We have so much goodness linedup for this season Interviews,
some fun things that we're goingto be doing.
I'm just like.
I'm like giddy, I'm so excitedabout it.
(00:34):
All right, so I have to tell youI have become completely
unhinged.
I keep telling my clients this,I keep telling my community
this, and I'm being so serious, like off the hook, and I'm so
excited for things to come.
Like I feel a different energyin, in things, um, I've you know
(00:57):
I and I know I'm not the onlyone Are you feeling this too?
Because I have heard it from myclients, I've heard it from
people in my community too likean energy of expansion, um, of
different boundaries, likebusinesses just blowing up, of
transformation.
I'm curious if you feel it too, because it just seems like it's
(01:20):
so off the hook for me and I'mlike it's so off the hook for me
and I'm just blown away by theenergy.
So let's talk.
Okay, let's get into theepisode, because it's a really
important one.
This is why I'm doing this asthe first one of this season,
but in today's episode, we'refacing a common yet formidable
(01:43):
adversary in entrepreneurship, okay, in really everything, but
we're talking business today,okay.
So what is it?
It's fear.
Now, you may know what I'mtalking about because you
listened to me before.
Or you may be thinking like, oh, what is she talking about?
I'm not afraid, I don't live infear, right, but here's the
(02:04):
thing there are tons and tons ofways for me to see whether fear
is holding you back.
Okay, it often looks like notspeaking your true mind, not
keeping boundaries, notcompleting tasks, if I can talk,
not putting content out therethat truly calls in your people,
(02:28):
not getting traction becauseyou lack magnetism.
I know that feels rough, right.
Procrastination, perfectionism, all the things, all the things.
These are all, more often thannot, the byproducts of fear.
(02:48):
All right, I've worked with alot of women and I see it time
and time again and it's reallyimportant to understand it.
All right, and I know I'vetalked about this before, but
you really need to stick with mefor a few minutes here, because
I see it hold people back sooften and it's so disheartening,
because I know that thepotential within you, within so
(03:13):
many women the majority of womenI talk to.
I see the potential, I know thepotential, but it's that fear
of certain things that holdsthem back, and that might be you
.
So we're going to explore for afew minutes why fear holds us
back and really how to startstepping beyond it to
(03:34):
successfully build your business.
And I know people have, youknow a lot of women I talk to.
They're like well, I've, youknow, done meditation, I've done
tapping, I've done this, I'vedone that, I get it, I get it.
But there's an actual processthat you have to go through in
order to really combat thisdemon.
(03:57):
And I call it a demon becauseit's hard.
It's hard, it held me back fora long time.
All right, I want you tounderstand that fear.
It's a natural emotion,especially when you're stepping
into the unknown territories ofbusiness building, of putting
yourself out there, ofentrepreneurship.
(04:19):
It doesn't matter how longyou've been in it.
There's always going to be fear.
Now, don't let that scare you.
Don't let it be like, oh mygosh, she's saying that there's
always going to be fear.
What am I going to do?
It's never going to work.
That's not true when I saythere's always fear.
Every time you up-level, thereis going to be that fear there.
(04:41):
What's on the other side?
Every time you take a littlestep, running an online business
can trigger all the fears, allkinds of them the fear of
failure, the fear of feelinginadequate, the fear of success
which so many people say.
(05:01):
What does that even mean?
I don't understand.
How can I fear success withwhat I want, right?
Sounds crazy, but I see it.
I felt it A lot of times.
When we fear success, it'sbecause we fear we won't live up
to the expectations of peoplecoming in.
So we kind of self-sabotageourselves so we don't bring more
(05:24):
people in right?
We fear not having enough timeto take care of all these people
, to service them right, servethem.
We fear not getting them theresults that they want.
So that's all fear of success, worry.
(05:45):
We self-sabotage because of it.
And really, fear is the brain'sway of trying to protect us
from perceived dangers.
You know this goes way back, way, way, way back, right, but
the thing is is if we let feardictate our actions, we won't
(06:10):
ever take the leap or the stepsnecessary to see our dreams come
true, to make them happen.
They're not as far out of reachas some may feel.
So how the hell do we getbeyond this?
(06:30):
That's a big question, right?
How do we do this so we don'tspend months and months or,
heaven forbid, years spinningour wheels, self-sabotaging and
all that stuff?
I've been there so I know it's aterrible spot to be in Not
making the money, not making thesheer amount of money that
(06:53):
we're truly capable of makingand everyone is capable.
Everyone has a gift.
