Speaker 1 (00:05):
One day two kids
named Charlie and Luna were in
their lounge room.
Now they had a speaker thatthey were using to play some fun
music and as it was playing, they were dancing around the
room having a wonderful time, until all of a sudden, the
speaker stopped.
Um, charlie, did you stop?
The speaker said Luna no, didyou stop?
The speaker Said Luna no, didyou stop?
(00:25):
The speaker Said Charlie, no,they looked and it looked like
it should still be working, butfor some reason it wasn't making
any sound anymore.
Oh, said Charlie, I reallywanted to keep dancing.
Me too, said Luna, I might beable to help you, said a voice.
Who said that?
They looked around the room.
(00:45):
They couldn't see anyone Downhere, said a voice.
As they looked around, they sawsomething very, very tiny on
the ground.
What is that?
Said Luna.
I don't know, said Charlie,let's have a look.
They bent down very, very lowand tried to see what it was,
and they got closer.
They realised it's.
It's a tiny little girl.
Who?
Who are you?
(01:06):
My name's gloria, gloria, saidluna.
Yes, and I am very teeny, tiny, and I heard that your speaker
stopped working.
It did, said charlie.
Maybe together we might be ableto fix it, really, they said.
Really, said gloria, but howare we going to do that?
Well, first of all, you need tobe teeny, tiny, just like me.
(01:27):
How are we going to get assmall as you said Luna?
Ah, I have another friend thatmight be able to help.
Can you call with me?
Her name's Peach.
Um, how do we call?
What's her phone number?
Said Charlie.
No, you don't need a phonenumber, just call her name.
Oh, okay, said the kids.
So they started to call outPeach, peach.
(01:47):
Just then a fairy appeared intheir room.
Hi, said the fairy.
Are you Peach?
Said Luna, I am.
What can I help you with today?
Well, that tiny little girl downthere said Luna, oh, gloria,
said Peach.
Do you know Gloria?
Yes, she's one of my friends.
Let me guess she needs you tobe shrunk down.
(02:08):
Nice and teeny, tiny, small.
You're right, said Luna, canyou help?
Yes, said Charlie, she's got tohelp us fix our speaker.
Of course I can help, saidPeach.
All right, I've been working onsomething very magical and very
important.
Here you go.
She threw two things to Luna.
She caught them.
Bracelets, said Luna, yes, veryspecial.
(02:30):
Teeny tiny bracelets.
If you put them on, you'llbecome teeny, teeny, teeny, tiny
, just like Gloria.
Okay, luna helped Charlie puthis on.
Once it was on.
Zzzzz, charlie, where did yougo?
I'm down here, yelled Charlie.
It worked.
Would you like some help, luna?
Yes, please, said Luna.
(02:51):
So Peach helped Luna put on herbracelet as well and as she did
, she shrunk down teeny, teeny, tiny.
Thanks, peach, they said.
When you're finished, saidPeach, just take off the
bracelets and you'll come backto normal size.
All right, we'll see you later.
Okay, gloria, where are we going?
(03:11):
Said Luna, come with me.
Said Gloria, running andjumping across the floor.
Wow, she's so fast and athletic.
Yes, it's fun.
When you're teeny tiny, you canjump and run extra fast.
Oh, okay, the kids started torun and jump as well.
You can, this is cool.
They raced across the floor allthe way to the speaker.
(03:33):
All right, said Gloria, let'sgo in through this spot here.
She found a little hole in theside of the speaker and they
started to climb inside.
When they got in, it wasamazing.
Inside there was all kinds offunny little mechanical things
and different objects that allseemed to have different roles,
and at the centre of it all wasone tiny little man.
(03:54):
Um, charlie, did you know thatthere's a man inside of our
speaker.
No, said Charlie, that's,that's unbelievable, I know.
Okay, let's go find out what'swrong, said Gloria.
She raced over.
Hey, how you doing?
Hi, said the man, sounding verysad.
Um, what seems to be theproblem here, said Gloria the
(04:18):
speaker.
It stopped working.
Do you know why?
Said Luna.
I don't.
There was a big clunking soundup over there and then, all of a
sudden, I couldn't get themusic to keep coming out.
What do you mean?
Get the music to keep comingout, said Charlie.
Well, what happens?
The music comes in here andthen I have to collect it and
(04:39):
then take it across to all thebits that make it all come back
out again.
See that tunnel over there.
Ah, yes, that's where I put allthe deep notes so that they can
go to the subwoofer part andthis part here that goes up to
the tweeters that do all thehigh notes.
Wow, said the kids.
That's amazing.
What does it look like whenmusic comes in?
Look, the kids looked acrossand still coming through the
(05:02):
little part at the entryway wasa whole bunch of music notes.
They were floating and flyingaround through the inside of the
speaker, but they weren't goingto the right locations.
Why aren't they going to theright spots?
Because I had to stop puttingthem in there to try and make it
work again, said the mansitting at the desk.
Oh well, if we fix it, will yoube able to get the music to
come back out?
Definitely.
He said.
All right, let's go look.
(05:24):
So the kids and Gloria startedclimbing the inside of the
speaker.
It was very tricky.
There wasn't many things tohold on to.
They had to be very careful.
They climbed over differentobjects and over little cables
that joined different parts toother parts as well, until they
got up to one of the high partsof the speaker.
And in the middle of the highpart of the speaker there was
(05:45):
some kind of weird, strangebuzzing noise.
Whoa, what's happening?
Said Charlie.
It's trying to take my hand.
What do you mean?
It's trying to take your hand, said Gloria.
Mine too, said Luna.
