Penn State got punched in the mouth against Pitt in Hershey on Sunday and it wasn't pretty, We talk about it and preview the end of the non-conference schedule against NC Central and the resumption of conference play against the Illini in the Palestra.
Meanwhile, we discuss who is to blame for this subpar performance thus far for the Nits and how they can turn the corner.

One of the longest winning streaks in the country came to an end on Saturday with Penn State's lost to Providence. However, many of the same issues that have plagued the Nits since the start of the season came back to rear their ugly head earlier in the week in a close win against Harvard. We break it all down and preview what hopefully will be a get right week against two subpar opponents at home.

Penn State starts 2-0 for the 4th consecutive season and did so in 2 wildly different fashions. We're back to break down the good, bad, and the ugly from week one of the 2025-26 season.
After that, we preview what is expected to be the first 2 moderate tests of the young season with a Veterans Day matchup against Navy looming before the Nits hit the road again for a matchup in Philly against La Salle.
Season 4 of SGF is just about here and this may be the most challenging one yet for us considering low expectations and new faces on the floor. We're back to give you our best guess as to how this team will look on Monday night after catching both exhibition games earlier this month.
On top of this, we will preview the season opener Monday against Fairfield and the much discussed road contest at New Haven next weeken...
The Big Ten schedule was released this week and we're back to break it down game by game to complete our predictions for the upcoming season! We also give you our 3 bold predictions each and talk a bit about what our personal expectations are for the team this year.

We're back to kick off season 4 of SGF with our annual game of Name That Conference, as the 2025-26 PSU non-conference schedule has been released. Evan and Steve go game by game and provide their thoughts on how year 3 of the Mike Rhoades era will kick off.
We also talk about the buyout of the VCU home and home series and discuss Coach Rhoades becoming the first ex-VCU coach not to return to Richmond to compete.
Not the outcome we were looking for out of TBT weekend but we are nonetheless back to recap all that went wrong for the Happy Valley Hoopers against the Raleigh 919 Legends Friday afternoon.
We also ponder the question what will this Happy Valley Hoopers team look like next year should they return for Year 4 and who would make a welcome addition to the roster?
