This is the one, the Ahsoka episode! Adam joins me for a (lit, tbh) long hour-plus discussion of the show so far, at the end of this episode! Let's do it.
Podcast notes for this episode: http://sensationalshegeek.weebly.com/full-archive/ep104-ahsoka-hour-the-star-card-knight-terrors-wrap-up-gotham-war-explained-fall-of-x-catch-up-more-comicsmangaanime
Kicking it off with TAROT 00:05:46 and our Card of the Week, #17: the Star! After the history and symbolism, I cover the card's Interpretation/Meaning 14:55, and finally the always fun Pop Culture references 18:00 and summary.
MANGA segment 25:19 includes the little bits of manga news, followed by catching up on what I've been reading in the world of manga lately.
COMIC BOOKS 32:47 starting with October release news. Recent Reads/Events 39:07 including Kelly Thompson's The Cull #1, the finale of Dark Knights of Steel, plus Marvel Unleashed #1 and a ton more, all leading into catching up with the ending of Knight Terrors, which itself leads into the Batman/Catwoman Gotham War. On Marvel's side, the extensive Fall of X books have been read and summarized as well as I think is reasonable.
TV/Movies/Anime segments 1:24:59 start with everything new and noteworthy, including new English anime dubs, shows I've caught up on or started fresh, and some recent movies and one-off's that I've also enjoyed. Really quickly, there's also relevant News/Announcements 1:32:39.
Finally, (with Adam joining the discussion here) after some actually pretty solid discussion of the Harley Quinn show's finale of season 4 (and what we'd like to see in a season 5), we get to Ahsoka! The show, that is. Be warned, we saved recording this until we'd already cracked a few beers, so what you're hearing is raw, mostly unfiltered drunk nerds get excited about the Clone Wars and Rebels series' long-game outcome. Hail Filoni, tbh. It's so good to see....you get it. It's all in there, I hope the discussion isn't too wild.
I'll be back with another episode uhhhh hopefully by the end of the month! Lots going on in life atm, so scheduling my recordings have been kinda difficult. But I shall return, and Adam too! There's at least, what, 2 more Ahsoka episodes to cover? And always, always, more comics, manga, and anime. The Fall 2023 anime season will be announced soon, too! Peace out, girl scouts.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
