Welcome to today’s episode! Have you ever found yourself waiting for a miracle to change your life, hoping for a sudden shift in your circumstances or a breakthrough in your struggles? Miracles are incredible—they can heal wounds, shift situations, and even provide us with glimpses of divine intervention. But as powerful as these moments can be, true and lasting transformation doesn’t start with what happens on the outside. It begins from within.

In this episode, we’ll explore how real, lasting change comes when we align our hearts and minds with a higher purpose—rooted in the truth of God’s Word. It’s not just about waiting for external miracles, but about allowing God's Word to transform the way we think, feel, and act. By meditating on Scripture, we can cultivate a positive mindset, turning away from negativity and embracing a mindset of faith, hope, and gratitude.

So, if you’re ready to dive into how God’s Word can lead to a transformation in your thoughts and your life, stay tuned. Let’s unlock the power of positive thinking, rooted in faith, and discover how true transformation begins from within.

Scripture: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." (Romans 12:2)

'cause I wanna make sure thatthe content that I'm providing

from. I don't wanna put out anytype of, I don't wanna put out
trash. Okay? I don't wanna dothat. So that being said, I

(03:31):
wanna go ahead and get intotoday's episode. We're going to
be talking about seven waysthat you can train your brain
to think positive thoughts.
Okay? Listen, I woke up thismorning, I laid in bed, staring

(03:56):
at the ceiling and just startedthinking, okay, I thought to
myself, life is good. My kidsare doing well. My mom is okay.
It felt so good to soak in thatgratitude, but then like
clockwork, those negativethoughts try to sneak in and I

(04:21):
had to shut 'em down fast. Iliterally had to start praying.
And I know that y'all have beenthere too, 'cause we all have
those moments. Nothing unusualabout it, right? But how do you
train your mind not to slipback into that negative

(04:43):
stinking thinking? So here'sthe deal. Over the next seven
days, I'm going to share sevensteps that have helped me to
tackle those negative thoughtsand start activating more
positive ones. I'm going tobreak down each one, one by one

(05:05):
each day so you will have timeto process each step and to
learn how not to let negativitytake control . Yep . So every
day for the next week, you'llget a little pep talk on
keeping negativity out so youcan make room for more peace
and positivity. 'cause that'swhat God wants for us, right?
Ain't nobody got time fornegative thought. They don't

(05:27):
serve any good purpose. Wedon't have time to be a
negative Nancy. And nobody thatI know of likes a person who is
a negative Nancy. Okay ? Sowhat we're going to do is we're
going to work on retraining ourminds together. It it's not

(05:51):
just about me, it's about youtoo. So we're gonna do this
together because I'm working onkeeping my mind positive and
keeping out those negativethoughts that like to invade.
I'm working on me as well. Sothis is just as much for me as
it is for you. So step numberone, stop waiting for an

(06:14):
outside miracle to change yourmind. Hmm . Yeah. Miracles are
incredible, aren't they? Andyes, we all need them, but real
transformation comes fromwithin baby, especially when
it's rooted in God's word. Youknow, it's so easy to think

(06:35):
I'll feel better when mycircumstances change. But
girlfriend, the truth is, mostchanges start with us shifting
our own mindset. You evernotice how when our mind is
filled with chaos, it feelslike blessings are blocked? It
is tough to see miracles whenour mind is cluttered with

(06:58):
negativity. Now I'm gettingready to go into scripture,
y'all, I'm getting ready totake you to the Bible. Romans
chapter 12, verse two says, betransformed by the renewing of
your mind. But girlfriend, thatrenewal won't happen if we keep

(07:18):
using excuses such as my mindis negative because my life is
hard. What if it's actually theother way around? Hmm . Don't
let your mind be a sidewalk forthe enemy to trample on. Jesus

(07:38):
talks about this in Matthewchapter 13, verse four, where
he says, some seeds fell alongthe path and the birds came and
ate it up. We don't want theword to be snatched away
because our mind isn't ready toreceive it . Do you understand
what I'm saying? Do you hear methink about it? Israel saw

(08:04):
miracle after miracle, but moststill doubt it . The Pharisee
watched Jesus do wonders, evenraised the dead, yet remained
unconvinced. Miracles alonedon't change minds unless we're
willing to let God's work doits work within us. So ladies,

(08:29):
today, let's commit to lettingGod's word be our standard and
not rely on circumstances tobring peace to our hearts. Yes,
miracles can boost our faith, but it's humility and openness
to God's word that trulytransforms us. If we stop

