Episode 136: Do you Bo lieve?

We are back! After a brief 2 week hiatus the boys of Shootin Shit are here to chew gum and talk shit and we are all outta gum! It’s been a while since we were together so yes, we spend the first few minutes talking, joking, and just checking in with each other. Then the fun starts! We get a rare pre-show topic about wresting fandom before we start really rolling this episode. We play audio from the fans at Clash and break down the emotions that they felt! This transitioned into a little CM Punk vs Drew talk and then…… We hit the ground hard with some prohibited portal talk! Joey K steals the segment with his Joe Hendry take which begs the question ….Do you believe in Joe Hendry? Also, will we see a NXT belt on a TNA wrestler? After we talk up how much the WWE is helping TNA, we shift gears to the company that didn’t really help TNA, AEW. We talk about this big time fued with Swerve and Ospreay. It feels like AEW wants to put the belt on Ospreay. We will see if they follow through with the terrible booking decision. Talking about bad booking, this spun into a quick who killed WCW and AEW comparison. You know we have been vocal about the pitfalls in AEW, but the similarities to WCW stick out in the new show! Which begs the question how long does AEW have left!? As we start to wrap up the show we of course had to hit the biggest faction debut in recent memory! The Wyatt 6, sicks, are here! We talk the amazing cinematography that went into the reveal, the nods to Bray, this feels intentional and it’s making us excited! Oh yea we also had to throw in a little whataburger chat!
