self-realized podcast with

the self-realized individual, which is you, what matters most
to you, how you get there, andthe obstacles that may be in
your way.
If you would like to be part ofthis podcast and part of that
(00:23):
discussion, I welcome you herewith an open heart, open mind,
and open mind.
So without further ado let'sget on with the podcast.
Let us start today's episodewith a question.
(00:46):
What if the power you have beenchasing was never outside of
you?
What if fulfillment was not aprize but a process, a layering,
unfolding, a remembering of allyou are?
Welcome to theSelf Realized, Shatter Your Limits
Podcast, episode number 118,Awakening the Fulfilled Soul,
(01:09):
Spiritual Power in Real Life.
I am Linton Bergsen, and inthis episode, we will be taking
a deep voyage beneath ordinarywisdom.
We'll peel back the layers ofambition, ego, love, pain,
resilience, faith.
What emerges from that is notjust a stronger self, but a soul
(01:34):
awakened, one that knows how touse both hands, one for
building and one for blessing.
Revealing a very simple truth.
Human power can move mountains.
Spiritual power moves hearts.
Real life is where they meetand where your fulfillment is
waiting.
(01:55):
Let's breathe, take a deepbreath together, and begin.
Let us start with the outermostlayer, the world of action,
achievement, and ambition.
This is where there is a lot ofpower and noise and movement.
It's what gets jobs, promotions, applause, everyday
(02:17):
things that we all aspire to ashuman beings.
It's where you're taught toask, how can I win?
What can I get?
And how far can I go?
This layer is obviously notbad.
Human power gets things done,it creates change, it solves
problems, it brings certainideas into form.
But when you choose to onlyfocus here, life can become a
(02:42):
race and sometimes exhilarating, often, however, draining.
For example, let's take Eric, arelentless entrepreneur that I
knew.
His energy electrified anyroom.
He builds, he sells, heoutpaced his rivals.
But one evening, in his emptyoffice, he wonders to himself,
(03:06):
as we all do at times, if Istop, what do I have left?
It is in that moment, it is inthat quiet time, there is a
call, the invitation for you todig deeper.
I'm going to give you anexercise.
It is called the surface reviewthat you can implement when you
(03:31):
are not listening to thepodcast.
My suggestion is that you listyour recent wins and your
losses, and how you feel whenyou read each entry.
Is your mood tied to theoutcomes, the results, or
something much deeper?
What did you gain through theprocess of each win and each
(03:56):
loss?
And how did it affect yourtransformation and your personal
development?
When you review the list, notice the emotional residue
that you are dealing with, thejoy, the emptiness, the tension
maybe.
Layer one in any transformationis self-awareness.
(04:18):
Do not judge what you'refeeling when you review your
list, just observe.
Let's take a look now at layernumber two of awakening the
fulfilled soul.
What I call the shadow.
Ego, fear, defense.
Underneath every achievementlies the layer of shadow.
(04:40):
Here dwells ego, insecurity, and old wounds.
Every human being carries thislayer, even the best intentioned
people.
This layer asksthis what if I am not enough? This is sometimes called imposter syndrome.
I had a client whose name wasLisa.
(05:17):
She was a very well-respectedleader who resented team
criticism.
Her authority mattered so muchbecause as a child, she felt she
was never heard.
Now, every disagreement reopensthat wound.
(05:38):
That subconscious shadow wasliving within her and was
triggered by her team.
Shadow is very subtle butextremely powerful and often
unexamined.
But only by moving through it,by addressing and seeing your
(05:58):
fears without shame, can yourise to the next layer?
I would like to give you anexercise now that you can use
when you have time that willhelp you move through any
shadows that you may have.
Write down two moments thisweek when you felt defensive,
(06:21):
threatened, or craving any typeof recognition.
Ask yourself this.
What old story does this touchwithin me?
What am I truly afraid of?
Sit quietly and then justbreathe into any discomfort,
(06:43):
inviting compassion foryourself, because shadow can
only dissolve through yourconscious awareness, your own
self-kindness, but never throughforce.
Let us take a look now at layernumber three in awakening the
(07:04):
fulfilled soul, using yourspiritual power in real life,
which is your inner voice thatallows you to align your life
with integrity.
Beyond shadow lies that deepvoice within, that intuitive
sense, that quiet voice that isspeaking to you.
(07:26):
The self-realized individual isalways aware of that intuitive
voice, that inner voice, thatguiding light that is the bridge
between your outer power andyour own soul's wisdom.
This is where fulfillmentwhispers to you through the
(07:46):
intuitive voice.
This voice does not shout, itdoesn't demand, it doesn't
shame.
Instead, it just nudges you.
Is this what matters?
Do you feel peace?
Who are you becoming?
For a moment I'm going to askyou to imagine Chloe, a public
(08:09):
speaker celebrated for hermotivational talks.
On stage Chloe felt very alive, but at home she was very quiet
and introspective.
The applause fades, and hersoul began to ask gentle yet
very persistent questions.
And she began writing in herjournal each morning.
(08:33):
She was not seeking externalvalidation.
She was seeking something nowmuch deeper.
An internal resonance with hersoul, with herself, which is the
deepest journey of theself-realized individual.
(08:55):
At this layer, you start actingnot just for results and
outcomes, but for meaning.
You begin to have a dialoguewith your soul.
