Speaker 1 (00:05):
One day a little boy
named Mason was outside at his
house.
Now he was walking across tothe car and he jumped in.
He was very excited becausetoday him and his mum were going
to a play centre.
He loved going to the playcentre.
There was all kinds ofplaygrounds and slides and all
those sorts of things.
So they started to drive andthey drove along the road and as
(00:28):
they were driving, mason couldsee something out of his window.
Um, mum, did you, did you seethat?
See what?
Said his mum.
I thought I saw somethingorange buzzing past the car.
Orange Said his mum, don't,don't be Mason, I don't think
there'd be something orangebuzzing past our car.
Oh, I must have been seeingsomething.
(00:49):
As they continued to drive, mason all of a sudden thought he
saw something else.
Mum, I saw something bluebuzzing past the car.
Mason, said his mum, are yousure?
I think so, said Mason.
Well, let's just keep going.
We're almost at the play centre.
So Mason and his mum're almostat the play centre.
So Mason and his mum pulled upat the play centre.
He was so excited.
(01:09):
Let's go in, mum, let's go.
He said Okay.
She said she opened the doorand Mason jumped out and they
raced inside the play centre.
As they got inside, mason wassuper duper excited.
Mum, can I go to the slidefirst?
Sure, said his mum as he waswalking over to the slide.
What was that?
Said Mason.
I saw it.
(01:30):
That time, said his mom, I'mgoing to go look.
All right, said his mom.
You go have fun.
So Mason started moving in thedirection that he had seen the
buzzing.
I think it went this way, hesaid, walking over towards the
base of the slide.
As he got there, there was afuzzy little orange man.
Um, who, who are you?
Said Mason.
I'm Fizzy Whistler, said thefuzzy haired little orange man,
(01:53):
and I'm here to have extra fun.
Um, extra fun, said Mason.
We're at a play centre.
It's already so much fun, Iknow, but I can make it even
more fun.
Um, how are you going to dothat?
Normally I make a very big mess, but today I have learnt a new
trick.
A new trick, said Mason.
Yes, instead of destroyingeverything, I can do something
(02:14):
else now.
Um, what can you do?
Said Mason.
Well, when I fizz and I whiz, extremely exciting things happen
.
Watch this, said Fizzy Whistler.
Fizzy Whistler fizzed off in thedirection of the slide.
Where's he going, said Mason ashe looked across.
Whoop, the slide flipped upsidedown.
(02:35):
Fizzy Whistler, what did you do?
I can make things flip upsidedown, said Fizzy Whistler.
What, said Mason?
That is, fizzy Whistler startedfizzing all over the playground
and everywhere he went theplayground would flip upside
down.
The play center was gettingflipped everywhere.
The monkey bars were upsidedown, the big slides were upside
(02:57):
down, the climbing frames wereupside down, even the bouncing
castle that was in the middlewas upside down.
Um, fizzy Whistler, if it's allupside down, no one will be
able to play.
Hang on a second, said FizzyWhistler, and he came back over
towards Mason.
Hold still, said Fizzy Whistler.
So Mason stood very still andFizzy Whistler started to fizz
(03:19):
around the outside of him.
And as he fizzed and he whizzed, mason started to feel very,
very strange.
Then whoa, said Mason, as heflipped upside down.
What's going on?
Said Mason.
Well, now you can play on theupside down playground, said
(03:42):
Fizzy Whistler.
Hooray, said Mason.
This is, this is his mum.
Looked across Mason.
You're upside down, I know,said Mason.
Fizzy Whistler did it.
Hello, said Fizzy Whistler.
I'm Fizzy Whistler.
Um hi, said Mason's mum.
Come on, mason, let's go, saidFizzy Whistler.
So Fizzy Whistler and Masonstarted running around the
(04:04):
playground.
It was very strange being upsidedown and still being able to
play on all the equipment.
Mason went up to the top, whichwas kind of the bottom of the
slide, and he looked up or maybeit was down.
He couldn't quite work it out.
Um, what do I do now?
Said Mason.
You slide?
Oh, okay.
So Mason jumped on the slide Z,throw him in all kinds of
(04:29):
different directions.
This is straight.
Oh actually, no, this is.
This is so much fun, yelledMason.
He was so excited.
Let's go do more things.
It was very ridiculous to see akid who was playing on all kinds
of upside down play equipment.
The other kids at the playcenter thought this was very
cool too.
Hey, I want to go on the upsidedown slide, said one of the
(04:49):
little kids.
Don't worry, said FizzyWhistler, I can make everybody
come on the upside downequipment.
Okay, hold still kids.
Fizzy Whistler went over to allthe other kids at the play
centre and started fizzing andwhizzing all around the outside
of them.
