Podcast, episode 90.
Yes, that is 9-0.
Let's go ahead and drop thatbeat.
SPEAKER_00 (00:15):
Episode 90.
SPEAKER_03 (00:17):
Yup.
SPEAKER_00 (00:17):
Are you kidding me?
SPEAKER_03 (00:19):
I know.
Ten away.
Yeah.
Ten away from the three-figurepodcasts.
SPEAKER_01 (00:28):
Three digits.
One for each figure.
Syndication.
SPEAKER_02 (00:32):
Huh?
Great.
Alright, I don't I don't get it.
SPEAKER_01 (00:36):
Syndication is like
a like when a huge network buys
you.
SPEAKER_02 (00:40):
Yeah, because you
have you have a hundred episodes
in.
SPEAKER_01 (00:43):
Oh.
SPEAKER_02 (00:44):
Yeah, so they can
just keep replaying your old
episodes throughout the years.
SPEAKER_03 (00:48):
Oh, that's what it
is.
SPEAKER_02 (00:49):
You collect
royalties.
I like it.
SPEAKER_01 (00:51):
I'm just I'm seeing
it as triple digits, so there's
finally one for each of us, andme and Glenn can quit fighting
over the second one finally.
We can each have our own.
SPEAKER_03 (00:59):
We have one digit
each.
Exactly.
Y'all can get the zeros.
SPEAKER_01 (01:06):
Yeah, I was like, do
you want the uh ones place or
the tens place or the hundredsplace?
Let's just go back to like thirdgrade math really quick.
SPEAKER_03 (01:15):
Yeah.
No, that is uh yeah, but big9-0.
Um and also, if you're hearingthis, it is the week of eBay
Open, baby.
SPEAKER_01 (01:28):
It is.
At the time this is airing, itis tomorrow, which is super
duper exciting.
Um, and really, we're gonna takethe time on today's episode to
help you to maximize yourexperience.
Um, we really hope that everyperson in our little community
here attends eBay Open one wayor the other.
And there are a few ways to dothat.
(01:48):
Obviously, like we've beensaying for weeks, we are gonna
be there live in person in LasVegas.
But even if you're not therelive with us, um, that is okay.
There are some other reallyvaluable ways to participate and
get something out of this that'sgonna help your business.
And we all know that fromexperience, like how helpful it
actually can be.
So um, but it really depends onwhat you put in, right?
(02:11):
Like you get out what you put inin a situation like this in
person or live streaming.
So we're gonna talk about someof that stuff.
Um, but yeah, this is eBay openweek, and rest assured, we have
big plans to collect a lot ofcontent, talk to a lot of people
on the mic while we're there.
So we we hope to have somereally fun stuff to bring back
to you guys afterwards, too.
SPEAKER_03 (02:31):
Yeah, before I ask
Glenn the what's the most um or
what he is he the most excitedabout eBay Open, I'd also like
to point out that this is eBay'sthirtieth birthday.
So thirty years.
The dinosaur of a platform, I'mjust joking.
(02:53):
That is very nice for adinosaur.
I have this.
Tech giant baby is thirty yearsold.
So we're celebrating it big timethis time.
So, Glenn, tell us a little bitmore about uh what you're
excited about most of this withthis event.
I mean, you're the veteran ofeBay Open.
I guess a veteran.
SPEAKER_01 (03:11):
We've been going
since 2018, so that was like
your nicest way yet of callinghim old.
I know.
SPEAKER_02 (03:16):
I mean, I did join
eBay in the year 2000, I might
add.
SPEAKER_01 (03:21):
So no better time.
No better time.
SPEAKER_02 (03:23):
Exactly, exactly.
SPEAKER_01 (03:24):
I was busy seeing
Backstreet Boys on the
Millennium Tour, and you werelike starting a business.
So congratulations to you.
SPEAKER_02 (03:31):
I was 14 years
young.
SPEAKER_01 (03:33):
Wow.
SPEAKER_02 (03:34):
I was uh I was just
learning how to walk.
Learning how to walk.
I think um, well, since we'retalking about the eBay though,
before I get into your questionthough, uh me and the wife were
actually just talking about thisthe other day because my uncle
and my cousin were the ones whoshowed me eBay during that time.
Oh wow.
And I had no clue what it was,and just kind of sharing it came
(03:55):
from like the sports card sideof things.
SPEAKER_01 (03:58):
Interesting.
SPEAKER_02 (03:59):
And so me and my
cousin collected cards, and you
know, they showed me eBay, like, hey, you can like buy and sell
and you know, you send the moneyorder to the seller, and then uh
they ship you the the card in anenvelope, and there was no
tracking, there was nothing likethat.
(04:19):
It just kind of like, hey, itshows up when it shows up.
And it was very, very importantthat you left feedback.
Those were prominent.
Other than that, that's uh kindof like the easy steps to eBay.
But things would take uh severalweeks to get something in, kind
of.
SPEAKER_01 (04:40):
And nobody was
bothered by that.
It was like I mean, I orderedthis on the internet, like if it
ever gets here, that'll beamazing, you know?
It wasn't like where is this?
It's been 12 hours.
SPEAKER_03 (04:51):
Exactly.
Did you ship it yet?
SPEAKER_01 (04:54):
A lot has changed.
No, that's true.
A lot has changed.
SPEAKER_02 (04:58):
And so I remember
telling my parents I wanted to
quit college to sell an eBay.
Shit.
And they told me no because Iwas over my I already done, I
guess, like two years of basics.
I was going into like my major.
SPEAKER_01 (05:14):
Yeah.
Your gen eds were done.
SPEAKER_02 (05:17):
Yeah, they're like
No, that's not gonna happen.
Like, just stick with school.
SPEAKER_01 (05:21):
We already paid too
much for this, and so in your
parallel life with John, he didthe opposite thing.
He went to college for like, Ithink a year and a half and was
doing gen eds, and then his bandgot signed and he dropped out.
Oh because he's like, Yep, herewe go.
This is what I actually want todo.
Yep, this is what I'm saying.
And he never went back andfinished school, just so
(05:41):
everyone knows.
He'll be so happy that I sharedthat on the podcast.
SPEAKER_03 (05:45):
Wow.
A dropout.
Yeah.
Yeah.
To do what he wants to do.
I like it.
SPEAKER_01 (05:51):
But you know,
self-taught musician and
designer that totally runscircles around everyone.
I mean, who cares if you finishcollege, you know?
Yeah, yeah.
And I'm saying that as a personwho has finished college
multiple times.
So it's not everything.
It's not everything.
