trauma, stored trauma.

(00:24):

in today's world.
I'm your host, Frida Kahlbo, and I have spent the last
decade recreating my life.
I moved from Sweden to NewZealand and now live in the
beautiful bush with my husbandand two kids, homeschooling

(00:44):
and creating a life andbusiness that works for me with
the help of my sensitivity.
And support othersto do the same.
I'm excited to shareconversations with experts,
thought leaders, and fellowsensitive people who also
see the world throughthe lens of sensitivity.
Thank you so much for beinghere because it means that
you're creating sensitivesuccess too, which is

(01:05):
precisely what the world needs.
Let's get started.
Welcome back to thesensitive success podcast.
I'm Frida Karbo.
And in this episode, I'm excitedto say welcome to Julie Wilson.
Welcome.
Thank you so much.
I'm so excited to be here.
So excited to have youand Yuli Wilson is a

(01:26):
multidimensional energyhealer and psychic medium.
She began her healing journey14 years ago when fertility
issues came up She knew she wasdestined to be a mom and that
began her quest to understandenergy work and some of her
specialties include helpingpeople identify and expand
spiritual gifts connectingwith multidimensional aspects

(01:48):
clearing and healing pastlives and timeline work DNA
repair and supporting othersto step into their power.
She also works with inner childhealing from womb work to parent
child relationship cultivation.
Julie is also a wife, ahomeschooling mom who likes
to travel and spend timewith family and her dogs.

(02:09):
Wow, that's a lot.
I'm so excited to haveyou here and talk about
all these yummy things.
So Julie, tell us aboutyour journey and how you
come to do what you do.
Okay, so I've always beenkind of more connected
into the higher dimensions.
The more happy frequencies,I would say it's kind
of dense on Earth.
So from a kid, I was alwaysthe one with the imaginary

(02:30):
friend or the one kind of justreally in my imagination a lot.
And as a You know, my, myhealing journey started,
I, there was like, Ihad a car accident and I
couldn't really work out.
And it was just like,my body started breaking
down endometriosis,all kinds of issues.
I started to realize alittle bit about, you know,
trauma, stored trauma.

(02:52):
I started, you know, howwe, how we carry things.
And sometimes it causes ourbodies to scream at us because
it's like, Hey, wait a minute.
You're not paying attentionto like, what's going on here.
So.
I kind of, you know, I, I foundmy way through certain energy
healers or self help things.

(03:12):
My mom was really into Buddhismand like the chicken soup books.
So I kind of, you know, Ifound free resources and, you
know, I started listening toeverything I could find on
YouTube from like Eckhart Tolleor somebody who was, you know,
Matt Cann, somebody who just, you know, I resonated with.
And as soon as I had my firstenergy healing session, I
was like, I have to knoweverything about this.

(03:33):
This is amazing.
It brought me back to.
My childhood joy.
And I was like, I, I'm notcrazy because, you know, you
feel energy, you're sensitive, you feel all these things.
And sometimes if you don'thave a name for it, or if
you don't have the communityor the outlet to help you
understand it, you just feellike you're like the only
person out there that, you know.
feeling all of these thingsand everyone else is just

(03:53):
going around like doingthe nine to five and you're
like, what is going on?
Why is everyone elsenot like reacting?
So I felt like she got meand I was like, finally
somebody gets, you know, allof these things I'm feeling.
I'm not crazy.
This isn't, you know, abnormal.
And it can actuallybe a superpower.
Our sensitivities, as long aswe're not absorbing what other
people around us are carrying,it can be a superpower.

(04:16):
And once you start to clearout some of that gunk that
you don't need and thatcrap that you're carrying,
that's just extra baggage.
My body started healing, Istarted feeling better, you
know, the symptoms, things thatyou only need surgery for, you
can only do this to clear out,all of a sudden they weren't
there anymore, and I was like, well, there's something to
this, so I started learningmodalities, the Akashic Records,

(04:37):
DNA work, you know, quantumhealing, things like that, so
that I could help other peopleas well, because I, I had such
a change with my own life, that I thought, you Why not?
You know what I mean?
Learn some of these thingsand share it because it
was such a miraculous, you know, change for me.
And it was such a hardjourney, you know, sometimes
it's like you go, you haveyour ups and downs, you go
through your emotional, youknow, scale and support and

(05:01):
other people who understandcan definitely help make that
an easier and easier process.
So.
You know, that's a littlebit, a little bit about
my journey in a nutshell.
Love that.
Yeah, it's, it's interestinghow, how our own challenges
become something that, yeah,I, I need to help someone
else with this as well.
So how do we know thatenergy work is real?