They looked down and realized itwas trying to pull their
bracelets in.
Oh, maybe this is.
Is it a magnet?
(06:06):
It is a magnet, said Gloria.
For some reason, the magnet isnot working properly.
Then, all of a sudden, itpushed the bracelets back away
again.
Whoa, it threw the kids backdown to the ground.
Wah.
And then it pulled them back inagain Wah.
And still they grabbed onto oneof the platforms halfway up the
speaker.
I think that magnet might bethe issue.
(06:28):
Hmm, let's see.
But how are we going to getthere if you keep getting pushed
and pulled in all kinds ofdifferent directions?
Hang on, said Charlie.
I can see this cable seems togo to the magnet.
He said, maybe if I disconnectit here.
Charlie disconnected the wireand all of a sudden their hands
relaxed once again.
Oh, thank goodness, I thinkwe've turned the magnet off.
(06:51):
Great job, kids.
Now we better go investigateand see what's going on.
Together they all started toclimb up the speaker once more
from the platform where the kidshad stopped.
They climbed all the way backto the magnet.
They climbed up inside themiddle of where the magnet was
working and they started to lookaround.
Help, help.
(07:13):
They heard a voice.
Who's calling for help?
Let's go look.
So the kids started movingtowards where they could hear
the voice.
Gloria was bouncing from oneside of the magnet to the other.
She was very exciting and veryagile.
As they walked their way acrossthey saw stuck on the edge of
the magnet was a funny-lookingmusic note who who are.
(07:35):
You said Charlie, I'm part of asong, but I got stuck.
You got stuck, said Luna, what?
Speaker 2 (07:42):
happened.
Well, I'm heavy metal music,but I think I was a bit too
heavy.
Speaker 1 (07:48):
I can't get out
through the speaker holes it
said oh, so did you get stuck tothe magnet?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, because I'm
metal.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
It said oh dear, said
the kids, how are we going to
get him out?
Maybe we could carry him, saidCharlie.
I wouldn't try that, said thefunny looking music note.
Well, we have to try something.
Charlie and Luna grabbed holdof the funny looking music note
and tried to lift it off themagnet as they lifted.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
Whoa, he's so heavy.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
He said oh dear, said
Gloria, what are we ever going
to do?
Well, if he's metal, then maybeif we get him into the right
part of the magnet and then turnit back on, it'll blast him
back out.
Yeah, that magnet seems to bechanging direction.
Sometimes it pushes andsometimes it pulls.
Maybe if we get him in theperfect spot on the magnet's
(08:43):
face it'll blast him straightout through the speaker.
That is a good idea, saidGloria, but how are we going to
move him?
Speaker 2 (08:51):
Well, maybe if you
all work together you might be
able to move me just a littlebit.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Um, okay, they said,
I think we can do this.
So Charlie, Luna and Gloria allgrabbed hold of the funny
looking music note and theystarted to pull and pull and
pull with all their might.
Fortunately, Gloria was just asstrong as she was fast and
together with the kids they wereable to pull the funny-looking
(09:20):
music note to the centre of themagnet.
Hang on, said Luna.
She tilted the magnet slightlyso that the face of it pointed
directly towards the hole wherethe music was coming out.
I think it's going to work.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
All right kids.
I suggest, when you reconnectthat magnet, that you block your
ears.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
Why is that?
Said the kids.
Trust me, said the music note.
Okay, they said we better getback down to that connection.
So the kids and gloria climbedback down to where the magnet
was connected.
All right, are we all ready forthis?
Said luna.
I think so, said charlie.
Let her rip, said gloria.
So, so Charlie and Lunareconnected the wires and
(10:03):
blocked their ears as the magnetactivated.
There was the loudest, heaviestmusic noise that any of them
had ever seen.
Raaaaaah, wow, said the kids.
That was, that was ridiculous, and in no time at all normal
music notes started bumping backup through the kids.
That was that was ridiculous, and in no time at all normal
music notes started bumping backup through the middle of the
(10:23):
speaker, heading up towards themagnet and coming back out.
They could hear a voice downthe bottom it's working, called
the man at the desk.
I'll start shoveling in allthese leftover notes.
Hooray, said the kids.
We better get out of here.
Do you reckon we could go outthrough the speaker hole?
We better get out of here.
Do you reckon we could go outthrough the speaker hole, said
Charlie.
Um, I don't see why not, saidLuna.
I'll just grab one of the musicnotes, said Gloria, try that
(10:44):
too.
So the kids and Gloria allgrabbed onto a music note each
as it bounced up through themiddle of the speaker and hit
the magnet.
They got blasted out throughthe speakers.
The music was starting to play.
As they landed on the ground, gloria smiled I'm so glad I
could help kids.
Thank you, gloria, said Charlie.
Yes, said Luna, we couldn'thave done it without you.
(11:06):
Best you take off yourbracelets and listen to the
music.
Make sure to do some gooddancing.
I'll see you later, said Gloriaas she raced and ran and jumped
off into the distance.
Bye, they said.
The kids undid their braceletsand went back to normal size.
As they stood up, they wererelieved Looking at the speaker.
It was very funny Because allthe music notes that were
(11:27):
trapped inside didn't seem to becoming out in the right order.
The music was all jumbled andsilly sounding.
We'll get it right soon.
They heard a voice from insidethe speaker.
Don't worry, said Luna, it'sfun.
Yeah, said Charlie, it's fun.
Yeah, said Charlie, so much fun.
Just then their dad came in.
Hey kids, what's with the weird, strange music?
He said.
(11:47):

told you, and that is the end ofthe story.