SPEAKER_03 (06:06):
Yeah, that is that
is a cool I wonder why John.
I'm gonna have a conversationwith John.
I'm I'm gonna ask ask him toinclude that in his
introduction.
Hi, I'm John, and um, you know,as he always does.
I am Anos Plus One and I'm adropout.
SPEAKER_00 (06:23):
A college dropout.
SPEAKER_03 (06:24):
Yeah, I'm a college
dropout.
SPEAKER_01 (06:25):
Beauty school
dropout.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (06:27):
I like that.
SPEAKER_02 (06:28):
So to answer Kenny's
question though, to go back, uh,
what am I looking forward to themost at eBay Open?
Well, if you go to the eBay Openpage, there's this little
section right there that saysspeakers.
There's one of them there.
SPEAKER_04 (06:43):
Ooh.
SPEAKER_02 (06:43):
eBay seller,
fashionably legal.
Oh Yinka that you have to meet.
So if you see Yinka around, yousay what's up to him.
SPEAKER_01 (06:54):
Yinka is the bomb.
Like, seriously, I'm serious,you guys.
Episode 100, we're changing thepodcast to the Yinka Fan Club
podcast.
SPEAKER_03 (07:03):
Um Well, well, and
this is this is just Yinka just
makes you smile.
SPEAKER_01 (07:10):
He does.
SPEAKER_03 (07:11):
Makes you smile and
just has a really fresh and
light takeout life, you know?
And and you think he's just allnice and just, you know, then
you play bocce ball against himand bring out the
competitiveness in this guy, hislaugh is insulting.
(07:35):
That is so accurate.
unknown (07:37):
So accurate.
SPEAKER_03 (07:38):
Anna can attest to
this.
SPEAKER_00 (07:40):
Yeah, I was the
victim of it.
Are you kidding?
SPEAKER_01 (07:42):
But you know what?
I love him so much.
I can't wait to see him inVegas.
But also, I'm sure that nobodylistening to his talk is gonna
be competing with him like inthat moment.
So yeah, so he's gonna be supernice.
SPEAKER_02 (07:54):
He's gonna be super
nice.
SPEAKER_01 (07:55):
Yeah.
He's so fun.
SPEAKER_02 (07:57):
Anna, what are you
looking forward to?
And this is your first likein-person.
SPEAKER_01 (08:01):
It is what I'm
looking forward to.
That is probably, I mean, that'snot like a specific agenda item,
but that is what I'm looking themost forward to because I really
got involved with the sellercommunity like after COVID
happened.
So it I never have been to anin-person eBay open like this.
And it seems like over the yearsof participating in eBay open,
(08:25):
like filming content, and likelast year Ken and I co-hosted
the event, and it was so fun.
Um, and there's been like theseglimmers of like I can only
imagine what it was like beforethis when it was a huge
in-person event.
So I'm just really excited tofinally have that experience.
And, you know, we have kind of aunique situation being in the
(08:45):
expo hall and having a booth, which is gonna be amazing.
We're gonna be like at our bootha lot, you know, and so
hopefully a lot of people comeby and talk to us and engage
with all the fun stuff we havegoing on in our booth, which
we'll talk about more later.
But um, you know, it's gonna bea different uh conference type
of experience from thatstandpoint too, because we're
not just regular attendees, butwe are sellers, and so we do,
(09:09):
you know, it does behoove us tolike t soak up everything we can
and learn everything we canwhile we're there.
Um so I'm just excited to seehow all that's gonna play out.
I think no matter what, it'sgonna be a great experience, but
it's not gonna be like anythinglike any eBay open I've been
part of before.
So I'm pumped about it.
SPEAKER_03 (09:28):
Kenny, what are you
looking forward to?
I just like to see people'sfaces in person this time.
I think that's the big thing.
Do you like that part?
I like that part.
I like that part.
Um and and and here's the thing.
You know, like we've donevirtual last three years.
Um and we've been part of 18 and9 2018 and 2019 in person.
(09:52):
And you know, like virtual'sfun, you know.
I think virtual is really goodto kind of like get the intro,
right?
Like then you get 'causevirtually you get to connect
with a lot more people.
You know, I uh I you know, we'reInstagrammers, we're YouTubers,
we're podcasters.
A lot of the things is donevirtually.
Um but also it's like to take itto the next level, you know.
(10:14):
Um to get to tell stories inperson that is hard to do on
chats and DMs and stuff likethat.
I think that's really big.
Um and also to say I feel likeit's just a celebration.
I've always said this inmultiple, you know, um
interviews that eBay open is acelebration for what we have
accomplished that year orthrough the years.
(10:38):
Um I feel like it's a good breakof kind of like looking at the
bigger picture that sometimes weget too micro focused on our own
problems and our own, you know, buyer return, buyer cases.
Right.
Just that.
Our own gripes.
Yeah, and at the end of the day, like you look back at it, it's
like, man, like there's peoplethat are doing this hobby,
(11:01):
part-time, post um retirement, and there's people that have
done it multi-generationallyalready, and to big corporations
in different categories.
So that's always kind of like abreath of fresh air for me to
remind me that you know, like, hey yo, like your your stores
(11:22):
micro compared to the grandscheme of things.
SPEAKER_01 (11:24):
Yeah, it's like put
you in your place a little bit.
SPEAKER_03 (11:26):
Yeah, I I I like
that.
I like that, like you know, forthe lack of better word, it
humbles me.
Um, you need that, Ken.
SPEAKER_01 (11:34):
Huh?
You need that.
SPEAKER_03 (11:36):
Yeah.
unknown (11:37):
I know, I know.
SPEAKER_03 (11:38):
Glenn is Glenn,
Glenn, laugh so hard, you know.
SPEAKER_01 (11:41):
Feel free to come by
our booth and humble Ken.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (11:45):
Show me your 90-day
total.
Remember that, Glenn?
SPEAKER_02 (11:49):
Oh, yeah.
Let me see her in Let me see herin the last 90 days.
SPEAKER_03 (11:52):
Yeah, I remember,
yeah, we made a joke about it,
you know, because you know, it'snot, you know, it's not it's not
imp It's not possible for anindustry to not to lack gurus.
And there's always gonna begurus.
And that's that's how you can.
SPEAKER_01 (12:09):
Like it or not.
Like it or not.
SPEAKER_03 (12:12):
Like it or not,
there's gonna be gurus that's
gonna try to teach you how tomake a million dollars while
making AI listings and yeah, youknow what I'm saying?
While making less than a millionbucks.
I'm like, how are you gonna tellme where to go when you haven't
been there yet?
