he saw God's promised land tohim and his people. For 40 years
they have been wandering in thedesert because of their
disobedience to God. God hadused Moses to rescue the
Israelites from slavery in Egyptand promised them a land flowing
with milk and honey. Okay, itwasn't physically milk and

(00:54):
honey.
Imagine walking and the momentyou step into the promised land,
you get stuck in honey then youspot streams of ice cold milk,
and you realize that you forgotthe cookies bummer. The land was
a sign of their freedom, hopeand future with God. However,

(01:15):
during their journey from Egypt,God noticed that they had some
growing pains to work out. Heshared his playing with Moses
and told him that he would beable to lead the Israelites up
to it but not in. so Mosesraised his successor, Joshua.
standing on the hilltop, gazingand slightly nervous with Moses

(01:38):
gone, Joshua knew he was thenext leader of the Israelites
and would take them into thePromised Land. There was only
one issue as he gazed and sawthe beautiful promised land and
the distance. He also sawJericho Jericho was a fortified
military city. It wasstrategically positioned to see
and stop everyone from enteringinto the land. What was Joshua

(02:02):
to do? Even more uncertain thanhe would get into the promised
land?

God (02:19):
Joshua Oh, Joshua.

Joshua (02:24):
God, I can't. It's impossible.

God (02:28):
I will be with you.
Wherever you may go.

Joshua (02:33):
I'm lost. Everyone is depending on me.

God (02:39):
I am with you, Joshua, be strong and courageous.

Joshua (02:47):
I feel alone God, this burden is heavy.

God (02:51):

I am with you. Always.Do you notknow that I am your strength. I
am your courage and so.... Youwill lead to the promise land.

God (03:51):
Joshua behold with music and Marching. By this holy
worship, the mighty walls ofJericho will fall.

Narrator (04:10):
Joshua received the super secret amazing not secret
complex, well known so not socomplex and rather simple battle
plans from God and shared itwith the Israelites.

Joshua (04:22):
God has given us Jericho

Israelites (04:27):
Um...please excuse me, general Joshua, sir.

Joshua (04:30):
Yes.

Israelites (04:31):
How has he given it if we don't have it yet? I'm
confused.

simple. We will march and playmusic!

Israelites (04:46):

Are you tired of walking on sand? Do your sandals
have holes? Do your feet dirty?

your feet will feel loved andprotected by sand. Buy buy Buy.

Israelites (05:15):
Oh, that's better.
Let's go!

Narrator (05:20):
They trusted and believed that God had given them
Jericho and obeyed God. Eventhough it was a weird plan. They
had heard of God's amazingrescuing power, and now they
were living it. They marchedaround the city once a day for
six days.

Israelites (05:39):
These new kick are working out well. Six days or an
hour can't wait until tomorrow.
Let's go eat.

Narrator (05:49):
Now the Isralites are marching and that walk around
Jericho spending an estimatedhalf mile the Israelites are in
Super shape from roaming thedesert for 40 years. And their
numbers were in the 1000s. InJoshua chapter four, verse 13.

(06:09):
people. Imagine 40,000 militarymarching, playing instruments
each day, and then multiplyingthat with yelling... shockwave
to the walls. God knew what Hewas doing. Joshua led the
Israelites for an entire week.
Simply marching and playinginstruments. On the seventh day.

(06:33):
It was a game changer!

Joshua (06:40):
God told us to do this and we have faith that He will
guide us and give us where hepromised a land to live to be
free in Atlanta worship Him andgrow with him in a land flowing
with milk and honey. The momentwe do the walls of Jericho will
crumble. And the promised landwill be ours. 123