And I'm going to give you anexercise that allows you to
(09:17):
begin that dialogue.
When you have time, find asilent moment and ask yourself
this question.
What am I seeking beneath allof my achievements?
What does fulfillment feel likein my body?
When do I act from love and notfear?
(09:41):
Then write the answers downwithout editing or judgment.
Read them aloud.
Feel their presence deep insideof you.
This dialogue is a key to yoursoul's awakening, giving you the
(10:02):
ability to use your spiritualpower in real life.
That leads us to layer numberfour.
The source of all power in yourlife is your spiritual power.
Spiritual power flows fromsomething much deeper than
(10:24):
personality or situations orcircumstances.
It's the felt sense ofconnection to purpose, to
others, and to something muchmore sacred beyond the self.
It manifests itself through asense of something unexplainable
(10:44):
in your life, a presence.
It manifests throughgenerosity, courage, and
compassion.
It is unfazed by any externalshifts, and it steadies you
through your storms in life.
This power shows up asforgiveness, devotion, humility,
(11:05):
and sometimes underestimated,creative inspiration.
Let me share the story with youof Mikhail, a hospice worker
who sits with dying patients.
His words are few.
His attention, however, isvast.
Many families say he brings apeaceful force, a rare grounding
(11:32):
that is real.
He doesn't try to fix things, but what he does is he allows
others to feel seen and held.
Spiritual power is not passive.
Many people make that mistake.
It infuses everything you do,multiplying the effects of your
(11:56):
many human talents.
It is strength with softness, ambition without aggression,
discipline with delight.
I would like to share anexercise with you now that you
can use when you have time.
It's called Accessing the Source.
(12:16):
It's a very, very simpleexercise, but very effective.
Each morning, place your handon your heart, then just breathe
until all the static, all thebusyness, all the restlessness
begins to fade.
Then ask yourself thisquestion.
What does the world need fromme that only I can give today
(12:41):
from my deepest truth?
Then commit your first actionof the day to this answer,
however small.
Let's move on now to layernumber five, bringing everything
together.
I call it the intertwining, conflict, creativity, and
(13:03):
fulfillment altogether.
We all know that life is not apurity contest between the
practical and the spiritual.
Both must dance, sometimes inharmony, and sometimes there is
tension.
Real life conflicts are alwaysinevitable.
The teacher who must be bothcompassionate and structured,
(13:23):
and the executive who must facelayoffs with both empathy and
depth.
And I've seen that in reallife.
The parent balancing boundarieswith unconditional love for
their child.
Multilayered fulfillment isforged in both conflict and
resolution.
(13:44):
You honor your ambition yetrest in knowing that you are
more than enough.
You strive for excellence, yetmeasure your success by
integrity and growth.
Consider Jamal a communityorganizer, fighting for justice.
(14:06):
His days demand relentlesshuman effort, but at night he
meditates, releasing anger, restoring hope, recommitting to
his purpose.
The impact he makes flows notonly from his strategies, but
his spirit.
(14:27):
It is important to have ameditation practice in order to
connect with the divine andexperience what true stillness
and silence can bring to yourlife when you allow your body to
relax and the senses to becomequiet.
That is when you begin toexperience the essence of your
(14:51):
soul and the power of yourspirit.
I'm going to suggest anexercise that you can do when
you are alone and have a quietmoment.
It allows you to align yourhuman power and your spiritual
power.
Write down one goal you'rechasing right now.
(15:15):
Note the actions that arerequired.
That is your human power.
Next, list three innerqualities you want to embody on
that journey.
That is your spiritual power.
Each day, pause to check.
Are you balancing drive andgrace?
(15:37):
If you feel stuck, ask, whatlayer am I ignoring?
Let's move on to the finallayer of this episode, layer
number six.
I call the ripple effect, powerbeyond yourself.
When you awaken all layers, your power ripples out.
(15:58):
People feel it.
You become a force for healing, inspiration, and growth.
Not only in your own life, butalso in the life of others, in
everyone that you touch.
Think of the doctor whoserelaxed, present, bedside manner
calms anxious families, or thecoach whose belief in her
(16:24):
athletes transcends scoreboards,or the friend who listens with
trust and warmth, not advice.
This is the ultimatefulfillment.
Using all of your gifts woventhrough the blessings of your
soul and spirit in service to aworld always hungry for awakened
(16:51):
souls.
Breathe deeply and imagine eachlayer surface action, your
shadow self, your inner voice, integrating into your life,
strengthening you, your posture, the way you walk, the way you
(17:12):
talk, the way you presentyourself to the world,
strengthening your spirit andgiving you a great sense of
purpose, meaning andfulfillment.
Feel your ambitions becomingrefined by compassion.
Feel your fears being softenedby acceptance.
(17:35):
Feel your quiet truth guide allof your choices.
Let all separation dissolve.
Stand whole in your human powerand your spiritual power,
awakening the fulfilled soulwithin yourself and using all of
your spiritual power in reallife.
(17:57):
Own this moment and be readynow to live an integrated,
multi-layered, powerful life.
In this episode, you've heardyour power in all its forms, the
seen and the invisible, thestrong and the loving.
(18:21):
Remember, every day gives youchances to live on all levels,
to shatter limits, not only byforce, but by truth and depth.
You are multidimensional.
You are ready.