Um, but that was just you know ajoke.
But you know, I would say, youknow, most is pretty cool,
(12:35):
humble, and you know, really funto be with.
SPEAKER_01 (12:38):
So um Man, I should
have put show us your 90-day
total in the bingo card.
SPEAKER_03 (12:42):
Oh I didn't spoiler
alert.
SPEAKER_01 (12:45):
If you're there in
person, we're gonna be able to.
SPEAKER_03 (12:49):
If you show me your
90-day total, you get a price.
Yeah, I want to show you.
That's it.
SPEAKER_01 (12:55):
Just that easy.
I'll show you mine.
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (12:59):
Well, that's what
I'm saying.
It varies based on your 90 days, the price will vary.
SPEAKER_01 (13:03):
Oh, gotcha.
SPEAKER_03 (13:05):
Anna, you get a
snack.
SPEAKER_01 (13:07):
I'm getting a
sticker.
Amazing.
Um, sticker for you.
We do, though, one of the thingson the bingo card that I'm
really excited about is you haveto sing happy birthday to eBay.
I hope we have people in ourbooth singing happy birthday all
day.
SPEAKER_03 (13:21):
Oh, golly.
It's gonna be awesome.
Here's the musicality of Anna.
We'll have John judge.
SPEAKER_01 (13:26):
I'm not singing it.
I mean, I may be the judge.
It's not for me, it's forwhoever has their bingo card.
SPEAKER_03 (13:31):
Yeah.
John will have the um the buzzerbutton.
SPEAKER_01 (13:34):
I'll coach them on
their singing if you want.
I can give you a voice lessonreally quick.
SPEAKER_02 (13:40):
So I think before we
talk about eBay open stuff, I
know we're talking a little bitabout it, but I did make a
change to photos.
Oh, an update.
Wow.
I feel like we need like Glennmakes a change.
SPEAKER_03 (13:54):
This is a big deal.
Let's listen to it.
SPEAKER_02 (13:56):
Seeing Anna's photos
in a white background.
I know Kenny doesn't like thewhite background.
SPEAKER_01 (14:01):
Oh my gosh, did I
persuade you to change your
background?
SPEAKER_02 (14:04):
I think it's clean.
I think we have to go whitebackground on listings.
With your hats.
With hats.
SPEAKER_01 (14:11):
They pop.
They pop so well.
SPEAKER_03 (14:14):
Or you blend too
well.
Or yeah, or that happens.
What if your backdrop is thehustler hacks green?
SPEAKER_02 (14:23):
I don't know.
I feel like it might be tooloud.
I don't want the d I don't wantthe background to distract.
SPEAKER_01 (14:27):
Okay, I have a weird
question.
You want it like Is it green oris it blue?
SPEAKER_03 (14:32):
It's hustler hacks.
SPEAKER_01 (14:33):
I know.
SPEAKER_03 (14:34):
That's like a deal.
SPEAKER_01 (14:36):
But is that green or
blue?
It's a little bull.
SPEAKER_03 (14:39):
More green.
SPEAKER_01 (14:40):
Okay.
I feel like it looks more blue.
SPEAKER_02 (14:42):
Yeah, it looks more
green.
Here's the thing that I noticedthough, when I had the grey
background.
Like some colors weren't comingout right.
SPEAKER_01 (14:50):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (14:51):
And I tried, like,
I'm like, this is too much work
now trying to maneuver all thesethings to get the right color.
And then of course I've had somemessages too where like, hey, I
bought this hat.
I thought it was more darker ofa black and it's more of like an
olive.
SPEAKER_03 (15:06):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (15:06):
And I'm like, how is
it that different on the photo?
SPEAKER_03 (15:09):
You know why?
You know why?
Because the iPhone that we usecompensates and auto-adjusts
white balance.
So one way of of doing that isif you want accurate or
non-changing, you have to lockyour setting and you have to go
manual.
(15:30):
Basically the pro on the on theon when you're taking.
But that's that takes time.
But on that note too, I hundredpercent agree like you know, a
clean white background would beit.
That's the only reason why Ihaven't done a plain background.
Because of the fact that if I gothere, then your your our our
(15:51):
iPhone, I think all of us takeiPhone on taking photos, it
hunts it hunts color and and anduh white balance.
So it the great and to a pointthat you have to control
brightness up and down.
Um and w the only way to combatthat is lighting, solid lighting
that light doesn't change, and aDSLR camera that just is set for
(16:19):
that light tone.
SPEAKER_01 (16:21):
So the
non-professional version of
that, Glenn, is edit copying andpasting exposure adjustment
edits within your photos on youriPhone.
Because that's that's what I do.
I mean, the white background andthe lighting is always
consistent, but yeah, sometimesfrom color to color, it's
different.
And usually just adjusting theexposure a little bit pretty
(16:42):
much fixes it.
At least good enough to whereyou know I can look at it and
look at it in real life and belike, yeah, that looks really
close.
Yeah.
So I mean, for me, that's a likeas long as it's good enough,
like serviceable condition kindof situation, or I would spend
like 12 hours trying to get myphotos perfect.
So that's how I get to goodenough.
SPEAKER_02 (17:04):
Well, I'm gonna try
it with this white background.
Let's see if this helps a littlebit, because I guess the colors
are just too weird on thegrayish, but for jerseys it
seemed like it was alright anddidn't really have any issues
there.
But for hats, I don't know.
SPEAKER_03 (17:18):
Well, cause cause
the hats will show more of the
backdrop, that's why.
Right?
Jersey, it covers a lot of it.
SPEAKER_01 (17:23):
It takes up more of
the frame.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (17:25):
Yeah.
Yeah.
When you have more of the borderor whatever you call it, the
backdrop popping out, then ourcamera or our eyes looks at the
more dominant color around itrather than just the subject.
So either try to have your photozoomed in a little bit way more.
Yeah.
I do like how you do your jerseythough when you have like just a
(17:45):
part of it in the whole screen.
Do you is that how you still doit now?
SPEAKER_02 (17:49):
Yeah, I just get
like that first kind of like
zoom in crop.
SPEAKER_03 (17:53):
For example, like
the the number, right?
The 13, like all zoom in.
So so it's very unique to yourlisting when you're looking at
at listings.
It catches my eye.
SPEAKER_01 (18:03):
That's a good point
too, Ken, because you change
your background every year,right?
So you can look at a glance likeof at where how old your
listings are.
Wow, why can't I put a sentencetogether all of a sudden?
Yeah.
So that's helpful to you, butyou know, maybe there's another
way, like what Glenn does withthat.
