People Who are Hard to Forgive
(Matthew 26:48-50) 48 Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” 49 Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him. 50 Jesus replied, “Do what you came for, friend.” Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. (NIV)
(Romans 5:6-8) 6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still

(Matthew 18:21-22) 21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy seven times. (NIV)
(Matthew 6:14) For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.(NIV)
How do you forgive like Jesus?
(Luke 23:34) Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. (NIV)

(Matthew 5:43-44) 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, (NIV)
3. __________ them.
(1 Peter 3:9) Do not do wrong to repay a wrong, and do not insult to repay an insult. But repay with a blessing, because you yourselves were called to do this so that you might receive a blessing. (NCV)
4. The ______________ forgive.
(Ephesians 4:31-32) 31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. (NIV)
