Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (or SSRI's) have long been the go-to for anxiety and depression treatment, but recently it was released that there is no direct support that depression is caused by lower serotonin levels. This is concerning but exciting. Concerning because this effectively debunks 30 years of depression treatments. Exciting because... Well, you'll have to listen!