It's like, okay, well, thisreally makes his listing stand
out.
Maybe not among his own otherlistings if it's like a
(18:25):
consistent thing that you do.
And it probably is, becauseyou're consistent about
everything.
Which is this is why this littleannouncement about changing your
photos is such a big deal.
SPEAKER_03 (18:33):
Yeah, or or you can
you can have N of filleting a
shoe one way or the other, andthat's everything.
SPEAKER_01 (18:38):
No, I'm gonna fillet
that shoe.
I'm just gonna like walk up toyou in Vegas and just like roll
my ankle so I can fillet theshoe I'm wearing.
SPEAKER_03 (18:46):
Have you seen those
people uh like like taking a
photo of their foot, like goingeast to like those are like are
you even human?
Like yeah, like who can do this?
SPEAKER_00 (19:00):
East to West.
SPEAKER_03 (19:01):
Yeah.
I mean that's like a balletstance, like that is true, but
like putting sneakers on it, itlooks so weird.
It does look weird.
SPEAKER_01 (19:09):
Yeah.
Should have put that on thebingo card too.
Man, I'm rethinking the entirebingo card now, and it's too
late to change it.
SPEAKER_03 (19:14):
We can redo it.
We can do it virtually.
SPEAKER_02 (19:18):
I don't know if it
was I don't think it looks too
stock photo-ish.
Like Anna's photos don't lookstocky to me.
SPEAKER_01 (19:23):
Thank you.
SPEAKER_02 (19:25):
Apparently someone
did, right?
SPEAKER_01 (19:26):
They sent you a I
mean they might have had poor
eyesight.
I don't know.
SPEAKER_03 (19:34):
You know, there's
like it's more realness to it.
The background's not removed.
Because remember like Jeffbefore Soupies, he got like
really crazy about the thing, and his photo looks so crispy.
SPEAKER_00 (19:46):
Oh my gosh, is he
coming?
SPEAKER_03 (19:48):
To a point that it's
not real, you know?
No, I don't I haven't heard.
Maybe he will.
So, yeah, too crispy of a photois not gonna help you.
At that point, just cropsomebody's stock photo.
SPEAKER_02 (20:03):
Okay, let's see what
these look like and then I'll
I'll keep you guys posted onthese photos.
SPEAKER_03 (20:09):
We'll see.
We'll judge your new photos.
Okay, we can and we will.
We'll judge it on eBay Open.
So if you're listening, are yougonna be on eBay Open?
Besides showing us your 90-daytotal, show us your crispiest
listing photo.
Oh crispiest.
SPEAKER_01 (20:22):
Maybe we'll have to
have a prize for the best one we
see.
SPEAKER_03 (20:25):
Yeah, the crispiest.
SPEAKER_01 (20:26):
That would be super
fun.
SPEAKER_03 (20:28):
The crispiest eBay
listing.
I love it.
Photo wise.
And then somebody comes up toyou and he has them uh on like a
not a one-by-one ratio.
SPEAKER_01 (20:41):
This is a pass-fail
situation.
You just smack their phone.
Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_02 (20:47):
Oh man.
Kenneth's gonna be like square.
Breaking phones.
Alright, so eBay open talk.
SPEAKER_01 (20:56):
I know, let's get
into it.
So, I mean, we have already kindof, but but as far as the actual
event, it is starting in T minusless than 24 hours from when
you're hearing this on the daythat we air.
And like we've been saying toVegas in-person tickets are sold
out.
They have been for a while, butthere is also the live streaming
(21:18):
registration option, which insome ways, depending on what's
going on in your business, mightbe the best for you anyway.
Even if you were like, oh man, Iwanted to go to Vegas, like you
get to stay home and run yourbusiness still, which is really
good.
SPEAKER_03 (21:31):
You'll be making
more sales than us, those are
you will, for sure.
SPEAKER_01 (21:34):
So, you know, that's
a grain of salt to take it with.
But um, you know, either way, there's going to be tons of
really good content.
And so if you're not registered,I'm just going to point blank
command you right now, goregister.
Even if you just go for one day,um, there's also, you know,
usually like really cool stuffthat comes with being
(21:56):
registered.
You can be entered for swag.
Like they always have funsurprises, and I suspect there's
going to be a lot of funsurprises this year because of
the big anniversary birthdaysituation.
So just go get registered, evenif you can just go for one day.
It's Tuesday through Thursday.
Um, but even if you can just gofor part of one day, like it
(22:16):
will be worth it.
So check that out.
It's free to live stream um andbe part of that online
community.
But also, either way, whetheryou're there in person or you're
there virtually via the livestream, you can actually go into
um for the live stream, it's thewebsite or the registration site
and build your agenda.
Like you can look through allthe different talks and sessions
(22:38):
that are happening and buildyour agenda to just tailor it
for yourself, like yourexperience level, your interest
um based on the topics or thespeakers.
Obviously, you have to go listento Yanka.
That's like you're contractuallyobligated by virtue of hearing
this episode to go listen toYanka because we love him and
it'll be great.
But also for the in-personexperience, there's an entire
(23:00):
app to download.
And that in there, you can dothe same thing.
You can build your agenda, youcan see like a map of the whole
um conference area, like all thedifferent parts of the actual
venue and what's going on when.
So if you're on the fence atall, go look at the schedule
either way, whichever wayapplies to you, um, and like
(23:21):
build the ideal schedule andthen and then decide, right?
And then go get registered.
Um so Ken, you have been lookingaround in the app more than I
have.
So do you want to add anythingto that?
Like what's going on in there?
SPEAKER_03 (23:34):
Yeah, I mean, the
one of the biggest things that I
like about the app is you get toum, you know, it's kind of like
a LinkedIn profile kind of likevibe.
Um, you get to put all yourcontact information if you want
to network with other people.
Um also um I I I do like, youknow, I'd like to echo what Anna
said about building your ownagenda.
(23:56):
Um I'm a person that could geteasily scattered brain at the
event.
Easily distracted.
Um you could add um you knowwhere you need to be at a
certain point.
Um especially in person.
Um the the in-person event, um,there's multiple of the same
ones.
So you could say like, okay,I'll skip this one, I'll do this
(24:17):
tomorrow because I like thisbetter today.
Uh I I believe it is the same asvirtual too, and um all of this
is gonna be recorded anyway aswell.
So um it's I would highlyrecommend to kind of just like
do all as much as you want andthen go back later.
Um because I truly believethere's kind of like different
(24:37):
nuggets that you can catch uhwith the same energy at that
point because even with the sametype of questions with the
different questions that you'regonna see on the chat, it just
kinda gives you a different umyou know, it'll give you ideas.