(05:24):
So I feel like it's one ofthose things that yes, it's
not like a tangible, youcan put a picture to it.
So sometimes we don't, we maynot feel like it's actually
doing anything or working, but.
I feel like it's avery individual journey
to understand it.
And once you start connectingin with your higher self, I feel
like the intuitive nudges andyou can feel it within yourself.

(05:46):
So let's say you, you neverworked with someone else.
If you just connect withyourself, meditate, stay
present, your body and your lifeis going to shift and change.
And it's, it's going to beone of those things that
you're going to have togive it a little bit of
time to see the results.
But I don't, I feel like if youjust, you know, Do the things
connect in with yourself, even just like meditation or

(06:10):
walking meditations or thepresent practices, nervous
system work, like all of thatstuff can totally help you
heal and change your life.
And so by doing the things.
You'll understand as yougo, but like, just to say,
how do we know it works?
I feel like it was just aprocess that I experienced
and it's feedback from myclients and it's like living

(06:32):
and embodying those You knowthose things and there's others
a lot of times where i'll havea session with someone and
they're like I feel so good.
I feel so clear.
I feel you know, they'llbe crying they'll release
and So it's, it's one ofthose things that I don't
know if you can put it intowords, how we know it works.
I just know the feedbackand the results are
like my proof, you know.

(06:54):
Yeah, absolutely.
So you do this amazing workwith, uh, psyche and with the
healing and, and mediumship andhow do you balance that with
homeschooling and like those,I feel there's quite a bit
of different energy in those.
Oh my gosh, it totally is.

(07:14):
And I feel like it's, it's agood balance though, because
my daughter's very grounding.
And so I feel like, likeshe's all in her child energy.
And so even though she's 10 andshe's a little older, she kind
of brings me back down into mygrounded, you know, we got to
do the schoolwork where, youknow, we got to walk the dogs,
we got to play, you know, cleanthe house and stuff like that.
So I feel like it'sa very good balance.

(07:35):
You know, I have my calls,I have my sessions, I
have my content creation, stuff like that.
And then I have, I have herand I have the very human,
you know, part of our life.
So it's, it's a beautifulbalance right now.
Really?
And I feel like it's good.
And my husband, he's supersupportive of my spiritual
journey, but he's not reallyinto any of this meditation
and stuff like that.

(07:56):
So he's always justlike, you do your thing.
I support you.
I love you.
But he's very let's watcha movie and like, you
know, the comedy guy.
And so he's very good for metoo, because he's like the
opposite end of the spectrum.
So I feel like because ofthat, like, I feel like I have
a good balance of people whoare You know, kind of pulling
me back into, you know, thephysical when I've been too

(08:16):
much in the, in the higherdimensions for too long doing
work or something like that.
Sounds awesome.
And how do you take the timeto really step into to those
higher dimensions, as you said, because it can be easy when
you have family and husbandand all of those things around
you that needs time and energy.

(08:38):
And so how do you reallymake the time for that?
So it works really wellbecause my husband and my
daughter, we, we also havea cleaning business that he
pretty much handles most of.
So our scheduleis very flexible.
They like to sleep in.
So every morning, I havea good, like, 3, 4 hours
that I'm an early riser.
I get up early.

(08:58):
I usually go to bed early.
They always laugh that I'mlike 90 year old woman because
it's like 9 o'clock and I'mlike, that's my bedtime.
I gotta get to bed.
Um, so I, that's my time.
That's my time to meditate, toconnect in, to prepare for any
session work, anything I mighthave for the day or any kind
of courses or classes or thingsthat are kind of in the fruition
to come through for this yearto work on that kind of stuff.

