Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the she's
On Fire podcast and welcome to
the awakening.
This isn't just another episode.
This is the moment somethingshifts.
I don't believe you landed hereby accident.
I don't believe in that.
I believe you were pulled in,called and chosen to hear this
(00:25):
exact message at this exact time, because the version of you
that's been hiding in plainsight, she's about to burn.
This series isn't about passiveinspiration.
It's about waking up what'sbeen asleep in you, the voice
(00:49):
you buried, the fire you dimmed, the vision you almost forgot.
So if something inside you hasbeen whispering, there is more
has been whispering, there ismore.
That voice is right, there is,and it can start right now.
(01:13):
So there's a moment when yoursoul gets louder than your
excuses and you know deep inyour chest you can't go back to
the life that you've beentolerating.
Today I want to talk about thatmoment First, my moment, for
(01:40):
for a minute, and maybe yourmoment too, but I want you to
realize you may be overlookingmoments.
They're not all huge.
It didn't happen when I was on astage or making six figures or
living some highlight real life.
Nope, it happened in the mostordinary of places Standing at
(02:09):
the register in my grocery store.
My cart wasn't overflowing.
It literally had the barenecessities diapers, formula, a
couple of things to get usthrough the week.
We were on food stamps at thetime and barely living paycheck
(02:30):
to paycheck.
I swipe my card and I heardthat dreaded sound, that beeping
sound that instantly makes yourstomach drop.
That beeping sound thatinstantly makes your stomach
drop Declined.
And, of course, then thecashier gave me that polite but
(02:52):
pitying smile and in that momentI remembered food stamps didn't
actually cover diapers orformula and I had to choose
between do I feed my baby or doI make my baby clean.
(03:14):
And that's when it hit me, thispull like I've never felt before
, like something in my chest hadbeen pounding on the walls for
years, screaming let me out.
It wasn't neat, it wasn'tpretty, it was messy and
(03:40):
humiliating and terrifying, andhumiliating and terrifying.
But what I didn't realize atthe time, it was also divine.
I was done allowing thejudgment of others to run my
(04:03):
life.
It was like this moment in timeand it slowed down so much,
like I was in slow motion.
I was done.
I wasn't going to allow peoplewho are making fun of me for
(04:26):
moving my business online, fortrying to get clients seeing my
content.
I was done allowing thatjudgment to rule my life, to
keep me from moving.
To keep me from moving, to keepme silenced as I cried in my
(04:53):
car, I vowed to learn how topropel myself forward, even when
I had fear.
In that moment I was awakened.
It was like a light turned onin my soul.
Here's the thing no one tellsyou Awakenings don't just happen
(05:17):
.
Once I didn't have thatawakening and all of a sudden I
was a different person and I wasputting myself out there.
That's not the way it works.
For the greater majority ofpeople, women.
They're not these Hollywoodlightning bolts where you're
instantly transformed While Ifelt more alive, like I felt
(05:44):
like there was a fire burninginside me.
That day in the grocery storewas just the beginning.
It was the first awakening, andover the next few years there
were more.
Some quiet, like listening to apodcast late at night and
(06:07):
something coming over me andrealizing something else.
Some slow, like finallyunderstanding my worth and not
doing things just for free.
Some wildly inconvenient, likefacing an opportunity that
(06:28):
scared me so much.
I wanted to run the other way.
I wanted to run the other wayand realizing fear was actually
my compass, not my warning sign.
And every time I leaned in,every time I said yes to that
(06:51):
pull instead of stuffing it down.
My fire grew.
That she that I always talkabout, that she inside me spoke
louder.
But then came the biggest one,the loud one, what I like to
call the holy one.
(07:12):
I like to call the holy one.
This one wasn't a whisper, itwasn't slow, it wasn't quiet, it
was a roar.
It was like God reached downand grabbed me by my shoulders
and said you are here to gobigger.
(07:32):
You are here to change women'slives.
It's now time to really move.
And you know what, if I hadn'tallowed those smaller awakenings
, if I had ignored those nudges,I would have missed this one.
(07:57):
I wouldn't have had the courageor the faith or the foundation
to leap.
And I truly believe that weallow these things to come in.
(08:20):
If you're not allowing the smallones, if you're not honoring
them, how do you think the bigone is going to happen?
So hear me when I say thishonor your awakenings, even the
small ones, in your day to day, that restless feeling, note it,
(08:42):
that subtle dissatisfaction.
Realize it's a nudge, thatlittle whisper of I want more.
Believe that you can have it.
If you see someone else havingit, you can have it too.
(09:03):
The times you want to say no tosomeone, do it.
None of this is you beingungrateful.
It's your soul stretching, testing the edges of the life
you've settled for but wantdifferently.
(09:24):
And when you ignore it, youtell yourself you're not ready,
when in fact you are.
But when you lean in even alittle, you start building the
muscle you'll need when the bigone comes, and it could be any
(09:45):
moment, it could be any day, itcould be when you decide, when
you decide.
So here's what I want you to dotoday Grab a notebook, or even
the notes app on your phone, let's not make this hard.
(10:11):
I want you to write down themoments, big or small, when you
felt that pull in your chestTimes.
You felt something stirringinside of you.
I know you have them, even ifyou didn't act on it.
And then ask yourself what ifevery whisper, every nudge,
every inconvenient moment thatmade you question your life
(10:32):
wasn't random?
What if they were invitations?
What if they were the traininggrounds?
What if they were the sacredsetup for the version of you
that's about to emerge?
Because, guess what?
They were Every awakening, nomatter how small, was preparing
(11:00):
you.
And it can be this one right now.
It can be the big one, it canbe the divine one, it can be the
divine one, the one you can'tignore anymore.
So don't, don't dismiss it,don't downplay it, don't push it
to the next month or nextMonday or whatever it is.
(11:21):
The fire in your chest is not acoincidence, it is a calling,
and this isn't just a podcast.
This is your ignition.
This is the moment you stopcircling the life you want and
step into the fire that willbuild it.
(11:43):
I'll talk to you on the nextone.