You know, if somebody's tellingtalking about the photos and
giving suggestions or answers,it kind of gives you more ideas.
(24:58):
So like, oh like wait, likeGlenn said he likes white, but
ninety peop ninety percent ofthe people here don't like
white.
You know what I'm saying?
So I was like, Who do you guysbelieve?
Glenn or the ninety percent ofthe people?
Definitely you believe Glenn.
You know what I'm saying?
SPEAKER_01 (25:11):
I like how it's
around Glenn is the ten percent
and like you are the 90%.
SPEAKER_00 (25:17):
Actually me and
Glenn are the same.
SPEAKER_03 (25:18):
No, I know 'cause I
well, 'cause if you if you
really know, it is really hardto get white photos, white
background.
Um, you know.
Or maybe not.
Maybe I'm just a rookie and Annajust takes it so much better.
So so yeah, so I th I think umdownload the app.
Make sure you just register, just register.
Like I've ask a lot.
And here's the thing if you wantto be successful, you gotta
(25:43):
wanna learn from people beneathyou and in your level and above
you.
That's one of the things.
Most most people that don'tsucceed are the ones that don't
want to learn from other people.
SPEAKER_01 (25:59):
That's why it's
called eBay open.
You gotta be open to learningfrom everyone.
SPEAKER_03 (26:04):
Oh, just blow your
mind.
SPEAKER_01 (26:10):
It sure did.
I've been holding on to that onefor a few years.
SPEAKER_03 (26:15):
And she's if you
yeah, yeah, she she she wasn't
asked to run a promotion or anad on that one, and then now
she's just like understanding.
I wasn't.
SPEAKER_01 (26:23):
My other hot take is
it's open like eBay is opening,
you know, the curtain for us tosee what they're doing.
Like it's transparency.
SPEAKER_03 (26:31):
Or eBay open the
person that bought from you
about to open a return case.
SPEAKER_01 (26:39):
Or the door of
opportunity is opening to you.
Wow, we're not opening returncases.
Okay.
Let's keep it positive.
Let's keep it positive.
SPEAKER_03 (26:48):
Yeah, open an item
not as described.
SPEAKER_02 (26:52):
There's three things
I'm trying that I want to do
there.
Okay, three things.
Okay, get your notes out reallyquickly and get to do it.
Okay, option number number one, number one.
SPEAKER_01 (27:03):
Wait, are these
optional or like this is your
to-do list must be a little bitdifferent?
SPEAKER_02 (27:09):
Must do number one.
Okay, number one, for sure.
I need to check back with someold similar faces, see how
they're doing, what are theyselling, and catch up.
And of course, meet new sellersthat I've never met before.
You know, what are they sellingin?
What are what are their nichein?
(27:29):
Are they uh I want to get moreinformation on the YouTube site
too.
What are the things doing recon?
SPEAKER_03 (27:35):
He's doing recon
work.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (27:37):
For sure.
SPEAKER_02 (27:38):
Research work.
SPEAKER_01 (27:39):
And relationship
maintenance as well.
SPEAKER_02 (27:41):
So I think that
would be good.
Get their feedback on stuff onstuff.
Um for YouTube, for socialmedia, what are the quick
question?
SPEAKER_03 (27:49):
Are you gonna be are
you gonna be vlogging this?
Um I don't think so.
Dang.
I'm so good at Glen's vlogs.
That's I I love vlogging only onGlenn.
If I do it, I look at the edit,I'm like, nah, it's too much
work editing it.
I said so much dumb stuff.
SPEAKER_02 (28:09):
Okay, let me think
about it though.
Maybe maybe I'll change that.
Maybe I'll change it.
SPEAKER_01 (28:13):
Well, that wasn't
one of your three things in any
case.
Okay.
It wasn't.
SPEAKER_02 (28:16):
It wasn't.
Number two, number two.
Uh number two, talking tosomebody regarding eBay live.
I really want to figure out whatI could do for eBay Live.
And I noticed eBay Live wasn'treally one of the topics on
here.
But it's something they'reworking on.
I think they have a panel.
SPEAKER_03 (28:33):
I think they have a
panel.
SPEAKER_02 (28:34):
They have a panel?
Okay.
Because I've been looking atthis all of these workshops.
I don't see anything.
SPEAKER_03 (28:40):
Oh, it's not a
workshop.
There's no uh there's no liveworkshop.
Yeah, yeah.
But there's a panel just talkingabout their but but speaking of
eBay Live, somebody, somebodyopened up their budget and
wallet for the nationals.
eBay nationals.
Glenn Glenn, do you know whothese people were that popped up
(29:00):
in their live?
No, I didn't see.
Okay.
Um, just to name a few.
The Ante the Kumpo brothers.
What?
On eBay Live.
On eBay Live, baby.
Alright.
One of the greatest pointguards, an NBA champion,
Chauncey Billups was on eBayLive.
(29:23):
On eBay Live, baby.
And this one shocked me.
I was driving and JC said, babe,we should have been there.
Like, I'm not a card seller, butbabe, look who showed up.
Bruh.
Rob Gronkowski.
Oh.
(29:44):
Led the chant eBay Live.
eBay Live.
SPEAKER_00 (29:48):
Now is he gonna be
at eBay Open?
SPEAKER_03 (29:51):
Yeah, what if it's
gonna be at eBay Open?
SPEAKER_00 (29:54):
Maybe he'll be in
Vegas.
Who knows?
Who knows?
SPEAKER_03 (29:56):
And and and guess
who made it to the eBay Live?
IG reel oh eBay IG reel thatthey covered.
Your boy the OG Gary V.
He was so hype.
He was so hype.
(30:17):
There's a there were likequizzing.
It's like what is a kaboom?
What is a something like that?
And what is a parallel orsomething like that?
Something like that.
It was very card.
And this guy nailed it.
Nailed it to the T.
It's like I'm in this, man.
I'm in this team.
Oh my god.
Just like cutting everythinglike that.
(30:38):
And he's like, he's like, whatdo you think about uh Austin?
This is guaranteed.
He said, I keep it real, man.
That's why I've been messingwith eBay all man.
He was showing eBay so muchlove, baby.
Yeah.
So, so, so yeah, it's justfitting.
It's just right for HustlerHacks to be with eBay Live
again.
SPEAKER_02 (30:58):
I thought you were
gonna say Gary Payton.
I don't know why.
You're going with NBA players.
Gary's so slow.
SPEAKER_01 (31:06):
Gary Peyton.