(08:53):
blaming circumstances and startworking with God to renew our
minds, that's when the realchanges begin . That's when we
start to see a difference inour circumstances. Positive

(09:15):
thinking, renews our hope, renews our joy. What good does
it do us if we're constantlythinking about the what ifs or
we're fast forwarding to thefuture and imagining all sorts
of bad things happening? Youknow, I used to do that with my

(09:39):
kids. As my children got olderand they began to have their
own independence, I became aserious worry wart. For real,
for real. My concern for mykids' safety was driving me

(10:00):
crazy. I wanted to trackeverywhere they went. I wanted
every detail, where are yougonna be? Whose house is it?
Give me their phone number. Iwant their mama's phone number,
their daddy's phone number. Ifthey got a sister, give me that
phone number too. . So Iwas just crazy, okay?

(10:29):
Absolutely crazy, just anxiousabout my children. And I
imagine all sorts of thingshappening to them. And here's
the deal. All the things that Iimagine in my mind that was not
positive, by the way, neverhappened, never happened. And

(10:53):
so I spent all that energyworrying about something, first
of all, that I could notchange. And secondly, I never
gave it to God and said, God, Iput my children in your hands.
I know that you have them. Iknow that you're going to
protect them. And you knowwhat? Lemme be honest, because

(11:16):
there were some days, many, many days where I prayed to
God, ask God to protect mychildren. Ask God to watch over
my children, to keep them safe, and bring them home before
their curfew. Ask God toprotect them while they were
driving on the road as newdrivers. And then you know what

(11:37):
I would do? I would snatch itback from God. I would take it
back and I would startworrying. So I wanna encourage
you , I that God's word says,be transformed by the renewing

(12:01):
of your mind. And what thatmeans is that you have got to
get into the word of God andbelieve what his word says.
That may mean that you mighthave to write some things down,
post it on your mirror, in yourbedroom, or in your bathroom
where you can see it every dayto decree and declare the

(12:23):
goodness of God so that you cancancel and pull down every
negative thought that presentsitself. Because one thing I
know about the enemy is thatwhen you start thinking
negative and you start to allownegativity to come out of your
mouth, the enemy will agreewith you because he wants you

(12:47):
in a state of depression andanxiety and worrying all the
time. But there is a scripturethat says that we're not
supposed to worry becausetoday, pardon me, tomorrow has

(13:11):
enough worries of its own. Whyworry about tomorrow when you
haven't even gotten throughtoday? Tomorrow's got enough
worries of its own . Live inthe moment. Live today. Do what
you can today because we allknow right, that tomorrow is
not promised . And if we wakeup tomorrow, it's a , it's the

(13:35):
beginning of a new day andwe're grateful that God decided
to open our eyes this morning.
And the way I see it, if I wokeup this morning, that means
that there is more work for meto do, that God has something
for me to accomplish. So let'sstop with the negative

(14:00):
thoughts. Let's have a clearunderstanding that waiting for
an outside miracle is not goingto help us at all. We need to
stop waiting for an outsidemiracle and work on our mindset

(14:22):
, get our mind in alignmentwith God's holy word. And I too
am learning how to do this. Sowe are learning together, girl,
we are learning together. Sobefore I wrap it up, I wanna

(14:44):
take a moment for anyonelistening who feels a tug on
their heart to step into afresh start with God. Maybe
you've been wrestling withnegative thoughts or feeling
weighed down by life'sstruggles. The truth is real
transformation begins with arelationship with Jesus. And
he's ready to meet you rightwhere you are. If you've never

(15:06):
invited him into your life, orif you feel distant and want to
reconnect, this is your moment.
Jesus promises us forgiveness, peace, and a new life when we
turn to Him. So if you'reready, join me in this prayer
of salvation, repeat after me.

(15:28):
Lord Jesus, I come to you justas I am. I recognize that I
need you in my life. I believethat you died on the cross for
my sins and rose again to givenew life. Today. I ask you to
forgive me, cleanse me, andmake me whole. I invite you to

(15:51):
come into my heart, be my Lordand Savior, and guide me every
day. Help me to walk in yourpeace, live with a renewed
mind, and find my strength inyou. Thank you Jesus, for

(16:12):
saving me and loving meunconditionally. Amen. Well,
ladies, God bless you. Thankyou for listening. And listen,
don't forget to share thispodcast with one of your sister
friends who might need to hearthis message. Okay, well, I

(16:33):
love you with the love of Jesusand have a wonderful day. Okay?
