Ever feel lost when facing life's complex problems? The truth is you already possess everything you need to navigate any challenge with confidence. In this episode of the Self-Realized, Shatter Your Limits Podcast, join me, Linton Bergsen, as you explore how your internal compass—intuition, wisdom, and common sense—can help you make better decisions, and approach life’s complexities with clarity and courage. These three keys aren’t mystical secrets or skills requiring special training. They are innate abilities you can begin developing today to empower yourself and embrace self-reliance.

The first key, intuition, serves as your personalized divine guidance system. Many of us experience intuitive nudges but often dismiss them when they contradict logic or conventional wisdom. This inner voice speaks uniquely to you, regardless of your religious or spiritual background. Developing intuition requires creating moments of stillness and silence—a counterbalance to our hyper-connected world. By learning to trust your intuition, you unlock a powerful tool for navigating life’s challenges.

The second key is wisdom, which transforms intuitive insights into practical action. Wisdom encourages alignment between your potential actions and deeper values through careful introspection. Rather than reacting impulsively, wisdom advocates testing intuitive guidance through small, deliberate steps. This balanced approach prevents both ignoring your intuition and acting on it without appropriate discernment. Wisdom helps ensure your decisions are thoughtful and aligned with your long-term goals.

The third key, common sense, grounds your decision-making in practical reality. In a world filled with uncertainty, common sense acts as a stabilizer, evaluating whether choices make fundamental sense regardless of emotional pulls. It helps you recognize patterns from past experiences and apply those lessons to current situations. Common sense ensures that your decisions are not only practical but also realistic and actionable.

When intuition, wisdom, and common sense work in harmony, they form a powerful formula for navigating life’s complexities with clarity, courage, and confidence. This approach fundamentally differs from decision-making based solely on external factors or emotional reactions. By recognizing yourself as your most valuable resource, you shift from dependency to empowered self-reliance. As Shakespeare wisely noted, "To thine own self be true" is perhaps the most profound foundation for mastering life's challenges.

Linton Bergsen (00:01):
Welcome to the Self-Realized Podcast with
Linton Bergsen, where you willshatter your limits.
I am not much into theself-help industry as much as
I'm into the self-realizedindividual, which is you, what
matters most to you, how you getthere and the obstacles that
may be in your way.
If you would like to be part ofthis podcast and part of that

(00:22):
discussion, I welcome you herewith an open heart, open mind
and open arms.
So, without further ado, let'sget on with the podcast.
I really do appreciate yougiving me your time and energy

(00:47):
to join me on episode number 99,Three Practical Keys For
Problem Solving Everyd ay.
Isn't that essentially what youwould like to have in your life
?
Practical, everyday keys tounlock the doors that need to be
opened by you for yourfinancial freedom, your health,

(01:07):
your peace of mind, yourwell-being all the attributes
that we all need to feel good inour lives.
The three practical keys I'mgoing to give you today are
portable.
You already have them.
You may have to develop themfurther, but you already have
them.
They are innate, they arewithin you and they give you the

(01:30):
ability to make decisions andproblem solve with clarity,
courage and confidence.
And you need all of those threein order to make effective
decisions and execute them inthe right way, consistently.
The first key that I'm going togive you is one that I speak

(01:54):
about a lot in all of theepisodes of the Self-Realized
Shatter Limits Podcast, becauseit is fundamentally the
foundation of who you are andwhat it is that you're going to
access to become a completeself-realized individual.
It is intuition, theself-realized individual

(02:20):
encompasses the inner journey, that inner light, that inner
voice, that inner guidingcurrent of energy within you,
that is telling you and guidingyou, no matter what situation
you find yourself in, of what todo, how to do it and when to do
it.
It is a profound voice.
When I say to you in thisepisode that this is the single

(02:45):
most critical skill and it is askill to develop in your life as
a self-realized individual, Icannot emphasize that enough.
Why?
Because so many people havethis intuitive sense but are not
listening to it, are scared ofit to a point that, because it's

(03:08):
not logical, they don't want toact on it.
But when you come to problemsolving, when you come to
guidance, when you come todivine guidance, when you come
to divine understanding, whichis the journey of the
self-realized individual, theyunderstand that there is a
divine understanding, which isthe journey of the self-realized
individual.
They understand that there is adivine understanding, a divine

(03:30):
energy in their life that is theparamount focus for them to
make their decisions from.
Because the self-realizedindividual which you are,
because you've experienced thisyourself, knows there is
something talking to them, theirinner voice.
The number one key to unlockingthe door to correct problem