SPEAKER_03 (31:12):
We will do a collab
called eBay brings Gary B.
Gary B.
SPEAKER_01 (31:18):
I was gonna say V
eBay, anyone?
SPEAKER_03 (31:22):
Oh V France, there's
V France.
SPEAKER_01 (31:24):
Yes, it's cards.
SPEAKER_03 (31:25):
That's so funny.
SPEAKER_02 (31:27):
So eBay Live, you're
Kenny, you're saying there
should be there should be someuh representatives.
SPEAKER_03 (31:32):
Yeah, there is
there's uh um I I saw it uh eBay
Live.
I I forgot the title.
I forgot the title, but there'sgonna be pan a panel for it.
So I mean I don't know if Ishould bring a suitcase full of
hats.
SPEAKER_02 (31:44):
I mean, what do I
have to do here and be like,
hey, I'm gonna get on thisplatform.
Here's the one I'm currently on.
Yeah, put me in.
Get me off the bench.
We're ready to go.
SPEAKER_01 (31:53):
Get me off the
bench.
SPEAKER_02 (31:54):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (31:55):
You bring a suitcase
full of hats, and I'll bring two
suitcases full of snacks forboots.
SPEAKER_02 (32:02):
Snacks and hats.
SPEAKER_01 (32:03):
We'll talk more
about that in a minute, too.
But what's your third thing?
SPEAKER_02 (32:06):
Uh, my third thing
was I mean, if you go to the
speakers part, obviously our boyKenny.
His photo is on there.
SPEAKER_03 (32:14):
My face is there.
I don't know why, but it isthere.
SPEAKER_02 (32:17):
So I'm gonna figure
out what is going on with that
and how I can be a part of thissituation.
SPEAKER_01 (32:26):
So I guess I'm gonna
be holding down the fort at the
booth for whatever that is.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (32:30):
Hey, don't worry.
Anna there.
Anna's face is not there yet.
It's not.
Okay, okay.
It's not.
It's not.
I know.
SPEAKER_01 (32:38):
Honestly, it's it's
kind of weird not being involved
in any of the official contentthis year for the first time
ever.
SPEAKER_03 (32:44):
I would say we're
not doing anything bigger than
what we've done virtually inperson this year.
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (32:52):
Maybe at least
that's the assessment from this
side of the experience.
SPEAKER_03 (32:56):
But we're doing
other things too.
And right, remember?
I think.
SPEAKER_01 (33:00):
Yeah, we are.
SPEAKER_03 (33:00):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (33:01):
We're doing some
stuff.
Well, you'll see us.
SPEAKER_03 (33:04):
You'll see us
somehow somewhere.
But uh Glenn, it is uh giving toyou uh um responding to your
answer.
There is I saw it.
It's in August 14th.
It is on Golly, I just saw it.
It is uh for eBay Live?
Yes, I saw it.
(33:24):
August 14th.
Not seeing it here today.
SPEAKER_01 (33:28):
Is it a session?
SPEAKER_03 (33:30):
I think it's a
session.
SPEAKER_01 (33:33):
This is why you have
to go in and look at the agenda,
folks.
I don't see the agenda.
SPEAKER_02 (33:38):
I've been I've been
studying the agenda.
Oh, there we go.
eBay Live Cellar Panel.
Yes, 9 a.m.
SPEAKER_03 (33:44):
to nine forty-five.
So I think this is uh I guess aroom, you know, like so how this
is gonna work, there's gonna bemultiple rooms going at the same
time.
So at 9 to 9.45, there's gonnabe, you know, workshop.
There's two work uh well, there's three workshops, and
there's a seller advocacyfeedback session, and there's
eBay selling lives panel.
(34:05):
And then your boy is gonna bedoing something with eBay
payments.
So we're involved with themoney.
SPEAKER_01 (34:18):
Will payments let
you have that?
SPEAKER_03 (34:20):
I should wear that.
They can't tell me no.
Why not?
SPEAKER_00 (34:25):
I'm pretty sure they
can't.
I'm pretty sure they can.
They can't tell me no.
SPEAKER_03 (34:30):
That's what I like
to believe.
It's gotta be like Okay, okay.
So this is this is it.
It my workshop is with fuelingseller success, empowerment
through financial solutions.
SPEAKER_01 (34:42):
Hey yo.
SPEAKER_03 (34:44):
You need money to
make money, baby.
You do.
So that's your line.
We'll help you with that.
That's my line.
Hi, I'm King Gaetana.
You need to make money to youneed money to make money.
SPEAKER_01 (34:56):
And I need money to
make money.
The other day, I don't know ifthey will hear this, but we were
with some friends and and theysaw on eBay they're like in the
in the trading card world is adad and son, and they're so
cute.
And um, his son was saying, youknow, I'm just trying to make
money because I want money.
That was his statement, hisprofound statement about money.
(35:16):
And I'm like, same, same.
I like that.
I'm just trying to make moneybecause I want money.
SPEAKER_04 (35:22):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (35:23):
It was, I think he's
like, yeah, he's he's uh, you
know, middle childhood, I'lljust say that age-wise.
So it was hilarious.
But um, can you be loaningmoney?
SPEAKER_02 (35:35):
Business, business
loans with Kenny?
SPEAKER_03 (35:37):
No, maybe.
I'm the one getting on themloans.
SPEAKER_02 (35:44):
Hey, you can talk
about that.
SPEAKER_03 (35:46):
I can talk about it.
SPEAKER_02 (35:47):
If people have any
questions regarding uh eBay
capital and so make sure you gothere.
SPEAKER_03 (35:53):
If you want to grow
your business, if you want to
spend more than what you have inyour pocket, listen to my story.
I have done it multiple times.
I've spent more money than Ihave.
SPEAKER_02 (36:08):
And you've come out
and it didn't crash and burn
either.
SPEAKER_03 (36:11):
And it didn't
resist.
SPEAKER_01 (36:13):
It was actually a
really smart business move.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (36:16):
Yeah.
You have to.
Only if you want to work hard.
If you don't want to work hard, you don't need to be getting
extra capital.
SPEAKER_01 (36:23):
That's true.
Yeah, I mean, extra capitalwithout a good plan for what to
do with that extra capital, maybe not the most solid idea.
SPEAKER_03 (36:32):
But because you know
what they say.
More money, more problemswithout a plan.
SPEAKER_01 (36:38):
Right.
SPEAKER_02 (36:39):
So Kenny, do you
have a top three that you're
trying to do?
SPEAKER_03 (36:43):
Top three, top
three.
Um I'm gonna sit down and have ameal with y'all.
