Speaker 1 (00:06):
One day three little kids named Orion, bodhi and Kaya
were all super excited becausetoday they were going to an
orchard.
They were going to get to dosome apple picking.
Now they were in the cardriving to the orchard and they
were talking about all theexciting things that they were
going to do.
I want to pick one of the redones, said Orion.

(00:26):
I like the red one too, saidBodhi.
I like the green one, said Kaya.
Green green, green, green green.
Yes, the green ones are fun too, but I wonder how many
different types of applesthere'll be.
I bet there's going to be lots.
I hope the trees are completelycovered.
As the car drove into the carpark of the orchard, the kids

(00:47):
could see all the trees, look atthem all, said Bodhi.
Yeah, said Orion.
There's so many apples.
Yeah, said Kaya, I'm going toeat them all.
The kids jumped out of the carand raced in towards the orchard
.
They went over to the man thatwas running the farm.
Okay, he said.
Now go have lots of fun, pickas many apples as you like, but
just be careful for the secretapples.

(01:07):
Secret apples, said the kids.
What are the secret apples?
Well, I can't tell you.
That, said the man.
It's a secret.
So the kids went racing off intothe orchard, starting to look
for some apples.
Alright, I'll pick this one, said Orion, and this one.
Oh, look at this one, saidBodhi.
It's so red, I'm eating apples.
Eating apples, said Kaia, asshe had found three different

(01:29):
apples and she was sitting onthe ground taking bites out of
them, all one by one.
What's it taste like, saidBodhi.
Amazing, said Kaia.
Yeah, they're good apples, aren't they, said a voice.
Who?
Who said that?
Said Orion, it was me.
All of a sudden, out from behindone of the apple trees, stepped
a teddy bear.
Who, who are you?

(01:51):
Said Bodhi.
I'm Teddy Winkle and I loveapples Me too, said Kaya.
Oh, yeah, good work.
Have you found the secretapples yet?
Secret apples, said the kids.
We heard about them, but wedon't know where to find them.
Well, this is your lucky day, because I know exactly where to

(02:12):
find them.
Really, said Orion.
Really, said Teddy Winkle, comeon, follow me.
So the three kids startedrunning along with Teddy Winkle,
the teddy bear, and lookingthrough all the different rows
of apples.
Is it this row, said Orion.
Not this row, said Teddy Winkle, the teddy bear, and looking
through all the different rowsof apples.
Is it this row?
Said Orion.
Not this row, said Teddy Winkle.
What about this one?
Said Bodhi, not this one.

(02:32):
What about this one, said Kaya.
Um, they're grapes, not apples.
Oh sorry, said Kaya, but that'sthe trick they are down this
one.
What said the kids?
Come, follow me.
The kids started running downthe row with the grapevines
instead of the apple trees.
As they got halfway down, theycould see hey, why does that
grapevine have different coloredgrapes on it?

(02:54):
It seems that they're all redones, except for this little
section here, said Orion.
Are they blue?
Said Bodhi.
Haha, you found the secretentrance.
What Said the kids?
Secret entrance, all right, pick one of the blue grapes and
see what happens.
Okay, so the kids each picked ablue grape.
As they picked it, the vinestarted to open up and behind it

(03:17):
there was some kind of doorway.
Come on, let's go, said TeddyWinkle.
So Teddy Winkle and the kidswalked through the little
doorway behind the vine with theblue grapes and inside there
were some sparkling apple trees.
Whoa, said the kids.
These must be the secret apples.
They are, said Teddy Winkle, and they're amazing.

(03:40):
All right, now, when you'repicking the secret apples,
you've got to be very careful.
Why is that?
Said Orion.
You've got to be careful not todrop them.
How come, said Bodhi.
Oh, I can't tell you that,that's a secret.
Okay, said the kids.
All right, now, everybody pickone each.
It's important that you onlypick one and that you're very,

(04:02):
very careful.
Okay, said the kids.
Now choose wisely, said TeddyWinkle.
The kids started looking at allthe trees, trying to work out
which one was the right apple topick.
As they looked, bodhi noticedsomething.
Um, can anybody else hear that?
No, they said it seems to besome kind of noise.

(04:24):
It's a very nice noise, butwhere's it coming from?
I can't hear anything, saidOrion.
Me either, said Kaya.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, said TeddyWinkle, why are you laughing
like that?
Said Orion.
Oh ha ha, you'll see.
As Bodhi listened, he started tofollow the noise until it's

(04:44):
coming out of this apple.
He said what does that mean?
Said Teddy Winkle, I think thisis the apple I'm meant to pick,
said Bodhi.
So he reached up with two handsand carefully pulled out the
apple.
Oh, it tingles in my hands, said Bodhi.
I can hear a noise, said Orion.
Follow it, said Teddy Winkle.

(05:06):
So Orion followed the noisethat he could hear.
It was a sweet sound that onlyhis ears could pick up.
And it led to an apple as well.
Look at it, said Orion.
It's so shimmery.
He pulled the apple from thetree.
It's buzzing in my hands.
Hold on tight, said TeddyWinkle.