Fizzy whizz, whizz, whizz, whizz, whizz, whizz, whizz,
whizz, whizz.
As he did, each one of the kidsbegan to flip Upside down,
(05:11):
upside down, upside down.
The kids were laughing andgiggling as they all got flipped
.
In no time at all.
All the kids were standing onthe roof of the play centre and
starting to play with all theupside down play equipment.
It was incredible.
They played and they played andthey played until All right,
(05:31):
it's time to go home, called oneof the little boy's mummies.
Um, said the little boy, I don'tknow how to get down.
Oh, said Fizzy Whistler, Ididn't think of that.
What Said Mason?
Well, I only know how to flipthings upside down.
I don't know how to flip themback the other way.
Um, we might be in trouble, said Mason.
(05:52):
Big trouble, said the littleboy's mom.
Quick, come down, I can't, saidthe little boy.
What are we going to do?
Said Mason.
Um, I hate to say it, said FizzyWhistler, but we might need my
brother, your brother.
Yes, it seems that whatever Imix up, he seems to be able to
(06:15):
fix.
So you think he might be ableto get us all back up the right
way.
Um, yes, how do we find him?
Said Mason.
Well, he's blue and he hasfuzzy hair, just like mine.
Um, often you can find himsomewhere near me.
Um, okay, all right, everybodycalled out.
Mason, we need to find somefuzzy blue hair.
Everybody search the playground, he called.
(06:35):
So all the kids startedsearching the upside down play
equipment at the amazing upsidedown play center.
As they searched and theysearched, they looked in every
different area.
We can't find him anywhere.
I'm going to play in the upsidedown ball pit, yelled one of
the kids as he did a big jumpinto the ball pit.
It was very strange watchingthe balls go down and then back
(06:56):
up again.
But as he hit the bottom of theball pit, oh that tickles, said
the kid.
Tickles said Mason, that soundslike something fuzzy, hang on.
Mason ran across to the ball pitas well and he jumped into the
air and dived to the top.
Or was it the bottom?
He wasn't quite sure.
But when he got there he sawsomething blue and fuzzy.
(07:16):
I think I found it, said Mason.
He touched the fuzzy blue hair.
Out of the ground popped a blue,fuzzy-haired little man.
I'm Whizzy Fizzler.
Uh-oh, he said as he lookedaround.
Fizzy, have you been flippingthings upside down?
Um, no, said Fizzy Whistler, Iknow that you have.
(07:40):
Okay, well, I'm guessing youfound me, because you need it
all flipped back up the rightway.
Um, I think no, said FizzyWhistler.
I think yes, said Mason.
The kids need to start goinghome and nobody can get back
down to the ground.
Okay, said Fizzy Whistler, let's go, but I need some help.
What help do you need, saidMason.
(08:02):
Well, I think I need everybodyto throw all those ball pit
balls in my direction.
What's that going to do, saidMason.
Well, said Wizzy Fizzler, it'sgoing to be a lot of fun.
Ready kids, the kids all crowdedaround the ball pit and Wizzy
Fizzler sat in the middle.
Yes, said the kids.
Okay, one, two, three.
(08:24):
Whizzy Fizzler started to whiz.
As he started to spin, the kidsstarted throwing the ball pit
balls straight at him.
The balls were getting knockedin all the different directions
and each time they flew over tosomething and hit it, it would
flip back up the right way.
First it hit a piece of theplayground equipment and the
monkey bars went back down tothe ground.
(08:46):
Then another piece, thenanother piece.
Then they started hitting allthe kids, said one of the kids
as he started to flip over andfloat back down to the ground.
Hooray, said his mummy.
Keep going, said Fizzy Whistler.
I whizzed, said Whizzy Fizzler,as he continued to whiz around
the entire playground In no timeat all.
(09:09):
Everything had flipped backaround the right way.
Hooray, said Mason, we did it.
Yes, we did.
Said Whizzy Fizzler.
I think we should flip it backthe other way, said Fizzy
Fizzler.
No, you don't.
Said Fizzy Fizzler.
As he tapped Fizzy Fizzler onthe shoulder, Ow?
Um, anybody want to tap my hairagain and make me go fizzy?
(09:30):
Um, maybe later, said Mason, not right now.
Said Fizzy Fizzler.
Um, okay, I think my work hereis done, said Whizzy Fizzler.
Thank you, I had lots of fun.
Just then, the man who owned theplay center came out.
That was the coolest thing ever.
He said Um, do you guys want tocome back next Tuesday and we
(09:52):

Really, said Fizzy Whizzler.
Really, said the man.
But you need to be there too,he said to Whizzy Fizzler, so
that we can get the kids homewhen they need to go.
