Speaker 1 (00:06):
One day, a little boy named Ethan was sitting in his
room.
Now he was playing with hislittle toy train set, driving
them round and around on thetracks.
He was having lots of funbecause he'd made all kinds of
very exciting tracks that hadgood little turns and weaves and
all sorts of things.
As he was playing, though, heheard a noise from on his roof

(00:26):
Bonk, bonk, oh, maybe here.
What is that?
He thought.
He walked over towards the doorto try and listen more
carefully.
Um, hmm, maybe we could.
All of a sudden, through hisroof fell a man with a toolbox.
Oh dear, what just happened?

(00:49):
What are you doing here, saidEthan.
And who are you?
Oh, hello, my name is Bonego.
Um, hi, bonego, what are youdoing in my room?
Well, I was on your roof workingon my newest invention, and it
turns out that the roof was notstrong enough for me.

(01:10):
What's your newest invention,said Ethan.
Well, you see, this Benigo washolding some kind of strange
satellite dish that had someextra pokey bits on the sides.
Um, what is it, said Ethan.
Ah, it is a very speciallistening device.
You can listen to things fromall around the entire world.

(01:32):
What said Ethan?
Yes, and it is very specialbecause you can even talk back.
Talk back, said Ethan.
Yes, said Benito.
Would you like to give it a try?
Um, sure, that sounds like fun,but first we need to find a
better place to sit it, because, turns out, your roof was not
strong enough for me.

(01:53):
And hang on, let me just fixthe roof first.
How are you going to fix theroof?
Oh, yes, I have made veryspecial robots that are very
good at building.
Hang on, benigo bent down andopened up his toolbox and
started pulling out these tinylittle robots Building, building
, building.
Yes, my robots, it is time todo some building, building,
building, building, said thelittle robots.

(02:14):
Okay, so see this giant hole inthe roof that somebody might
have fallen through.
Definitely not me, but somebodymay have fallen through that
roof.
Do you think that you can fixit?
Build, build, build, build, build, build, build, said the
robots.
As they started running aroundthe room, they were very excited
and they got to work.
Okay, ethan, we can leave thebuilding robots to do the

(02:36):
building and the fixing of theroof while we go find a new
place to try my brand newinvention.
It needs a name.
Can you think of a special namefor it.
Um, said Ethan.
Let me think.
Um, maybe we could call it theSound Sucker.
Oh, that is a great name, because it can suck in sounds

(02:57):
from all over the world.
It would be very exciting, butwe need somewhere high to set up
to be able to use it.
Well, we could use my treehouse, said Ethan.
Fantastic dig, said Benigo.
Let us go.
So Ethan and Benigo walkedoutside and climbed up the
ladder to Ethan's treehouse.
Once they were up there, benigostarted tinkering with his

(03:17):
machine and pointing it in alldifferent directions.
Okay, let me find somethingvery interesting to listen to.
Okay, let's point it that way.
What are we going to hear, saidEthan.
Well, I have a friend who livesin a jungle on the other side
of the world.
I think this is pointed at hishouse.
Really, said Ethan.
Really, said Benigo.
So they pointed the listeningdevice in that direction.

(03:42):
Okay, press the button now, said Benigo.
So Ethan pressed the big redbutton on the sound sucker and
and the noise started to comethrough.
One banana, two banana, threebanana, four.
Who's that?
Said Ethan.
Hey, who said that?
Hello, barry, is that you?
Yeah, it's me, barry, thegorilla.
Who's talking, barry?

(04:02):
It is Bonigo.
Bonigo, how are you talking tome?
Well, we have made a veryspecial new invention that lets
us talk to people on the otherside of the world and hear what
is going on.
Oh well, I'm just collectingmore bananas, said Barry.
Um, what else do you want tolisten to?
Um, what do you think?

(04:22):
Um, I've been practicing thedrums.
Want to hear me play the drums?
Said Barry the gorilla.
Definitely, said Ethan.
All right, hang on.
They could hear Barry theGorilla moving over towards his
drum kit.
Oh, sorry, kicked over mecymbals.
Hang on, he stood it back upagain.
All right, are you ready tohear my new drum solo?

(04:44):
Said Barry the Gorilla.
Yes, said Benigo.
Go for it.
Said Ethan, here we go.
One, two, three, four.
Barry the gorilla startedsmacking the drums and playing
them very, very quickly.
Ethan and Benigo were listeningto the drums from the treehouse
and having a wonderful time.
Let's do some drum dancing, said Ethan.
So Benigo and Ethan starteddancing to the drum beat as

(05:07):
Barry the gorilla continued toplay from his jungle on the
other side of the world.
And that's the end, said Barry.
That was fantastic, said Ethan.
Yes, very good drumming, Barry.
You are getting very, very good.
Okay, we are going to go listento some other things now and
say hello to some other people.
Is that okay?
Um sure, all right, see youguys later.

(05:28):
Bye, buddy, bye, yelled outEthan.
See you guys later.
Bye, buddy, bye, yelled outEthan, see you later, said Barry
, and they ended the sound.
Sucker call.
That was so cool.
What else can we listen to?
Well, I wonder, I wonder, if itcould go under the ocean.
Under the ocean, said Ethan.
What can we listen to downthere?

(05:50):
Well, I have a friend down atthe bottom of the ocean.
He is a uh, he is actually acrab.
A crab, yes, he used to have acastle up on the sand, but he
has moved down to his underwaterholiday house for the moment.
What's his name, said Ethan?
His name is King Crabby Claws.
King Crabby Claws, said Ethan.

