We start off this week with an Obituary (00:07:35) for late, great, and legendary manga creator Leiji Matsumoto. Fans and professionals alike from all kinds of art and storytelling communities had a lot to say about his man's important legacy. This had to be followed up by something lighter (0:18:44), so we have a fun live-size Gundam update!
This week's Tarot Studies (00:21:73) covers the next card of the Major Arcana: #1, the Magician! This card has some interesting and surprising history, much of which is quite different than how we view it today. For the history page I discuss in this segment, go here: https://tarot-heritage.com/from-trionfi-to-majorarcana/from-il-bagatto-to-the-magician/ and be sure t come back next week for the lesson on #2, the High Priestess!
Our Manga segment (00:36:47) contains the new Manga of the Week, for which I proudly present Boys Over Flowers, by Yoko Kamio! A highly formative story for myself personally, I was particularly excited to share Hana Yori Dango with the podcast listeners. Best selling shojo manga of all time, gang gang
(does anyone get that reference?)
The segment for Comic Books (00:50:38) starts with some brief May solicitation highlights for the "Big-Two," including what comes new that month, and some light (and frankly necessary) Marvel bashing. Don't miss the Month of March Comic Book Look-Ahead next week, where I'll be talking about what is new and/or exciting from ALL publishers this coming month! New Comic Books This Week (Feb. 21st-22nd, 00:54:08) are covered quickly, with a plethora of indie kick-offs! Recent Reads/Events (01:03:25) includes a fairly in-depth catch-up for the first two issues of Justice Society of America, which I find myself far more into than I expected!
Finally, for the TV/Movies segment (01:13:41), I go over what's new and noteworthy, including some notes on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and the adjoining MCU Fatigue. It's mostly Deadpool 3 in News/Announcements (01:22:51), and the only trailer discussed (01:24:31) is the upcoming Flash movie from DC--which I'm sure everyone has thoughts about, so let me hear yours! Last is Anime News (01:29:58) and my own personal current list, again. What are you watching this season, and what are your personal hidden gem shows?
That's all folks! Come back next week for more Tarot lessons, a new Manga of the Week, March comic book previews, and depending on the day I record, the first episode of Mandalorian season 3 reviewed! Sweat it out, in the meantime, and keep it cool.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
