On March 19th, we talked about temptation knocking. Since then, we’ve seen more headlines where getting the information out fast mattered more than getting it right. The temptation? Reacting before knowing the full story.
Social media thrives on clicks, even if the truth gets lost in the noise. It’s easy to respond with anger before all the facts are clear. This time, it was Marvin Sapp. At first, people rushed to criticize him—before the real story surfaced. Someone who was actually at that convention spoke up, revealing that the viral clip wasn’t from this year and wasn’t what social media made it seem.
Once again, misinformation wins over truth. And once again, temptation is knocking.
