In This Week in Pop-Culture we’re talking about modern body positivity on the social internet from straight sized influencers. Victoria Garrick is a body positive influencer who posted a video recently showing how videos can be photoshopped as easily as photos can be. While this is wildly valuable information, we’re not convinced it doesn’t also hit the same parts of your psyche that are impacted by before and after photos which we’ve ranted about before.
Our listener question this week is from a cis woman who’s asking about how to handle a partner who is fully engulfed in diet culture and is feeling some negative effects on her relationship because of it. We discuss the ways you can address these issues with your partner and give some pros and cons of just dumping him.
Then we have wins of the week! Cassie is talking about Southwest Airlines and their extra seat policy. Hailey’s win is about playing kickball as a family!

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