(03:51):
solving and practical problemsolving is listen and develop
your intuition, that inner voice.
You need to develop it becauseit requires you to be still and
silent and have solitude tolisten to that voice.
When you begin to listen tothat voice, it is going to defy

(04:11):
logic.
It will make suggestions to youthat may not make sense to you
from your reasoning, part ofyour being, your brain and who
you are.
Don't dismiss it because theinformation you're being given,
which you will feel verystrongly about, is not logical.
Move forward with courage withthe next key I'm going to give

(04:36):
you in problem solving, and it'sa very important key, very
practical.
It is within you, just begin toexercise it and work with it
more if you are not already .
Once you've had the intuition, use some wisdom.
Don't just act without sometype of wisdom behind your

(04:58):
actions.
If you're going to listen toyour intuition and it's guiding
you in a way that you feel youneed to go but doesn't match
your reason or logic or what itis that people around you may
think you need to do, you'regoing to have to sit down and do
some inner reflection, which, again, is very, very important.

(05:20):
That self-analysis, thatawareness of self, that
introspection that goes alongwith correct problem solving and
decision making.
When you are doingintrospection, reflecting upon
moving forward on certain things, make sure they match your
values, who you are, the goalsthat you have set for yourself,

(05:44):
and when you're satisfiedinternally that they do, then go
ahead and use your intuition, listen to it, introspect and
then move forward with wisdom.
What that means is that you'regoing to take some practical
steps to test out this intuitivesense that you've had.

(06:05):
It may be something you'vedecided to do that you haven't
done before, which is usuallywhat intuition is, and so wisdom
will tell you start small, begin to go out into the world
and test your intuitive sense, your intuitive guidance.

(06:28):
For example, let's say you wereout somewhere and you were in a
situation that you needed help, but you didn't know how to
receive that help.
You may be in a group and youfelt something inside of you to
go and speak to an individualsitting down, or you overheard a
conversation they may be havingwith someone else.
Whatever the situation is, youmay not have met this individual
before, but something promptedyou inwardly to engage that

(06:52):
individual and start aconversation and share with them
what it is that you needed helpwith.
You can start in a small way byacting on that situation
intuitively and then, when youmeet the person and you speak
with them, use some wisdom as tohow much you disclose you don't

(07:13):
know them yet and how much youwant to share with them so that
they can help you.
And as you get to know thembetter and you feel you can
trust them, wisdom will tell youthat you can share a little bit
more.
So you have two keys nowworking in combination in that
example your intuition that said, go speak to that individual.
You're in a group setting andthat's what you decided to do.

(07:35):
You have the courage to do it,which I mentioned earlier.
You're going to have someadditional clarity, but also now
you're going to have to havesome confidence to act upon the
information you've received fromlistening to your intuition and
your wisdom.
So now you begin to bring thewhole picture together in the

(07:57):
three practical keys and theapplication of them with clarity
, courage and confidence.
Now we've talked aboutintuition and we've talked about
wisdom.
There also has to be anothercomponent in our everyday lives
that we can use to cement thiswhole thing together A solid

(08:22):
foundation.
You wouldn't build a house onsand, you wouldn't begin to
solve your problems or look atseeking advice that you felt
wasn't sound.
You would have to have sometype of foundation to act upon,
to make sure that what you'redoing is in fact, something that

(08:45):
you feel could work out foryour best.
That foundation, the third key,is common sense, and we need it
every day, ongoing, becausethere's so much uncertainty that
occurs in our lives, so muchfear, so much anxiety that goes
on on an ongoing basis, nomatter what's going on in the

(09:07):
world just every day.
Sometimes it's worse thanothers, sometimes it's less than
others, but we always have thissituation of problem solving in
front of us, moving forwardwith everything that we have
discussed today.
Using common sense is a verypowerful key for practical
problem solving.
If it doesn't make good commonsense to you, then don't do it.

(09:29):
Common sense is a very, veryimportant part of everyday life.
Contemplate on this for amoment.
If you think about a lot of thedecisions that you made in your
life and haven't worked outperhaps as well as you thought
they would, if you had appliedintuition, wisdom and common

(09:52):
sense as a formula to bringabout the outcomes that you'd
like to see in your life, helping you to take action with
clarity, courage and confidence, don't you feel that your life
could and would be in a betterplace than if you just reacted

(10:15):
in situations that you foundyourself in emotionally, that
you just relied on every outwardindicator and impulse to point
you in a direction that youneeded to go, what other people
were saying, and you were notrelying on your own inner

(10:35):
compass to tell you where youneed to go?
Essentially, that's whatintuition is.
It is your own inner compass, your own individualized,
personally assigned divine voice.
The voice that's speaking toyou in intuition is personally