(06:11):
Yes, he is very important, heis a king.
Would you like to try and listento what King Krabby Claws is
doing?
Um sure, said Ethan, let's havea listen.
Okay, we point it this way andadjust this dial here.
And okay, this time I need youto press the blue button so it
engages the special kind ofsound waves that suck in the

(06:32):
sound from under the sea.
Ah okay, said ethan.
So he pressed the blue button.
Now we listen.
As they were sitting, they couldstart to hear some noise.
And left, 2, 3, 4, right, 2, 3,4, spin 2, 3, 4, here we go.

(06:53):
Um, king Krabby Klaus, is thatyou?
Who?
Who said that?
It is me?
Bonigo?
Bonigo, what are you doing?
How are you talking to me?
Well, we have invented aspecial sound sucker that can
suck sound from anywhere andallows us to talk back.
Hi, I'm Ethan, said Ethan.

(07:15):
Hello, I'm King Krabby Klaws.
What are you doing?
Listening to me?
Well, we wanted to say hello, and this was the only way to get
the message under the water.
What are you doing, king KrabbyKlaws?
Well, it's a little bitembarrassing, that's okay, said
Ethan.
You don't have to tell us.
No, I want to tell you, I'mtrying to learn to dance.

(07:37):
Really, said Benigo.
Really, said King Krabby Claws,no-transcript.
Well, maybe you could try anddo the very special extra
dancing.
What do you mean the extradancing?
Said King Krabby Klaus.
Who are you talking to?
Who is that?

(07:58):
Ah, that's Nippers.
Hello, it is me, nippers.
Hello, nippers, it is Bonigo.
Do you think that you couldbuild something for me if I give
you the instructions?
Um, maybe what you need to dois get three pieces of seaweed
and fold them sideways.

(08:18):
Okay, I think I've done it.
Then you need to grab some ofthe sand from the very bottom of
the ocean.
Yes, I have some of that.
Then you need to electrify it.
Do you have an electric eelnearby?
Um, let me see.
So Nippers went around andlooked until he found an
electric eel.

(08:39):
He came back inside.
Ow, yes, I have one.
Okay, make it.
Electrify the seaweed.
Okay, said Nippers, and hepointed the electric eel at the
seaweed that he had just puttogether.
As it zapped the seaweed, theseaweed came to life and stood

(09:00):
up like a real person.
What is going on?
Said King Krabby Claws.
This is your new dance partner.
It will teach you how to do thedancing.
The seaweed stood up with KingKrabby Claws and they started to
dance.
Partner, it will teach you howto do the dancing.
The seaweed stood up with KingKrabby Kloes and they started to
dance together.
This is amazing.
This is the best dancing I'veever been able to learn.
You look incredible, saidNippers.

(09:21):
That's amazing, said Ethan.
Yes, it is, but I think we needto go actually watch you do the
dancing.
Are you ready to do aperformance?
Um, yes, I think we need to goactually watch you do the
dancing.
Are you ready to do aperformance?
Um, yes, I think so.
You are definitely ready, saidNippers.
Okay, we will be there veryshortly.
I'll see you soon.
Okay, bye.

(09:42):
Benigo hung up the sound sucker.
How are we going to get to thebottom of the ocean?
Said Ethan.
Well, there is anotherinvention that I have been
working on that actually boughton to the sound soccer.
What does it do?
Said Ethan.
You see, okay, we are stillpointed in the right direction.
But ego pulled out anotherinvention from his toolbox and

(10:02):
clicked it onto the side of thesoundsucker.
Okay, now you hold on to thishandle.
So Ethan grabbed hold of thehandle that Benito was talking
about, and I will hold this one.
And he took the other one.
Okay, here we go.
Benigo pressed the giant purplebutton in the middle and, as he
did, they got sucked into thesound sucker.
Then they got blasted as soundwaves all the way down to the

(10:25):
bottom of the ocean and thenreappeared right in front of
King Krabby Claws and Nippers.
How are we breathing?
Said Ethan.
Well, we are not really here,we are just sound versions of
ourselves that look like us andappear in the right locations.
That's amazing, said Ethan,said Nippers.

(10:50):
Ah, yes, I will show you mydancing because I am King Krabby
Claws.
King Krabby Claws started todance with his seaweed friend.
It was amazing.
Ethan and Benigo sat andclapped as they danced.
I think you need more of a beat.
Hang on.
Benigo used the sound suckerand pointed it over back towards

(11:13):
where Barry was.
Then he started to talk Barry,we need more drum beats, so King
Krabby Klaws can do the betterdancing.
All right, guys, I'll startdrumming again.
Ready, here we go?
One, two, three, four, andBarry the gorilla, started
playing his drums.
And to the beat of the amazingdrums, king Krabby Klaws and the
seaweed creature were dancingunbelievably, so much so that

(11:40):
Ethan and Benigo and Nippers alljoined in.
They had the most fununderwater dance party to the
beats of the gorilla drums.
Okay, this has been so much fun, but, ethan, it is time that I
got you back home.
Are you ready?
Um, I think so, said Ethan.
See you later.

(12:00):
Bye, said Nippers.
Goodbye, said King Krabby Claws.
Um, I'm still here too.
I'll see you later, said Barry.
And with that they got suckedback to the treehouse.
When they arrived back in thetreehouse, Benigo and Ethan sat
down.
Wow, said Ethan, yourinventions are incredible.
Why, thank you, said Benigo, but I better go back to my
workshop and start working onthe next very exciting invention

(12:23):
.
Okay, said Ethan, I'll see youlater.
And with that, benigo collectedhis tools and his inventions
and ran off down the street.
Ethan walked back inside and,as he did, his mummy was there
waiting.
Hey, ethan, what were you doingup in the treehouse?
It looked like fun.
Well, said Ethan, I don't thinkyou'd believe me, even if I

(12:44):
told you and that is the end ofthe story.