Every single woman I've evercome in contact with has
something to offer.
It's whether you want to putyourself on that line and woman
(07:18):
up or not.
So it really comes down to achoice between the old that's in
a certain box and the newthat's stepping into the next
box.
See, the thing is, you know youjust need to step over that
(07:40):
first line to start transformingyour life.
You know people think it's like, well, I have to go from here
all the way over to there.
But that's not how you do it,right?
The key word in this istransform.
I'm not telling you to make 100changes in a 24-hour period or
(08:03):
a week, but in order to actuallysee different results, you're
going to have to make that firstdecision right now.
Right now is when you transform, when you start that process.
Right now is when you've hadenough.
(08:26):
You want different, you wantmore.
You know you're made for more, you know you're made to thrive,
you know you're made to make alot of money and not feel bad
about it.
Right now is when you take thatfirst step, first step.
(08:58):
The thing is is you cannot makea radical transformation until
you step over that first lineand declare that you are done
with old and you're steppinginto your new identity the woman
who is ready for more, thewoman who isn't going to settle
and the woman that is preparedto take more steps.
(09:21):
So here's what I want you to doright now, today.
Right now, as soon as this isover, I want you to take one
small step, just one.
I want you to just declareyourself it's a small step, but
(09:49):
it's going to have huge results.
Radical transformation, becauseit's going to set off a domino
effect.
So, right now, when this isover, I want you to go make a
post today.
Just title it I am fierce, areyou?
(10:15):
So you're asking somebody elseif they are too, so you're not
just out there saying I'm fierce, right, but you're declaring.
This is what you are now, and Iwant you to tag me in it at
fierce, fierce, mom Boss, if youdo this and I'll tell you why
(10:35):
right at the end here, okay, injust a minute Now, for some
people this could be scary asfuck.
It may or may not be for you,and if it is, I get it.
I know what it feels like.
But when you do this and youdeclare this, you will feel
(10:58):
different.
And this is the beginning ofhow we transform.
And the thing is, you couldvery well be inspiring someone
else.
You may get great comments.
You may get some funny ones too.
You might connect with people, and that's what business is all
(11:21):
about connection, right, it'sabout building relationships and
connecting.
And you may be surprised at howsupportive people actually are.
And here's the thing.
Here's the thing I really wantyou to understand the ones that
aren't.
There's a block button.
Hit that block button.
I don't care if it is your mom, your grandma, your meemaw or
(11:48):
anybody else.
If it is your mom, your grandma, your mima or anybody else, I
don't care.
They are not part of yourbusiness building if they are
not supportive.
So think about that.
You need to build your owncommunity and tribe.
That is not in today's episode, but I want you to remember that
(12:13):
it's so important.
So right now, you can do thisby going into Canva and create
an easy graphic with those words.
Or you can easily post apicture of yourself or something
and just put those words as thecaption.
Whatever you want to do andwhatever is easiest to do right
(12:36):
now, okay, don't put this offbecause you're thinking, oh, I
got to go create a graphic.
No, easy Now.
I say easiest to create becausethe post itself may not be that
easy for you.
Some it will be a walk, a walkin the park.
Some are going to sweat over it.
(12:58):
I probably would have been oneof the ones that sweats over it.
Do it anyway.
It is a small step.
Take this step, this step.
Declare yourself now.
What you do right now is thestart of either staying the same
, worrying about what everyoneelse says and does and thinks,
(13:25):
all this stuff, or it's thestart of your transformation,
because you are declaring thatyou are fierce, you are ready
Now.
You may not feel that yet, butwhat this does is trigger your
brain, trigger your mind, andthat's crucial to transformation
(13:49):
.
It's crucial.
So declare I am fierce and askthe question are you?
And if you tag me in this, you're going to get entered into
(14:13):
an amazing prize drawing thatwill take place once a month.
Tag me at Fierce Mom Boss.
It will be in the show notes soyou know exactly who to tag.
Let's have some fun with this.
Let's enjoy declaring ourselves.
This is the first step.
(14:34):
It is a small step to take Stepout of that box, across that
line, and I don't want you toforget.
Stepping out of fear is notabout removing fear entirely.
Stepping out of fear is notabout removing fear entirely.
It's about moving through itand forward it despite it.
(14:58):
It's about taking those firststeps right now, even just a
small one, and I want you toremember that every successful
woman and man that you seecrushing it out there online
(15:19):
started where you are.
Fear is universal, but itdoesn't have to be a barrier.
All right, I'll talk to youlater.
Bye, thank you.