(09:21):
So.
It works really well.
Um, I, I spend that time alone.
I'm not a big meditatefor hours type person.
I kind of alwayshave my channel open.
So if messages come throughor, you know, information
comes through, I'm kind ofjust like this walking, you
know, if it comes in, I'llmake a little note in my
phone and address it later, orI'll put, I have Google docs
started for, you know, thingsI'll just, you know, plop in

(09:43):
a little bit of information.
So that's, that's really,I think you really need
anybody who has a business.
I don't care what it is.
And you're trying tohomeschool or you're trying
to wear multiple hats.
You have to have good timemanagement, a good schedule
in place, like self caretime, time when you just have
your own time or your, youknow, your free time that
you're not working becauseI've at home businesses, too.

(10:06):
I feel like a lot of usdon't have off switches.
So it's like, we'rehere, we're doing it.
It's, you know, we're, we'reconstantly doing something.
So I feel like that offswitch, that fun time, all
of that is as important ashaving the time, you know, to
yourself or alone to createthe things you want to create.
Yeah, definitely.
So what do you feel is has beenthe biggest challenge for you

(10:28):
as a sensitive in business?
The biggest challenge isprobably just feeling like
I'm giving everything as muchattention as it needs, you
know, because it's like, Ihave so many ideas, goals,
things I want to create andthere's, you know, it's, I don't
have a huge team or anybody.
It's kind of just.
You know, me doing the thing.
So I feel like the timemanagement piece, I feel like

(10:52):
there's a, you know, you feellike when you're in sessions
and your kids at home, am Ibeing enough as of a mom, is
she, you know, suffering becauseI'm, you know, doing this work.
So I, that's mybiggest struggle.
Cause I just, I want to giveeverybody everything, you
know, that they need the amountof energy, time, efficiency,
you know, um, commitmentthat everything needs.

(11:14):
So I would say that.
That's my biggest challenge eventhough I feel like it doesn't
it's a lot of it's in my headas if I am I am I doing enough
for everyone because everyoneis usually like you're fine
mom we're fine we're watchinga movie we're doing this we're
doing that and I'm like I'vebeen on calls all day and so
you know I I feel like that's alot for moms in general though

(11:34):
we're always worried or haveguilt we're not doing enough.
I can definitely relate to that.
So what would yousay to yourself?
Or what have you found foryourself that helps with that?
I feel like just taking astep back and not trying to
do too many things at once.
And sometimes I feel likethat stillness and just.

(11:57):
I guess patience, because it'slike, sometimes things are not
happening as fast as they needto, or you get pulled in a lot
of directions and I just have totake a minute and be like, this
is going to take longer thanit needed to maybe with school
work, or maybe with an activity.
Or something like that,or maybe it's, you know,
she's got an emotional scaleand things going on too.
So there's something wonkywith her for the day.

(12:18):
So we got to talk aboutfeelings or emotions.
And so, you know, justpatience with yourself,
with, with everything, withthe businesses, with just,
you know, knowing that nomatter what there's tomorrow,
something can be done tomorrow.
You know what I mean?
Yeah, definitely.
Great one.
So.

(12:39):
In your business, did youfeel like there was a point
when you felt like, yes, anevent or anything that you
felt like, yes, now I'vedone it, I'm successful.
So I feel like I'm an everevolving, like creation.
I've revamped mybusiness a few times.
I would say I really feel likeI'm successful now because

(13:00):
I'm not super focused on.
Any set kind of outsidevalidation or, you know,
doing it like anyone else.
I mean, it's just, I'm justdoing it the way I'm doing it.
Who's resonates with mewill resonate with me.
And I'm really excited for thoseconnections and opportunities.
And so I feel like.
When you can kind of like modelyourself around exactly what

(13:22):
feels really good to you andmaybe not what everyone else
is doing that success when youcan kind of get out of your own
way and put yourself out there, whether it's messy or it's not
super polished or you're juststarting or you're, you know,
well established that success.
It's like, I feel like it's,it's just doing the things
you're led to do becausemost of the time people who
are entrepreneurs who aresensitive business owners.

(13:46):
It's not super simple, likewe're doing, we're doing
things outside the box orwe're operating on, you
know, different businessmodels than maybe the
3D reality of the world.
And so, you know, I feellike success to me is really
just embodying who you are.
Without, you know, anoutside lens, maybe, um,
contributing to what youshould or shouldn't be doing.

(14:08):
Mm.
I love that.
How do we do that?
It's shadow work, uh, practice, sitting with the uncomfortable
feelings, sitting with whenyour solar plexus is in a knot
and you're getting, you know, like your, your mind is telling
you, you can't do it this way.
It's not going to work.
So that is an ever, everevolving practice in itself.