We haven't been in a buildingtogether in a long time.
Right.
We're definitely catchingbreakfast for real.
SPEAKER_01 (37:00):
Oh, we gotta have
some breakfast.
I don't even usually eatbreakfast, but a day like that,
all day at the conference, yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (37:06):
Oh god, Lee, I
remember me and Glenn one time.
We had this gift card, man.
We had this gift card, and wespent it in the most ridiculous
expensive breakfast in Vegas.
Really?
We sat there, we enjoyed it, wedidn't even look at the price
tag, we just enjoyed.
So we're gonna do that thistime.
SPEAKER_01 (37:26):
I'm down for that.
Are you guys going to uh gambleat all?
SPEAKER_03 (37:31):
No, we want to win.
We wanna win.
SPEAKER_01 (37:34):
We wanna win.
SPEAKER_00 (37:35):
Yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_03 (37:37):
Imagine just
something.
We're eBay sellers and we'realready gamblers.
Is it gambling buying a productand assuming it's gonna sell?
SPEAKER_02 (37:55):
I mean, technically
it kind of is.
SPEAKER_01 (37:57):
I don't think it's
gambling.
You could say it's speculation, depending on how much
information you have.
I mean, nobody can tell thefuture, but it dep the amount of
risk in your speculation variesa lot, I think.
SPEAKER_03 (38:10):
So Anna, let me tell
you this.
So is life.
SPEAKER_01 (38:15):
So is life.
Such is life.
Such is life.
It definitely is like that.
SPEAKER_03 (38:20):
So so yeah, we're
we're taking I'm gambling and
putting my time aside and goingto this eBay open knowing that
I'm gonna come out a winner andwinning way more than just free
swag.
SPEAKER_01 (38:35):
Although I'm pumped
because it's probably gonna be
awesome swag this year, too.
SPEAKER_03 (38:39):
So so that's one.
That's one.
Um cell club meetup, homiemeetup.
Um the other ones is like Ithink way more friends that we
have built over time are gonnabe there.
You know, Sneakers Envy's gonnabe there, Yink is gonna be
there, Glenn's gonna be there.
Um I think a lot of first timefriends that are gonna be
(39:01):
meeting up in person, right?
Like Glenn's uh Annas have neverset Sneakers Envy, Yink has
never met them, so like I feellike all my good friends are
finally gonna meet each other inperson.
And I like that.
I'm a I'm a bee, I'm apollinator.
So so all the good things I wantto spread around to everybody
else.
(39:21):
So I think that's that.
And then number three will be Ireally wanna get to talk and
face whoever this eBay employeesare, um heads, VPs, senior,
director, all the titles, and belike, Look, what's y'all game
(39:42):
plan?
And just be like, just tell itto me straight.
Is this happening or not?
SPEAKER_01 (39:47):
Anything, any game
plan you have at all.
SPEAKER_03 (39:49):
Yeah.
Is this happening or not?
Because I just I'm at a pointwhere I don't want to speculate
and expect.
You know, and then like for thelongest time I was like, When's
when's uh um best offer autopayments gonna come?
But I got tired of that and nowlike I got tired of that doing
it so much or lobbying for toomuch so much so long that when
(40:10):
it happened, I wasn't reallyhappy anymore.
I was just like about timebecause the gratification was so
delayed, yeah.
Yeah, I want to be excited abouta new feature and say, like, so
if it's happening, just tell itto me if it's 99% gonna happen.
Don't tell me anything less than90% chance.
(40:33):
Only 90% up.
SPEAKER_02 (40:35):
So Kenny's going in
there trying to find inside eBay
deals that are not announced tothe public.
Yeah, yeah.
And he gets first dibs to know.
SPEAKER_03 (40:47):
Yeah, and also 100%
we'll make your live selling
meeting happen.
That's that's top of the list.
Okay.
And that's part of my my numberthree.
I have a lot of lists of uhhaving other meet and uh Anna
I'm gonna be plugging in herwith payments to um that was you
(41:07):
know just in-person meeting withpeople.
It's like, hey, yo, like thisare the people that I rock with,
and these are the people thatyou need to rock with.
If you ain't rocking with me,you ain't rocking with them.
But you rock with me, you rockwith them.
SPEAKER_01 (41:19):
That's how that
works.
SPEAKER_03 (41:20):
You know, that's how
it works, you know.
We sell our club podcasts, soum, so that's that's me.
What about you, Anna?
SPEAKER_01 (41:27):
Man, I think it's
hard to do it.
Saving the best for laughs.
It's hard to do that.
SPEAKER_03 (41:32):
Yeah, Anna has like
a booklet for this thing.
She's she's actually writing abook at the same time attending
EBIM.
SPEAKER_01 (41:38):
Right.
No, I do want to write afollow-up to my first book, but
I haven't started it yet.
So I think, yeah, I think Imight start it by the end of the
year.
But as for eBay Open, definitelyjust first and foremost, really
looking forward to just beingwith everyone in person.
Like that's been such a funthing about um even the last few
(41:59):
years of like flying to San Joseand filming stuff for eBay Open
because fellow eBay sellers andeBay employees have just become
my good friends and I get to seethem once a year pretty much.
So it's super fun to actuallysee everybody in person and just
like yuck it up.
It's just the best.
So I'm excited just for allthose little connections, even
(42:21):
even the people that I don'tknow yet.
Like I I was just telling Glennuh a little while ago, it's
gonna be so wild for people towalk up to our booth and be
like, hey, I listen to you guysevery week and you don't know
me.
You know, like that just conceptis crazy to me.
Even though based on ourdownloads, I know that must be
the case, right?
Like there's a bunch of peoplelistening that we don't
personally know.
(42:41):
Um, but we probably feel likethey're coworkers to them and
like I would love to know them.
So I think that's gonna bereally fun.
So I don't know, just general, like, you know, relational
connection kind of stuff.
I'm really excited about.
Um, I'm also really excitedabout whatever fun birthday
celebration stuff eBay's gonnado because I just I know that I
(43:06):
I guess I have a lot of faith inlike the team who's like
throwing this whole event, and Ifeel like they're gonna have
some really fun surprises uptheir sleeves.
That's gonna just be delightful,and I I truly like don't know
what they are.
I just think it's gonna be funand unexpected, and I that's
like my favorite.
So that's gonna be fun.
This is a little sidebar.
I wouldn't officially make thisan a list item, but last year, I
(43:28):
guess it was, when we were wereat um Cellar Week where we
filmed for eBay Open, Liz O'Kaneand I Hi Liz, I love you, can't
wait to see you.
