Every year the Golden Goose Award recognizes researchers whose seemingly obscure, federally-funded research has led to major breakthroughs. We have gotten to be a part of these incredible projects for the the past 8 years, helping to spread the awareness of the impact of each of these projects. On this episode, Kyle and Shannon join us to speak about their experience working together to bring these scientific discoveries to life.
Winners are honored every year at an award ceremony in Washington, D.C., where Members of Congress of both parties speak to the importance of the award and of federal funding of scientific research. This year the 12th Annual Award Ceremony will be held on September 27, 2023 #GGA23