(14:31):
I feel like, you know.
Lots of self love toan inner child healing.
I feel like a lot of peopleforget about the inner child
as we get to adulthood.
And, you know, we've got so manyresponsibilities, but one of
my biggest, you know, things Ialways tell my clients is that
if you're not giving your innerchild attention, she can take
any kind of timeline, just likesomething externally or your

(14:55):
shadow or your ego or anythingelse can take your timeline.
So make sure you'regiving your inner child
the attention she needs.
Yeah, definitely.
And from your point of view, both from your journey as
a sensitive, but also thework that you do with your
clients, what are the biggeststrengths of being a highly
sensitive in business?

(15:17):
Just being able to feel, you know, other people,
their energy, my ownbusiness, how, how, what
feels good and what doesn't.
And I feel like beingokay with things not
working out or things not.
Like, I, I don't want to usethe word failure, but I feel
like mistakes are blessingsor, you know, failures
are, they help us grow.

(15:37):
They help us turnwhatever didn't work
into something better.
So I feel like just thatawareness with being able to
like, read the energy of thebusiness and what the collective
needs and my clients, howthey're feeling where their
density is in their body.
It's really a gift.
It's really a giftto be able to do.
And I feel like weall have that gift.

(15:57):
We all have the abilityto tap into that.
And so it's, it can, youknow, yes, there's awful
things in the world.
And yes, being sensitivecan tap you into, you know,
some, some sadness and somethings going on, but we
can also look at it as, youknow, a superpower in that.
We have the ability to becompassionate, to understand,
to feel and sense other things.

(16:18):
And we can also, you know, use it as tools to make
ourselves successful and, youknow, manifest our dreams and
desires and what we want andin doing that, if it's aligned
with changing the trajectoryof the world, then we're,
you know, we're, we're doing.
The world of service as well.
Yeah, definitely love that.
Yeah, I definitely think that weneed to step into that even more

(16:40):
as sensitive and really see,see what a beautiful gift it is.
Love that.
So what is somethingthat you wish everyone
knew about your work?
Probably just that itcan be a lot of fun.
So I feel like a lot, somepeople resist, you know, healing
work or healing sessions, because it's like, nobody
really wants to dig into someof that uncomfortable, you know,

(17:03):
emotional energies sometimes, but, you know, there's,
there's fairy adventures.
There's like creator dragonsthat can come in and it
can be very playful andvery fun and very, you
know, I have, I have a.
A client that I alwaysthink of when I get asked
questions like this, becauseher higher self is hilarious.
So we sit through the call and, like, 2 little, like, school

(17:24):
girls are cracking up half, youknow, half of the time at the
messages and the energies thatshe, her higher self brings in.
So I feel like that wouldbe the thing I would say.
It doesn't have to beall the heavy lifting.
It can be fun.
Healing can be fun, likedancing, you know, moving, even
if it's not in session with me,that kind of stuff can shift
energy, just like, you know, the crying or the journaling or

(17:45):
the trying to unearth some ofthe harder, harder type things.
Hmm.
That is such a good reminder.
It's, it really is easy to seeit as, Oh, now I have to go down
and get gritty and like dig intothat, the horrible stuff, but
yeah, actually it can be funand it can be really rewarding.

(18:06):
It's usually rewarding.
So if someone is listeningto this and they feel like
they need healing, what, where can they start?
What would be a firststep that I can take?
So I would say a first step thatis really good as to focus on
simple things, like a whole PonoPono, um, mantra that they can

(18:27):
say, you know, or, um, some kindof self forgiveness, you know,
saying practice journaling isreally good, connecting in with
the energy of their chakras, you know, stretching, there is
vagus nerve resets, you It'ssuper simple, two minutes a day
to reset your nervous system, kind of getting in a habit

(18:49):
of doing something like that.
And then just five minutes inthe morning, connecting with
your higher self and meditation, maybe some kind of gamma type
music that really connects youin, you know, and, and just
make that commitment to connectin with your intuition or
whatever you want to call it.
It doesn't haveto be higher self.
It's your intuition.
It's your higher self.
It's God, it's source, whateveryou want to call it, connecting