(10:57):
assigned to you from a highersource, God, Cosmic
Consciousness.
Whatever you choose to believe, whatever religion you choose to
be a part of, it doesn't makeany difference, as I've
mentioned in previous episodes,if you're Hindu, Muslim, Jewish,
Christian, Buddhist, whateverspiritual or religious path

(11:20):
you're following is irrelevantbecause, essentially, the divine
energy, the divine source oflight, the divine compass that
you have been given, your truenorth compass, has been
allocated to you and has beenassigned to you from birth.
You're an individual and youhave an individual voice that is

(11:43):
speaking to you uniquely.
It is not speaking to anybodyelse, it is speaking to you.
So when you, as a self-realizedindividual, acknowledge the most
sacred part of your ownexistence is, first of all,
recognizing that you are indeeda divine being having a human
experience.

(12:04):
Then you separate yourself outfrom making the decisions in the
way most people would, becausewhen you understand you're a
divine being having a humanexperience, you internalize your
decision-making from anintuitive standpoint.
First you check in withyourself.
You say to yourself does thisfeel right?
You do some meditation, you dosome inner reflection, you

(12:35):
sanctify your inner being andthen you act because you are
making a sacred approach to yourlife.
You're making a spiritualapproach to your life, you are
acknowledging a presence, adivine presence assisting you in
your decisions.
And in that acknowledgement ofsomething bigger than yourself

(12:56):
working with you, you are goingto receive internal, intuitive
information when youspiritualize your life and you
spiritualize your decisionmaking.
It is very different than if youjust act from external forces
to make your decision what looksgood on the outside, how it
would appear to others, how itmay be received when you make it

(13:20):
from the internal forces thatare within you, then you begin
to look at how your lifeunravels and unfolds from the
value that you've put upon yourown power.
And when you put the value uponyour own power and your own

(13:47):
decision making and your innercompass, you begin to feel
inwardly fulfilled, inwardlyempowered.
And really, in this episode, what it is that I'm trying to
have you feel as a realizationwithin yourself and live is a
fulfilled life based upon makingthe right decision and problem

(14:10):
solving, with the keys that youhave to unlock the door to lead
you down the right pathway inyour life.
And in order for you to do that, my suggestion is that you
really begin to work inwardlyfirst, to see the results of

(14:31):
what you would like outwardlyyou would like outwardly.
When you really begin to ownthis on a very deep level, you

(14:52):
begin to understand that thereis nothing that can help you
more than you can help yourself.
You are your own most valuableresource.
It is a gift, it is a divine, sanctified gift that you have
the ability to improve yourknowing every day that every
decision you need to make, everything that happens in your

(15:14):
life you have the ability tosolve because you are your own
greatest resource.
Contemplate on that for amoment.
When you own that, is thereanything anyone can say to you
that you can or cannot do, thatyou could or could not go
through?

(15:35):
When you begin to own the keysto problem solving, which is
essentially going to determineall the choices you make in life
, from the place of intuition, wisdom and common sense, giving
you the ability to act withclarity, courage and confidence,

(15:57):
you have a formula that you canbegin to apply in everything
and anything you do that canonly give you one result.
All the experiments that yourun in life are because you are
following yourself, and the onlyway you can become

(16:20):
self-realized in life is runningexperiments that you set for
yourself.
So then you gain the wisdomfrom what you've learned from
those experiments that you setfor yourself intuitively and

(16:42):
then, finally, common sense willbegin to tell you that what you
did before in certainsituations, circumstances didn't
work, so you don't repeat them.
That is evolution, that isgrowth, that is transformation.
And once you are in ownershipof that formula for the keys for
your own personal development, you begin to understand

(17:06):
something very important.
Life is not what happens to you, the external events that are
going to go on no matter whatyou do, because you live on a
planet that you don't controlany of the external events.
Life is about what you do,about it internally, and

(17:29):
building that internalrelationship between yourself
and the spirit that designed andmade you is going to be the
most precious relationship, themost important relationship and
the most profound relationshipthat you could ever build and
develop.
Contemplate on this for a momentIf you decide not to build that

(17:53):
relationship, then who are youlistening to?
And when you have the answer tothat question, you will know
that your choice for making theright decisions and
problem-solving in your life isvery limited.
It really comes down to asimple quote from Shakespeare.

(18:15):
For those who are familiar withthis quote, to thine own self
be true.
You master that and the keys toyour life, to any door that you
choose to open, will berevealed.
I sincerely appreciate youlistening to the podcast.
