family.
Now I'm secure in my business.
Um.
So a part of this detox of Zencleanse is it is a seven day
detox cleanse and the firstcouple of days is about cleaning
your intestinal tract on awhole new level.
So your intestinal, your smallintestine, is what absorbs all
(16:40):
your nutrients and minerals, andso if you've got buildup in
there, you're probably notgetting all the nutrients from
your food.
So the first few daysapparently clears that out.
It clears the mucoid plaquethat builds up on the walls of
your intestines as well.
So think about the plaque thatyou get on your teeth and you go
to the dentist and they cleanit off.
(17:01):
Well, I know I have.
I don't know if everyone elsehas, so it actually apparently
you'll hear about it because I'mplanning on sharing a um,
sharing this journey with you.
Apparently, there's a builderon the walls and it will be
cleared out.
And then the next few days isworking on your gallbladder,
(17:23):
your spleen and then your liver.
I know personally, through workthat I've done on myself in the
past, that I've had problemswith my liver.
Um, I was from a parasite thatI had years ago for over a year,
and um, it really affected mylife and had chronic fatigue and
all sorts of stuff, but also alot of fear and anger gets stuck
(17:48):
in the liver.
So it'll be really interestingwhat those days look like when
those emotions are beingreleased and it's being
detoxified.
Apparently it also clears outyour gallstones.
I'll be sharing it with you asI go.
(18:11):
So finding time to commit to aseven day detox or cleanse can
be quite tricky, especially thistime of year.
Christmas is in like three orfour weeks three weeks, I think
so there's a lot of events onand gatherings and things, and
I've actually just been a littlebit non-committal because I've
been showing up for a lot thisyear.
(18:33):
So I was meant to do a photoshoot next week and I've luckily
pushed it back to the followingweek, so I'm going to start
tomorrow, which is a Saturday.
Um, I know from previouscleanses which I've never done
anything like this before.
I um, I know day two and threewere the hardest days, so day
(18:54):
three will be Monday, um, andI'm hoping by day four I'll have
a bit more clarity as well.
So making sure that my calendarwas clear was one of the first
things I had to do to prepare.
I'll probably put anautoresponder on, maybe, or just
let people know and be honestwith what I'm doing and also my
(19:18):
mindset like it's.
It's like I've been lettingmyself know that there is going
to be a lot of clearing emotionscoming up as well through this
and making sure that I don't I'mnot don't have anything big
ahead of myself and remindingmyself okay, stuff's going to
(19:38):
come up old fears, old storiesthat are no longer serving me
and I've let a few friends knowand just go.
Can you be on call for when Ifeel like I might die and this
bullshit starts coming up andjust remind me to keep going as
well?
I've also let my partner and mydaughter know to probably just
(19:59):
steer clear from me and, yeah, Imight not be the kindest,
friendliest, happiest person forthe first few days Anyway, who
knows.
But I will be keeping youposted by recording a little
diary entry each day, um.
(20:20):
So there's also been a lot ofresistance and fears come up,
which I mentioned before, butI'm ready to do this on so many
levels mentally, spiritually,physically.
The other thing is, like youknow, the whole mind, stomach,
brain, stomach connection andthe fog and the tiredness that
(20:40):
we can experience if we've gotstuff blocked up in our gut as
well.
So, from the testimonials thatI've read about, it apparently
just clears you out and allowsthat connection to your higher
self and so much more clarityand just brightness to your
energy and being open.
(21:00):
So I'm really looking forwardto doing that.
My big intention is to reallyjust let go of physical toxins,
like just baggage emotionallyand physically that are just
stuck in my body, and just let'sjust get it out, get clear on
the inside, so I can feelenergized and aligned and ready
(21:24):
for 2025 as well.
So a few of the other thingsyou're meant to fast through
this.
So everything in the kit isincluded.
So I'll talk about thedifferent things that are in the
kit as I take them each day andyou can have, um, raw juices
(21:47):
and it's all about likefermented foods.
Um, so apparently it's based onChina, traditional Chinese
medicine and herbs and tonicsand um fermented enzymes and
stuff.
So I don't know a lot of thedetails about it, but I'm
(22:09):
excited and it feels right andready.
Also, something else I want totouch on about it is you know,
it was quite an investment to doit's.
I think it's around $750 US,around 900 to a thousand dollars
, australian, um, australian.
So that put me off for a longtime, like that's like a lot of
(22:31):
money for a seven day cleansedetox where I could go and see a
professional to get this help.
Um, but anyway, I've taken theplunge, I've invested in it.
I've also invested to be anaffiliate because I'm going to
be sharing this through mypodcast and social media
channels, because I believe itwould be really good for people
(22:53):
in my network who have big stuffthat they want to work on in
the world, and you know they canwork on their mindset, they can
have great photos, but alsoworking on the inside and
clearing that out.
So that's why I want to sharethis journey.
The other thing, secretly thatI'm excited about is this I
don't have to do any mealplanning this week.
I don't have to do any foodshopping or cooking or cleaning
(23:17):
the kitchen.
So, and also I can't commit togoing out, so I'm probably
saving about $200 by doing thiscleanse as well, and I've left
it over to my daughter and mypartner to take care of their
food and meals for the week, andI'll pop a link in the show
(23:39):
notes, um, so you can check outthe Zen cleanse as well.
And I do need to mentionsomething super important, as I
share this journey with you andalso as an affiliate, that the
products, information andresources that I'm discussing

illness or disease.
So make sure to consult yourdoctor or healthcare
professional with questionsabout diseases and medical
(24:26):
matters as well.
So I'm excited to share thisjourney with you.
I know some days are going toprobably be really tough to show
up and they may only be twominute episodes, but anyway, I'm
off to bed and I look forwardto seeing what unfolds over the
next seven days.