(19:11):
with some of that higher energyto kind of, you know, Because
the answers will come to you, like the answers on what you
need to do next, how you needto approach it, whatever is
breaking down with your body, the answers are all there.
If, if you can just getsilent and kind of take
the time to connect inand see what's going on.
So I would say those are, thoseare really good first steps for

(19:32):
somebody who wants to kind oftackle a healing journey, diet,
parasite, cleanses, all of thatstuff is really helpful as well.
So, you know, even just goingon a couple of days of, you
know, some healthier foods.
You know, veggies and, andfruits and leaner meats
and stuff like that, anda little bit of exercise,
you can see, you can seemajor changes in your life.

(19:54):
Mm.
So what do you think, uh, wouldbe the difference in the world
if more people did this work?
I think everyonewould be happier.
I feel like All of the angerin the world would like, I
mean, if they had a scale,I feel like it would like
downplay, you know, and go waydown on the levels because I
feel like a lot of time we'retriggered and it's just old

(20:17):
traumas or it's old things.
And we're not even reallylistening to each other.
I know there's times I cansay something and somebody
you'll, you know, it's.
My husband, especially, becausesometimes he doesn't listen
all the way, but it'll be like,I got the beginning of that,
but I, I totally spaced outwhen you said the rest of it.
And I feel like we're a lotof us are walking around,
not really hearing otherpeople, but we're reacting
to these triggers or thesethoughts or these things.

(20:38):
We think we hear from thembecause at some point, somebody,
you know, really hurt us orbullied us in school or, you
know, manipulated our energy.
And so it's, if, if morepeople did this, they would
see everything more clear.
And, you know, I feel like.
Cool.
We would just be happieras a race, as, as, you
know, a humanity, aseverything, a collective.

(21:00):
Yeah, definitely.
Yes.
I definitely thinkthat this work is more
needed in the world.
So yeah, thank you forthe work that you do.
And you have, uh, some freeYouTube channel as well.
Tell us a bit more about that.
Yeah, I have several guidedmeditations and our child
healing, um, is one of them.

(21:22):
There's a higher selfconnection, a shadow connection,
a womb healing, um, meditation.
So there's, there'sseveral options there.
Um, if you wanted to start, you know, connecting in
a little bit more andget a little groundwork,
they're not super long.
So I would, I would lovefor people to, you know, go
check out my YouTube pageand see if any of that will

(21:43):
help them on their journey.
Wonderful.
And so how do youknow where to start?
Because you have so manydifferent modalities or things
that you can start with.
How do you knowwhich one to choose?
So I feel like just ask yourintuition, like, you know,
there's so many things outthere, but really like the self
care and, you know, workingwith your physical body,

(22:05):
staying present, connectingin with your higher self.
And then ask until you get theanswer and sometimes if you're
still don't get an answer, you don't hear anything.
I like to listen to some kindof meditation music to kind
of get me more connected inand start automatic writing
and just take your penconnect in and start writing.
And if it's just scribblesor lines or gibberish, or you

(22:27):
have no idea what it looks likeat some point, you will get
words or suggestions or things.
That will start to, youknow, make, make sense.
And I feel like your higherself can guide you and can,
you know, connecting withthe higher dimensional realms
is probably the fastest wayto really, you know, start a

(22:48):
journey or a healing journeyor something like that.
Wonderful.
Thank you.
Oh, I feel there's somuch more we can dig into.
But is there anything else thatyou would like to say to those
sensitives that are listening?
Just that I'm gratefulthat they're here.
I'm grateful for you and thispodcast and people who are
talking about these kinds ofthings and, you know, you know,

(23:09):
turning Sensitivity into asuperpower instead of, you know,
the scary, I'm absorbing all theenergy of the world type thing,
because I feel like we really dohave more power than, than some
of the powers that be right now.
Want us to believe we have.
And so, you know, yeah,I think that's, that's
probably what I would say.
Wonderful.
Thank you.

(23:30):

I interview experts, celebrities, thought leaders and athletes so that we can grow our mindset, build better habits and uncover a side of them we’ve never seen before. New episodes every Monday and Friday. Your support means the world to me and I don’t take it for granted — click the follow button and leave a review to help us spread the love with On Purpose. I can’t wait for you to listen to your first or 500th episode!