(05:28):
Then Kaya started spinningaround in circles.
Kaya, what are you doing?
Said Bodhi.
Yes, said Orion, you look likeyou're having fun.
I can hear the noise, said Kayaas she spun around and around
and around.
It's coming from this.
Way she raced off between twoof the trees, or is it this?
Way she ran off between two ofthe other trees.
Way she ran off between two ofthe other trees.
Oh, it's here, she said.

(05:49):
Whoa, said the boys.
That's that's.
That's the biggest apple I'veever seen, said Teddy Winkle.
Kaya reached up and grabbed anapple the size of a basketball.
I think it's this one.
She said as she pulled theapple off the tree.
All right, kids, kids, let's gosee what they can do.

(06:12):
Do, said the kids.
What do you mean?
Don't you just eat them?
No, don't eat it.
Oh, okay, said Orion.
Come on, let's go.
So Teddy Winkle and the kidswent back out the secret door,
in the secret vine, back intothe apple orchard.
They were carrying their applesas they went.
They were very tingly and verystrange and seemed to be doing

(06:34):
something very, very peculiar.
Um, okay, they said what do wedo?
Now?
We're being very, very carefulwith them.
Now, said Teddy Winkle, we havean apple fight.
What said the kids?
Ha ha, that's the special thingabout the special apples.
We have an apple fight.
What said the kids?
That's the special thing aboutthe special apples they're for a

(06:55):
very special apple fight.
An apple fight.
Don't worry, no one gets hurt.
That's what they're designedfor.
Oh, okay, so how do we have anapple fight?
Well, I count to three and thenyou throw your apples at each
other and see what happens.
Really, said the kids.
Really, said Teddy Winkle, ashe pulled out a secret apple of

(07:19):
his own and I'm gonna join intoo.
All right, is everybody ready?
One, two, three, yelled TeddyWinkle.
As Teddy Winkle yelled three, the kids ran off in different
directions carrying their secretapples.
Then, when Orion spotted Bodhiaround the corner, he threw his
towards him.
But when he threw it, it didn'tjust fly through the air.
Something strange happened.
His apple sprouted wings.

(07:40):
Then it started flying aroundBodhi and tickling him.
Oh, hey, hey, who's doing?
Hey, is that your apple?
He yelled out.
Orion was laughing so hard as hewatched his apple tickling his
brother.
I'm going to get you, saidBodhi, as he threw his apple
over towards Orion.
When he threw it, it started topop out airplane-type wings and

(08:01):
it started flying through theair like a little apple fighter
jet.
Shoo shoo, shoo, shoo.
Wow, said Orion, trying to runaway.
But as he tried to run, thetiny little apple fighter jet
started blasting him withping-pong balls.
Boop, boop, boop.
Hey, said Orion as he startedrunning away.
That's so funny.
A ping-pong ball bopped him onthe head and flew up into the
air.
This is hilarious.

(08:22):
Then his apple flew back to hishands and Bodhi's apple flew
back as well.
I wonder what will happen whenwe throw him next time.
They ran around the corner andthere was Kaya standing with her
gigantic apple.
Um throw, she said.
Uh-oh, said the boys.
And with that Throw, she saidUh-oh, said the boys.
And with that Kaya lifted herapple over her head and threw it

(08:42):
towards her brothers.
Take cover, yelled Orion asBodhi and Ryan dove behind two
of the apple trees.
Kaya's apple exploded into tinybits of apple everywhere.
It's like apple stew, saidOrion, yes, said Bodhi, and
we're coming.
Hooray, said Kaya, and hoorayfor me, because I've got my

(09:06):
apple.
Ready kids.
Teddy Winkle threw his in themiddle and when it landed it
split into slices of apple.
Then all the slices of applestarted spinning around in the
air.
Mine's a bit different.
Open up, said Teddy Winkle.
Oh okay, said the kids.
They opened their mouths and,as they did, a slice of apple
flew into each of their mouths.

(09:26):
Yum, this is amazing.
So much fun.
Orion and Bodhi threw theirapples in the air again and
their little plane applesstarted flying around in circles
.
There were the kids sitting inthe middle of the apple orchard
chewing on the most deliciousapple they'd ever seen, while
two little flying apples werezooming around the outside,
blasting them with ping pongballs and tickling everybody,

(09:48):
and they were completely coveredin apple stew.
It was very funny.
The kids laughed and played andlaughed and played all
afternoon with their supersecret apples that kept
exploding and turning back intoapples and flying around through
the sky and turning back intoapples.
At one stage, all their appleseven turned into little toy

(10:10):
figurines and they startedtalking to each other and
pretending to have a tea party.
The kids were very confused, but it was the most fun they had
ever had.
As they were playing, theyheard a voice from the entrance

The kids picked up this veryspecial apples that had reformed
into apples again and walkedback towards the entrance.

(10:32):
As they were walking past theman that ran the orchard, he
looked.
Wow, they look like somespecial ones, he said, as he
winked at the kids.
What was that man talking about?
Said their mum.
Well, said the kids, we don'tthink you'd believe us, even if

I'm gonna throw mine one moretime, said Kyle.
What said their mum?
The apple exploded once more.

(10:55):