Liz O'Kane and I took thisreally funny picture with Jamie
Iononi where we were holdingthese little poker chips, like
the three of us were likeholding poker chips together,
and it was a really funnypicture because we we had this
(43:51):
kind of like you know, Vegasycasino night themed like dinner
and games and stuff.
And I was just telling Liz likewe have to recreate this photo
in real life, like in Vegas withthe real poker chips and like
chips?
Yeah, and like and Jamie's gonnabe there, so maybe there will be
a way for us to recreate thatphoto.
But that's on my like reallysilly bucket list of things.
(44:12):
It'd be so fun to be able to dothat and have like two years in
a row of that same thing.
But um, what is my third thinggonna be?
I mean, honestly, I think thisis my third thing.
Going through so many changesthe last couple years in my
business from moving everythingtwice to downsizing to you know
(44:35):
flushing in a bunch of retailarbitrage inventory and just
changing things about the way Irun my business, which this is
why I want to write a follow-upbook, because so much has
changed.
And I I don't want to just saychanged, but really like
developed, right?
Like so much has evolved.
And um, so I think there aresome things that I am gonna
(44:56):
really like learn at this eventthat are going to unlock some
stuff for me and my business, and I'm excited for that.
I don't even really know whatareas that might be in, but I'm
kind of open to all of it.
And also if there's a way for meto, you know, re-watch things
later, I probably will becausewe're gonna be like 90 miles an
(45:16):
hour at our booth most of thetime, probably.
But I know that even just inconversations with other people
or catching a session here andthere, like there's definitely
gonna be some like gamechangers.
Um, there always are, like therealways are, even in the years
past being involved in thecontent.
I also then, you know, all thatstuff was filmed in advance.
So then when I would go watcheBay open content from my own
(45:40):
office or whatever when it wastime for eBay open, I was taking
all these notes, I was learningall this stuff, and I know it's
gonna be the same this year interms of like a lot of valuable
things to learn.
Um, so I guess those are mythree.
They're kind of vague, but I'mjust really super excited about
eBay.
I am, I'm just open, like Isaid.
(46:01):
Um, but last year, Ken, do youprobably remember this?
We were we filmed a little reelto promote eBay open, and there
were five like one-liners inthis reel where we talked about
how you get ready for eBay open.
So I want to quiz you guys alittle bit about these.
Um, and this can be like a quickround, it doesn't have to be
(46:22):
like, you know, super longanswers or anything, but our
five things from that reel werefuel up, turn on your brain,
boost your seller spirit, find afriend, and level up.
So, this eBay open, how do yourecommend for people to fuel up?
What does that mean?
SPEAKER_03 (46:41):
Coffee.
SPEAKER_01 (46:42):
100%.
Uh breakfast, which we alreadytalked about, uh, snacks, which
we already talked about, andyes, we will have lots of snacks
in our booth to share with youif you're there in person.
So come grab a snack from andwith us if you want.
SPEAKER_03 (46:56):
What's your drink of
choice, Glenn?
What's fuel up for you?
SPEAKER_02 (46:58):
No, we you
definitely need coffee.
There's uh, and one of thethings like once you get closer
to like day three, you might bea little worn out.
I was for sure.
I was done when it was like daythree, and not just because of
the conference, because uheverybody else wanted to hang
out for a long time.
SPEAKER_01 (47:16):
Because of your
social capital.
SPEAKER_03 (47:21):
I was like That is
how it goes.
Yeah, I I don't know.
I need to find a photo of Glennliterally just sitting on the
floor with his head down like Idon't want to talk to anybody
anymore.
And he's like, yo, give me takea nap.
So we actually went went back, disappeared, took a nap before
the the party at night, right?
Like the the culmination partywhen it was done.
SPEAKER_01 (47:44):
For me personally,
I'm also fueling up with like
immunity boosting likesupplements and stuff, because
last time I was in Vegas I gotCOVID and I really don't want to
do that.
SPEAKER_03 (47:55):
Right?
Fist.
SPEAKER_01 (47:57):
We need to have that
in our booth too.
Oh, I need to remember to bringthat.
But you know, yeah, it's it'slike you have to take care of
yourself.
Also, you're in the desert inthe summer, like stay hydrated.
SPEAKER_03 (48:07):
I'm not going out.
SPEAKER_01 (48:08):
Yeah, staying
inside.
SPEAKER_03 (48:10):
If it doesn't have
an AC, I don't have to be along.
SPEAKER_01 (48:12):
Yeah.
So um, one little like aspect ofthis that I think will really
especially apply to people whoare doing the virtual um live
stream side of it is to setaside time.
Like you think about okay, having the resources that you
need, like snacks and drinks, but also time is a huge resource
(48:32):
that you have control over.
And like, even if, like I wassaying earlier, even if you can
only attend for like one day orlike part of a day, like set
that time aside and block it offand put your phone on, do not
disturb, and like lock in andmake it count because there is
so much to gain, and nobody elseis gonna set that resource aside
for you.
(48:52):
If anything, you know, it'sgonna be people are gonna be
snatching at it all the time.
Distractions are always gonnacome around, right?
So block some time off foryourself and minimize
distractions as much as you can.
And that will be like your fuel.
That time, right, is your fuelto like actually take in some
stuff and learn it and be ableto apply it later.
SPEAKER_03 (49:14):
Yeah.
I think I think we pretty much, you know, hit a lot of points
there.
Um, if you guys don't feel ityet, we w we really want you to
join eBay open.
And this is just us wanting thecommunity that we have been a
part of to be involved.
I think the last line there thatwe all said uh during that um
(49:36):
video that we were making islevel up.
Yeah.
Uh so I think there's uh uhreally good timing to be around
people that are intentionallytrying to learn and trying to
level up.
It's just the energy around theplace is gonna be good online
and in person.
So make sure uh you follow eBayfor sellers, the sponsor for
this podcast.
(49:56):
Uh make sure you keep up to datebecause you might see our faces
pop up there.
You might.
You might, you know.
Uh and and um make sure youfollow Seller Ledger as well, uh
co-sponsor of um eBay Open aswell, and a sponsor of this
podcast.
And if you're in person, comesee us because we have a deal
(50:19):
for you that you don't want tomiss.
If you don't have Seller Ledgeryet, if you haven't signed up
for Seller Ledger yet, we have adeal that's never been given to
anybody else that's gonna beexclusive, and it's gotta be
done in person or maybe throughour DMs.
We got you.
So we will see you in the nextepisode.
Peace.
(50:39):
See ya.
unknown (50:40):
Bye.
