PMDD - Pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, can affect up to 20% of the female population yet very little is known about it.
Many of us can attest to PMS symptoms throughout our monthly cycles and 1 in 5 women may be experiencing hormonally driven symptoms that can seriously impact their quality of life.
I spoke with Dr Ceri Cashell, MBCHB MRCP MRCGP FRACGP, GP Principal (Avalon Family Medical Practice) in Australia about PMDD.
