‘My perspective of the past was really focused on all the negative things that happened to me, so much it was really hard to remember any of the good things. And the same with most women who come and work with me who have experienced trauma find it really tricky to remember good things in childhood. So, your perspective and your reality is so focused on the negative things that we forget the most beautiful moments that brought us joy and happiness. Going through the healing process allows you to look back with a completely different perspective finding all of the things you love to do and maybe reconnecting to those now in adult life and bringing those back in now.’ ~ Stacey Hardy

Stacey Hardy is a remarkable soul who this week shares her journey of overcoming trauma and abuse and how she learned to embrace the healing process which involved working with a Coach focusing on emotional and physical well-being. Stacey shares the importance of people feeling safe and understanding the healing process, as well as looking beyond external factors to address the root causes of trauma. Stacey explains powerfully the individual nature of healing journeys and the importance of following one’s intuition in seeking help.

Stacey is a Holistic Mastery Coach, Mentor and Author dedicated to helping Women reclaim their lives from the impact of emotional trauma. From a very young age, Stacey had suffered from significant emotional pain from unresolved physical & emotional trauma. She struggled throughout life with unexplained physical and neurological symptoms and spent years trying to find the answers that would help her heal.

Her breaking point came at 40, with a diagnosis of Functional Neurological Disorder and more than 20 brain lesions. Her mind had enough and started to shut down her body. She was told that her condition was her new reality, and that there was nothing more they could do to help, but deep inside, she refused to accept it. This was her turning point. She began devouring knowledge about nutrition, gut health, emotional trauma, physical anatomy, neuroplasticity, quantum healing and so much more. As she widened the doorways in her home to prepare for life in a wheelchair, she was also widening the doorways of her mind, stepping into an internal renovation that changed everything. She discovered her own power. Stacey made the brave decision to invest in herself and in her Mentor who guided her so beautifully as she transformed her life and began healing from the past. For the first time, she felt like it was ok to love and reconnect to herself. As she felt safe enough to begin healing from emotional trauma, she noticed her body began healing at the same time. This inspired her to study and become a Master Practitioner of NLP, Time Line Therapy® & Advanced Hypnotherapy, where she continued her powerful healing journey. Stacey has made a promise to herself to never stop learning, and is continually studying, training and writing her own books to help others. Fast forward to today. Today, Stacey is the Coach and Mentor she wishes she had during her darkest days; she became the woman that she needed most. She has overcome many challenges and obstacles, rewired her brain, transformed her life and living free from past physical & mental illness. As a Holistic Mastery Coach and Women’s Self-Reconnection Mentor, Stacey draws from her own journey of healing and inspires women to find their own inner strength to begin their healing process. Her story is living proof that no matter how lost or broken you feel, there is a way forward.

Her definition of self-love is respecting my body, respecting who I am in all the ways soul, mind and heart. And honouring that in some way every day.

Her favourite quote is: Invest in yourself, you are worth it.

Quotes: I created so many false beliefs about myself. Everyone is so different. It is important to focus less on the event and more about the emotions at the time. No one experiences the same life as you. Before the healing begins one has to be ready to look at it all head on. I became a victim of my circumstances. Find someone you feel really comfortable with to heal. Listen to your body it holds so many answers and is giving you feedback all the time. There is no destination to healing. I felt like I was bringing back pieces of me I thought had gone. The power is releasing this trauma from the body. I completely transformed my life and now help women do the same. Investing in yourself is the biggest and best thing you could do. We have a choice in every moment of eve
