There’s some fatphobic undertones that we discuss. Personally, Cassie is a big fan of Kelly Ripa, but it’s important to recognize problematic patterns even when people we like are perpetuating them.
Our listener question is from a woman in a relationship with a woman this week and it's about how to handle differing sexual desires regarding length of time spent and the activity menu.
Then we have wins of the week where Cassie talks about her love affair with America’s government teacher, Sharon McMahon (@SharonSaysSo). Sharon recently discussed banned books and used examples of porn without backing down from her stance that censorship is bad. We encourage anyone who lives in the US to pay attention to what’s going on with local public libraries and school districts in your area!
