Aug, 18, 2025: Fans aplenty as Müller's moment missed, Lions' roar returns

After a huge weekend for both teams inside BC Place, there's so much for Matt and Blake to unpack today! They get into a sold out lower bowl match for the Whitecaps as Thomas Müller makes a 2nd half debut and nearly scores the game winner. They go over the atmosphere, the performance on the pitch, and whether it's reasonable to think he could help them win an MLS Cup. The guys also get into some hockey, as Luke Hughes remains unsigned in New Jersey, and begin to dream of a massive overpay to re-unite Luke and Quinn via trade. Patrick Johnston of Postmedia stops by for a chat on the Müller arrival and how he thinks it's gone so far, both on and off the pitch. PJ also weighs in on the neverending search for a Canucks 2nd line centre, and on the far fetched idea of the Canucks acquiring Luke Hughes rather than the other way around. Then it's Whitecaps legend and current club liason Bob Lenarduzzi on the historic debut of Müller and the comparisons he sees of the German to Whitecaps of yesteryear. Bob gets into the fit on the roster, and how he'll adapt to MLS and different level of play from his former global powerhouse at Bayern Munich.
