Chase The Wind.  Part 2     Pastor David King 

 (James 4:7-8) 7 So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. (NLT)

 (James 4:2) You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. 

(James 1:5) If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 

 (Hebrews 10:36) You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. 

 (Isaiah 55:8) “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. 

(1 Corinthians 2:14) The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 

(Hebrews 12:1-2) 1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  

(John 10:4-5) 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” 

(Jeremiah 29:13) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 

(Psalm 37:4) Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. 

(Proverbs 3:5-6) 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. 

(Philippians 4:6-7) 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
