We are excited to kick off the sixth episode of our HERstory series, a collection of stories of young Black women and girls who are leading the way for positive social change in their communities. Elizabeth Nyamwange is a junior in high school interested in computer science and gender equality She runs a nonprofit working to teach girls in vulnerable communities the basics of scientific innovation and is built a device to combat the access gap in the form of identification. She works heavily with gender equality, placing an emphasis on girls' education and economic development, and dreams of one day being able to make the tech sector more gender-responsive.
